    Air conditioner repair

    The technician (Karl) was very professional. Not only did he get my A/C working quickly (though he was very thorough), he explained what he was doing before he did it and answered all of my questions. I would definitely recommend Knight.

    Installed kitchen faucet I supplied

    Technician Jason was great. Although the cost was more than I expected the level of service far exceeded my expectations. The installation was not easy and I am glad I called a pro. Jason took care of all my concerns and fixed a leak that I did not know about at no extra charge. I would highly recommend Jason and Knight Plumbing.

    Duct Cleaning

    After having a negative experience with another furnace cleaning company, we contacted a few of the higher rated furnace and duct cleaning companies and found Knight to be of competitive pricing with great reviews. The reason why we went with Knight was that we could choose to be "first call of the day" meaning that they would start their day (between 8am and 9am) at our house. Having that option is much more convenient than choosing a 4-5 window to block off from your schedule. They arrived this morning promptly just after 8am after a phone call notifying us that they were on their way. We were given the breakdown of price after they had a chance to count vents, etc. and asked if we wanted to proceed. Overall, they were professional, courteous and thorough. They were there when they said they would be and the cost was exactly as expected. I would not hesitate to call them again for duct cleaning or other plumbing services if and when we are in need and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

    Furnace install

    I had my furnace replaced by Knight last week. The furnace install went great. The installers, friendly and on time, and knowledgeable. The whole furnace process from quoting to installation was fantastic. My only concern is in relation to the CO2 detectors installation. I was unaware these were included in the install, looking back at the quote, I see them listed. I should have declined them prior them starting. That oversight is my fault. UPDATE on concern: Company did call me that next week, and gave me a Tim Hortons gift card to apoligze. That said, I already have two CO2 detectors in my house. Your team installed two more, my wife was at home, and luckily stopped them before they installed a third. Both were installed on the wall, in areas that are not aesthetically pleasing. One was even installed 3ft down the hallway from my current one (mine is on the ceiling). The installer could have simply checked in with her prior to installing them. Or this could have been discussed in our morning walk-around. I could have advised where I would like them installed, or declined them. Additionally, they were installed with two screws into the wall. This could have been done with 3M double sided tape. This would have given me the option of moving them if I choose. Unfortunately, now, if I want to move them, I will have to fill the holes, and repaint the entire wall. I sent in my concern last week, and I have still yet to hear back from them. I certainly understand this is just a small item, but their lack of communication does concern me.

    Natural Gas BBQ Quick Connect

    This morning on short notice I called Knight Plumbing with an inquiry for service on a quick connect for my new natural gas barbecue. I was fortunate that on short notice they were able to fit me in and come out the same morning. Geoff came out and his service was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable, direct, and efficient with the install. He was sure to explain everything in detail prior to commencing service. Would absolutely recommend!

    Kitchen faucet leak

    Excellent customer service on the phone. Scheduled an appointment immediately and a technician was at our home in less than an hour. We had a leak in the hose of our Price Pfister kitchen faucet, as well as some small damage to our spray head. Rather than replace these parts, we were encouraged to replace the entire faucet for a Moen, based on the advice of the technician being that Price Pfister was a complicated product and their customer service was not great. The faucet that was recommended was sold to us at a markup of well over $100 from what it costs at Home Depot or Amazon. However, if I were to buy it myself, it would cost an additional dispatch and travel of $75 for them to return to install it so not worth it. All said and done, it cost over $900 for the replacement. Dispatch and travel was $75, the diagnostic was $130, the faucet was $463, the labour an additional $215. Our technician Jay was very friendly and helpful, but I think the overall cost was far too much.

    knightmare kitchen reno

    I was in the middle of a nightmare kitchen reno. it is an older house we knew that it would not be smooth sailing but we where hoping that the plumbing would not be an issue. we had designed the kitchen so that we would minimize any need for plumbing changes.. well not everything goes according to plan when dealing with older home renos.. it turns out the previous owner has also done some renos and that caused havok with the new renos. we had just finished the demolition part of the build and we saw the issue.. we had to cut change plumbing around. we called 3 other companies and knight plumbing was the first one that was able to send a technician the same day. 2 hours later I had Dan in my house and walking me through how to solve the problem. He assured me it was an easy fix for them and that it would be done immediately. he had quoted me for maximum 6 hours and said that he was sure that it would take less time but with older homes.. you just never knew.. I agreed to the quote and was booked in for the next day. Next morning Technician Geoff arrived and apologized for Dan, He was sick and would not be able to work today but that He (Geoff) had spoken to Dan and was updated on the requirements. Geoff was quick and efficient, he treated my home as his own. wore boot covers when having to walk off the construction site and did an amazing job. he finished the job in only 5 hours and cleaned up all site as well. I would highly recommend this team again.

    Furnace & Tankless Water Heater Installation

    So I contacted Knight on Home Stars as I just bought my house and discovered that the furnace was dead. They had me at how they answered the phone "...This is Sheri, how can I make you smile.." no matter what mood you are in, that greeting sets a pleasant tone for the rest of the interaction. Geoff came out to spec the furnace and whilst he was here, he noticed that my water heater was on it's last legs which I knew and cut me a deal if I changed out the water heater which I did. I found all interactions with Knight personnel to be very professional. Kevin did the furnace installation and Mike did the tankless water heater. These guys are professional, responsive and customer oriented. They come in greet you pleasantly explain what they are going to do and get it done. I would highly recommend Knight for all your plumbing, heating and A/C needs. 2 thumbs way up and 5 stars all the way.

    Hot Water Tank Problems

    We noticed that the hot water was not working and the pilot light on the tank would not light. We called Knights plumbing to have a look. Jason was over in less than 5 minutes and was able to drain the tank. We would have had flooding otherwise. The new tank was put in and fully functional in less than 24 hours.

    Removal of old furnace new installation of furnace and air conditioning

    From initial sales call from Brian Pigeon and installer Kevin Wall was completely satisfied with professionalism and patience when asking any questions or how equipment would operate. Installer took time to make sure all removal and installation was top of the line was very punctual and stayed on job site all 3 days. Both Brian and Keven showed good sense of humour and spoke of the enjoyment they had in working for Knights. Would highly recommend both individuals and Knight's overall.
