Was having some trouble with our toilet for some time. It kept running until we would jingle the handle a few times. We hired a handy man to fix it 6 months ago but in the end he made it worse. He basically tried to make our toilet into a low flow toilet by shortening the chain and lowering the floating ball(ball cock)-He fixed the constant running, however we had to flush repeatedly to get rid of any waste.
Finally we had a party over the weekend, and one of our guests didn't know our trick to flushing, and used to much power on the handle and a part broke inside the toilet.
I was thrilled because finally i could rationalize calling in a professional and get it fixed for good. A friend of mine recommended Waterworks.
Craig and Matthew came out to take a look and gave me some options of how to fix it. They explained each option along with the prices of each and what they would recommend. They didn't pressure me either way. Craig was really great and explained to me what they did in terms even I could understand.
Along with an extra warranty, we saved 10% on parts/labour, which was great- I would recommend them to anyone searching for a plumber and not knowing where to start. I know everyone cringes at the cost of having a plumber come to the house, but if you have a problem, they will fix it, and you won't have to think about it again. I can't tell you how much of a relief that is.
