    Fix problem in men's bathroom that had been ongoing for months

    Excellent service. Technician solved an ongoing problem and provided pictures of what the problem was, how it was resolved and what it looked like after the repair. Would definitely have them back if any other plumbing issues come up.

    Fast service for an emergency

    The morning after a long flight that ended a long trip the hose connecting hot water to a bathroom sink suddenly burst and started to flood the bathroom. The only way to stop the flow was to turn off the hot water to the entire house. We phoned Knight Plumbing and they were able to send Dan out within a couple of hours. He phoned to let us know when he was on his way. Dan gave us an accurate quote and was fast and friendly and cleaned up after himself.

    Furnace and boiler repair

    Our furnace quit working when the temperature dropped to -25 C. I called Knight and they tried to get someone out that night, but they were swamped. Fortunately I was able to get the furnace working intermittently. The next day I called again and they dispatched George. He arrived at the agreed upon time and figured out what the problem was. It was an electrical control panel that was falling apart. He was able to get it to work (sort of) until a new part could be ordered. I just had to keep wiggling a wire to get heat. This was all on Tuesday. On Wednesday, George brought the part to the house and installed it. It turned out to be the wrong part (one digit different). However, he was able to make the old thing work adequately. On Friday morning, the part arrived and we agreed that he would come out at 4:00 to install it. Coincidentally, on Friday morning the boiler stopped working. Now I was really screwed. I called him to let him know and he called me back to ensure me that he would fix that too. He showed up at 4:00 (as agreed to) and fixed the furnace and the boiler. I thought everything was fine. Then Sunday morning, the furnace completely quit. It was dead! I texted George, not confident that he would respond. He responded in about 2 minutes. He ended up walking me through a diagnosis and we were able to fix the problem. Everything seems to be fine now. Thank goodness George was the guy they sent. He is friendly and responsive and goes out of the way to make customers happy. (If my furnace breaks down on the next couple of day, ignore all the good things I said, except about George.)

    Water heater (warranty replacement)

    Woke up to a COLD shower and water spewing out of the top of my water heater. Called Knight and was (as always) greeted by the most cheerful and upbeat person, ever. Was advised that they were booking into the evening, but would put me on the wait list, in the event there was a cancellation. Fortunately, I was the first one on the wait list and in under an hour I get a call that lets me know there has indeed been a cancellation, if the guy can come right away. YES! Dan shows up, checks out the situation, provides me with my options (with all costs), I make my decision and Dan starts to work. Within 90 minutes of Dan arriving at my door, I had a new water heater in place. When Dan left, you would never know he had been here. Everything was back in place and the area was as spotless as when he arrived. Dan was very pleasant, efficient and willing to answer any/all questions I had (I did keep them to a minimum). This is the second time I have called Knight and the second time they have come through for me, with flying colours. Thank you Dan and Knight!! The water heater that was installed ~5 weeks ago was leaking. Called Knight. Dave was out the next morning to survey the situation and very quickly determined that the tank had manufacturing issues (poor welds). An appointment was made, on the spot, for 2 days later (the soonest I could be available). Maria kept me informed as to timing, right up until the time Dan showed up. As with the last service call, Dan arrives, gets to work and within 75 minutes of arriving at my door, I had a new water heater in place. Once again, when Dan left, you would never know he had been here. This level of efficiency and professionalism is no fluke...it is the way Knight operates. Thanks to the Knight team.

    New hot water tank and humidifier repair

    I called Knight initially for a repair on our humidifier. When Jason arrived he was concerned about our hot water tank as it's original (20 years old) and advised us it wasn't going to last much longer. He quickly gave me a quote and fixed the humidifier problem. They were able to come back in a few days to install the hot water tank. Great service.

    Fawcet Replacement

    The Tech showed up on time and knew what he was doing. Most of all he explained what he was doing and why a replacement was needed as apposed to a repair. Thank you Jason.

    Furnace Replacement

    Loving our new Amana furnace - Our old 39 year old furnace became unreliable and needed to be replaced. Couple of years ago, we used Knight to make some urgent repairs to the vent on our old furnace. They responded quickly, when no one else seemed to care, right at the start of the heating season. They did an excellent job so we thought we would let them replace our furnace. They again responded quickly, right in the middle of the heating season. I was able to work out most of the details over the phone. Jonathan was great at getting things going and Kevin and Andrew did a fantastic job of installing the new furnace. Took less than a day for the install. Thanks again Knight!

    Furnace Motor

    After our furnace broke in the middle of a -25/-30 C weather we started looking for someone that could come in quick. We called a few places, someone even hang up on us when we started to ask if the could come quick and if they could give us a time. People can be rude! Then we finally called Knight and they were polite and quick to send someone to help. Kevin was great. Nice and patient with our inquiries. He didn't rush us and gave us his professional opinion which was that our motor was overheating and needed replacement. Before leaving he graciously answer even more questions we had and didn't rush like many people do. It made us feel like valued costumers. And we are warm again! Thank you so much!

    Garage in-floor heating was failing at zone valve

    George was very thorough in diagnosing the problem resulting in zone valve replacement and subsequent follow up to assure warmth was flowing to the garage with no interruption.
