After doing some research, reading comments from HomeStars, and getting quotations from several dealers, we decided to buy the A/C and the air cleaner from Spring Home and Cooling System Inc. We were impressed with the sales manager Cy Goh, who gave us a very thorough presentation on the A/C, Air Cleaners and their installation process. He is very knowledgeable and patiently answered all our questions and concerns. On the installation day, the technicians came on time and were friendly and professional. During the testing, we noticed that water was leaking from the furnace. The technician spent time to trouble shooting for the cause. It was concluded that the evaporator coil had manufactory defect and was the cause of the leak. They ordered new coil right away, since it was long weekend, the technician had to travel to Mississauga to get the new coil. At the same time, Cy called us to apologize and to explain the reasons. Although we had this setback, we were still very impressed with the service and the way they try their best to solve the issue. From this experience, we felt that Spring Home stands behind their products and we can trust them. I definitely will recommend Spring Home to others. As a matter of fact, I have already recommend Spring Home to my two friends and they are getting the A/C from Spring Home on the coming weekend. We planned to install A/C for our new house. After doing some research, we decided to upgrade the furnace and add HRV and Air Cleaner. We contacted a few contractors and SpringHome won both on price and trust. The sales manager Cy and technical manager George were great to work with. We learned a lot from their home visit and settle on a configuration that we were happy with. The installation team was professional and finished all installation in a single. The after sales service was after attentive and followed up thoroughly. Highly recommened and we even extened our warranty to 15 years becasue of their servie.

After doing some research, reading user reviews and receiving several quotations, my wife and I decided to trust the services of Spring Home Heating and Cooling Systems Inc. Cy arrived at our home promptly, took his measurements and assessed our current situation and made suggestions on what could be improved on. He gave a little presentation on Spring Home, which included some pictures of completed jobs. I basically informed him of what items we needed (new air-conditioner, air-cleaner, humidifier, furnace air intake, neutraliser and thermostat) and he proceeded by suggesting the best products to fit that need, while keeping prices in check. Cy was able to answer all my questions very thoroughly and never tried to up-sell any products/services. He also pointed out things that differentiate Spring Home from the competition (i.e. fabricating turning vanes in the return boot to assist with furnace air-flow). On installation day, the guys were prompt, friendly, professional and clean. They explained how the system worked and what I needed to do to maintain things going forward. Cy and his team will be back in a few weeks to install a compressor sound insulator and to optimise the system, ensuring peak efficiency. Cy – thanks again for your patience in our group deliberations. Overall, my wife and I are quite pleased with the products and services we received from Cy and the staff at Spring Home. George and his staff were fantanstic. They were there first thing on Tues. morning and went through hoops to get the parts. The Navien company in the US was not cooperative and did not agree to providing the two parts at the same time, even though the computer diagnosis indicated it was necessary. Spring Home worked many long hours and made two trips out to Mississauga, (from our home in North York) to do what was necessary, yet didn't charge me for it because they didn't thing that was reasonable. I picked them because I thought they sounded more reasonable that other companies, and I found out it was true. They are terrific and I would highly recommend them to everyone.

My husband and I had met with another provider prior to contacting Spring Home Heating and Cooling Systems. Their high prices and many additional cost itmes did not appeal to us. Upon a recommendation, we contacted Spring Homee and we are so glad we did. Cy Goh took the time to explain the entire process and was receptive to our many questions. The workers arrived on time, worked efficiently throught out the day and left the work area completely tidied up. They also took the time to explain everything to us and we felt completely at ease once they left. A truly enjoyable experience!

After a thorough investigation of home heating options we were most impresssed with the knowledge and understanding of our needs by Spring Home Heatings Sales Manager Mr Cy Goh and his willingness to patiently answer all questions. Subsequent to that the job was completed in January 2011 on time in one day including the removal of old equipement and thorough cleanup inside and out. Time was taken to thoroughly explain the new equipement and digital thermostat controls. It is now May 2011(4 months later) and we have had 100% satisfaction with the new American Standard heating system and seen a noticeable reduction in our natural gas consumption. At the outset we used this website to read others satisfactory reviews and results with Spring Home Heating and would definitely recommend this company to others.

Before choosing Spring Home, we started last year getting quotes on just the furnace. We were told that our furnace was running at 60%, and this was a generous assumption. At the Toronto Home Show, we talked to 3 other Heating and Air Con. companies whom also arranged a free estimate. All 3 companies were very knowledgeable with good selling points. We decided to change out the furnace/AC/Water Tank all at once. We were just about to choose one of the three, when our friend called and said they had their furnace done by Spring Home, so we had to get one more quote. We called and arranged an inspection with George. He was very impressive with his answers to our questions, little did he know, we have been doing our research for about a year with manufactures, specs, installation, etc. George is very knowledgeable and informed us of things we didn't know. His crew of installers are certified gas fitters, they would be able to run our bbq gas line. We decided to go with George and his company, because we found him very knowledgeable, friendly, and most of all honest. The install was very satisfactory, the crew did everything in 1 day. Furnace/AC/Water Tank/BBQ line/Air Cleaner We would highly recommend Spring Home Heating. At least talk to them before your final decision, that's what we did.

The eco-energy retrofit was coming to an end and I decided it was time to replace our 18+ year old furnace and take advantage of the gov't grants/rebates. It was working ok but, I did not want to take a chance on it breaking down. I did my research on HVAC contractors as well as researching the products. When it came down to it, I chose Spring Home. Cy came over to the house, evaluated our needs and presented me with a hi-eff American Standard furnace, thermostat and a condensate pump. He only quoted what was required and I appreciated the no upsells on accessories. There was no pressure sales, the only pressure was for me to decide which HVAC contractor to pick. After meeting with him, I was about 90% sure that I was going to go with Spring Home. The price Cy quoted to me was very competitive and the reviews on homestars helped in my decision. The installers came on time, were polite and informed me of the things they were going to do with the install. In the end it took most of the day to install the furnace, touch screen thermostat and condensate pump. They did a thorough screening to make sure everything was working before they left and did not leave any mess. I am very satisfied with the work that was done and have even recommended my work colleague to them. Thanks again Cy and Spring Home.
