    BLAME!

    Building with Trico has become nothing short of disappointing. They keep "passing the buck"! We've tried on numerous occasions to get help with the drainage in our backyard (moved in July 2018) and it's still not fixed. Trico keeps telling us to talk to the developer (Timani). They tell us to go back to Trico. I go back to Trico and they say the same thing. My MAIN reason for writing this review is to shed some light on how we've been treated by the Service and Warranty department. I got an email yesterday from their Service and Warranty Coordinator accusing us of having our next door neighbors fence panels and what are our intentions of reinstalling them. Who do you think you are? SHAME ON YOU TRICO!!! I did my own investigating today only to find out that their contractor was the one to remove them!! You'd think that the Service and Warranty Department could find this out easier that I could - apparently not!! THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU CHOOSE Trico.

    Trico Home takes all feedback very seriously. I've looked into your concerns regarding the drainage of your lot. I can confirm your lot was graded as per the developer requirements and a final grade certificate was provided to you. It is the builders responsibility to grade every home based on the developer requirements and we cannot deviate from that. If a homeowner is not happy with the grades, we do advise them to speak with the developer. It is my understanding the developer did inspect your lot and confirmed the grades were correct. If settlement occurs, it's not uncommon for water to pool. When grass is installed it will help with the flow of water. In speaking with Service & Warranty the fence panels that are neighboring your home have been removed. We spoke to the developer, and site supervisor and neither of them removed. We asked if they asked a trade contractor remove and they did not. When the service department contacted you it was not there intention to accuse you but to explain the situation and inquiry if they were removed by yourself and when they would be reinstalled. We apologize for upsetting you. If you know what trade contractor removed the fence we would love to speak with you about this. Thank you for your patience. Nicole Walker, Customer Relations Manager

    New Home Build

    My encounter with Trico Homes started when we met Kristy, the Area Sales Manager. She was not only knowledgeable but responsive. Kristy's warmth and professionalism, coupled with the quality of the showhome in Midtown, made making a deal with Trico very easy. Subsequent meetings with staff such as Sarah at the Studio and Tim, the site supervisor gave me the impression we made the right decision in the first place. Our house was delivered on the date they agreed to do so and having lived in it for over a month, I can say it was what I hoped for. My expectations were well matched.

    New townhouse

    Very happy with the sales staff, George and Michael. A couple of gliches after moving in but handled promptly by the sales and the site foreman, Jason. Looking forward to enjoying my new home for many years . I would recommend Trico Homes to anyone looking for a new home.... the quality is very good in all aspects of the build. R.O.

    New home construction

    The sales staff were very helpful and accomodating, and did their best to cut down the cost. Our design specialist was fantastic and we're very happy with the way the home turned out. Just one change: it would be great to have the late changes cut off after the lighting and electrical appointments. We had changes come out resulting from those appointments, and had to pay extra late charges for things we didn't know about beforehand.

    Worst customer service

    Customer service changes when you have to buy and when have already bought. WORST WORST WORST.... my island in the kitchen shakes when someone walks on main floor. When asking them to fix they said there is nothing they can do this is how the layout is. Is this my problem that the layout is not appropriate. Second after few months of buying floor makes squeaking sound. They came after 6 months and put some glue in it. They were never fixed. And after how months after keep on emailing them hundred times they said oh actually the person who was working on it has quit the job... Excuse me i have spent lot of money and it was our first house experience but they have the WORST job.

We contacted the flooring company to confirm this work was completed. Regarding the shaking island, the Trico Service Technician has advised the deflection that he observed was within the industry standards and as per the government warranty standards some deflection can be expected.     New Custom Home

    We just recently build our new home in Calgary and had the pleasure to work with Justin. He was absolutely amazing! He was very thorough and helpful throughout the process. We had nothing to worry or concern us, it felt he had everything taken care of. We would even seek his advice sometimes after Appliance or Granite appointments, and he was always pleased to offer an opinion and any assistance. There was no lack in communication with anyone on the team, any questions asked had a prompt reply. We get so many compliments on our new home we would like to thank Justin, Selene, Jennifer and the whole Trico Team. We could not be happier with our purchase! The endless compliments on our home are incredible to hear. Thank you so for making our dream home come to reality!

    WALK THROUGH

    Our turn over walk through was very informative and positive. All the boring stuff was made interesting and explained in terms which I could understand. defences were fixed right away!

    Purchase of new home

    In search of our new home, as we toured through many open houses and show homes, it became evident how the quality of a Trico home stood far above the rest. Right from the warm greeting of the sales staff and receptionist to the show home we felt valued and appreciated that we chose to view a Trico home. The workmanship and the cut above decorating sold us! Absolutely exquisite taste was evidenced in color choices and staging to bring home the realization of how beautiful the home is. Since the sale, we have not been forgotten as the home warranty, follow up inspections and sales staff have been there for us to answer any questions and have provided top notch service. We have been married for 52 years and have lived in many homes and this Trico home is our dream home.

    New Home buying process in Cornerbrook NE Calgary

    Very pleased and satisfied with the quality of house bought from Trico homes. This was our second home and first from Trico. All the staff we dealt with, starting from sales to service & warranty has been very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely recommend Trico to all friends and family. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK TRICO TEAM!!

    New Home SE

    The sales staff and Trico were accommodating to my needs. I had some questions and concerns along the way during the build of the home and they were addressed timely. I would definitely recommend this builder.
