    Purchasing of townhome sage hill calgary

    Great service by the sales manager and george. The site manager jason was excellent and im very happy with my new home. I recommended the houses here to a friend and they bought within one month.

    Great service and end results for our new home

    From start to end, the service was noticeably different (better) than our previous experience with builder. Throughout the house building process, the sales team members stay in touch with us and kept us up to date with the progress. They would even send us pictures of our home's current construction progress. The contractors/vendors they have for lighting, electrical and appliances are great and their prices are competitive for the light fixtures and electrical upgrade options. Construction build quality, warranty service and flexibility with providing custom options are all very satisfying.

    new home

    First time new home builder, trico's team made the whole process smooth and easy from beginning to end. I would recommend them to all my friends and family. Great Job

    New home build in Midtown Airdrie

    My wife and I recently moved from British Columbia to the city of Airdrie. After looking around Calgary and surrounding areas it was easy to make the decision to move here. The decision was made even easier dealing with the staff of Trico Homes. Every staff member was very professional and a pleasure to deal with. Our Sales Manager, Kristy kept us informed with constant communication including pictures of the building of our home while we were still in BC. Even though we were 1,000 km's away Kristy always replied to questions either on the phone or via email in a very timely manner. Kristy and her knowledge helped us design and build a home we are very proud of. Sarah of Trico Homes design came in on her day off to help us with the interior design of our home while we were in town for a weekend. The construction people, such as Tim and Bill have also been wonderful to deal with. It was a very good home building and purchasing experience dealing with Trico Homes. We would recommend letting Trico Homes help with your next purchase!

    New home buying process

    This was our first time buying a new home and we were working under a lot of unknowns. The only thing that made the process easier was working with our sales person. He made making every decision easy. He even helped us with details we didn't think of. An all around great service team. Thanks Trico!

    New Home build in Carrington

    Second purchase from Trico. Great service from start to finish, home was build with in the period advised at inception of sales process. Construction updates provided very frequently by sales and service team. Price was reasonable and quality of work was great. Sales team very friendly, responded to queries very quickly. Design center experience was great. Final walk through before possession date was very detail and after sales service (12 months post possession date) is expected to me the same.

    Love my new Trico home in Nolan Hill NW Calgary

    My second time building but first with Trico. My experience from start to finish and a year and a half after has been fantastic! All of the employees were a complete pleasure to deal with. No building concerns whatsoever. Extremely pleased with my home. Quality of workmanship is excellent. I got exactly what I wanted and paid for! I would highly recommend Trico.

    House in Sherwood NW Calgary

    My house was built in 2017 by this company and I have been having so many issues since. Most of issues that I have had were the subfloor issues like having a squeaky floor on the first floor and the second floor. I had the same issue again at the beginning of this year and they came down and said that it is not the subfloor issue, so I have to call the hardwood company to fix it. I kept saying that sounds of the floor don't sound like the board problem, but they said that it is out of the warranty and it is the board problem. Also, the Trico guy was sure that was the board issue under the hardwood floor and he said if the hardwood floor company said different, he will figure out to fix it. Therefore, I called the hardwood floor company that Trico wanted me to contact and they came down to my house. They said the same thing that I said, it is the subfloor issue. I talked to the guy at Trico again and he said that 'Oh, sorry, it is out of warranty, so he cannot help me anymore.' He is saying totally different thing because he doesn't want to admit it that he was wrong. This is the subfloor issue within 2 years. What they have been telling me sounds like they care about house only for 1 year which is under the warranty. Most of reviewers that gave this company 10/10 have been living in their houses within 1 year, so please be aware that house will be having issues after that and you are not going to be in care. This company doesn't care about the customers who live in houses they built. They only care about selling houses and making money and care about houses until warranty is over. I never recommend this company to anyone. I mean I cannot.

Trico has gone above and beyond the warranty to address those matters. Your warranty does come with limitations and time frames.     New home

    Excellent show home staffs. I bought the home with Trico was also read the review online, but the experience wasn’t what I expected. 1-The possession day was an unpleasant one. I found a few things need to be fixed and told the service man that this house will be leased to someone in 30 days, He told me “we have a schedule to come and we don’t build the for you to lease”. To me the home is under warranty, regardless of moving in or lease it out, it’s their responsibility to get it done right. 2-main floor bathroom door couldn’t lock properly and they told me that I didn’t close the door right, it need to be pulled toward me before the door can lock. They built a sliding door and it has no handle from the inside, how can I pull the door. The door lock should be simple enough that anyone should be able to lock it without training. 3-the vinyl deck was bubbling, they told me it will go away a few months. I wait over a year and had to complain again and finally the contractor called and told me they will take a look. Up until now, I still didn’t hear anyone call back to give me the answer. 4-We spent over $600000 for a new home and have no house number put on. It’s a cost of $15 and it’s not a big deal that I have to buy it, but it's not convenient that I have to find ladders, tool and measuring tape to centre. I’m hoping that I buy a new house and the general thing should be no headache. 5-hazardous materials was left outside when the job was done like 2x4 with nails pointing upward and sharp metal. 6-walked up stairs and nails poking my toes. The contractor told me it’s the sad truth that I have to deal with it! It’s a cheap carpet, he can pound it down a little, but won’t totally go away. To me, it’s a $600000 home and it’s not really that cheap to me and if so, everything should be built to work without the nails poking my toes. 7-drywalls and painting were rated poor to me. So many areas have on the drywalls have uneven surfaces and some looked like dents, large and small and they just painted over it. Trico said it’s from moving in, but I hadn’t started moving in yet. The house was still empty at the time. In general, I’m not really upset, but hope they will find better contractors and talk to their clients with better attitude. The good reviews can be wrong because I bought the home base on reviews!

    First home purchase

    I would like to commend Trico for excellent service provided for our smooth home purchase transaction. They have served us a way above expectation. They have been very professional in explaination, guided us through importance information about/on home purchase, until our home possession is accomplished. Moreover, an outstanding work ethics can be seen in their assertive way of communication. I myself also work in Customer-oriented profession and really feel privileged from getting similar customer service which I usually offer to my profession's customers.
