    unplugged tub, sink and fixed toilet

    Jeff and Mike were on time, did their work quickly and professionally. They gave us a good rate, and stuck to it. They made honest recommendations that were very helpful, and helped us save money

    Faucent Repair

    It was late one Thursday morning and I was packing to leave for NYC the next morning at the ridiculous hour of 4:00 am, when I discovered that my bathtub faucet would not shut off. Hot water was streaming out rapidly. I needed help fast: I called the company and good to their promise, Michael was there within 30 minutes. He swapped out a working cartridge to stem the immediate problem, ordered new parts, and treated the whole situation professionally and with the sense of urgency that I was certainly feeling. He came back early the next week, installed new cartridges within 30mins and was pleasant, personable and very knowledgeable. One of the best home repair situations I have ever experienced.

    Backed up main sewer line

    Kitchen drain was leaking in the basement. Opened up wall to repair pipe, found that the PVC pipe was not conntected properly to an old cast iron pipe, that had been cut and left open. Turns out the pipe wasn't leaking, but in fact the sewer was blocked with roots and was causing a back up. Reconnected pipe and will have a proper connection done within the next day or two. Will call City to deal with the roots on their end of the line.

    Home plumbing inspection and repair

    Just moved into my new home. I needed a thorough inspection on plumbing and some repair - the home has had problems in the past. Michael and Jeff were completely professional. On time, spoke to me in plain language I could understand, answered all my questions, did not take advantage of the fact that I am moving in and am pressed for time, and saw to everything in the house. I have peace of mind (and a couple of fixes). Truly professional work with a great bedside manner.

    Leaking waterline off laundry tub

    What can I say - they were reliable, highly professional, arrived on time. Beyond that the work was top notch, quick and clean. I also appreciate they took the time to explain the work that was done. Great job, no complaints. Thanks!

    leaking water meter

    We had our house for about a month, Michael and his assistance were very professional at their work. The repair was unexpectedly fast and clean. It was a very pleasant experience to have them take care of our problems. thank you

    Plumbing

    On Thursday afternoon Michael from Water Works showed up right on time to look at a clogging problem on our second floor bathtub. Although he snaked out the huge chunks of hair that had accumulated in the pipe over the years, the drainage strangely didn’t improve much. So, he came back later that evening with his coworker to investigate the main source of the problem. Soon we found out that our 100-year-old house’s clay sewer pipe under the basement had been invaded by tree roots. This meant having to break the tiles and the concrete in the basement and replace the clay (elbow) pipe with a new PVC pipe. Naturally, we were distressed having to face a rather serious problem, and anticipating all the things that could go wrong during the process of fixing it. In the following 5 days, however, I had confirmed why a good service could make a big difference in one’s life. All of the Water Works’ staff were punctual, professional and never wasted time. The workmanship was excellent. I recommend Water Works Company, especially Michael, because he is passionate about his job and tries to make you happy. You can definitely rely on his prompt and efficient service. Oct. 1, 2009

    Trouble shooting hot water mixing in cold

    Michael was able to accommodate our schedule and arrived early! He was extremely personable and I felt very comfortable having him in my home with my little kids underfoot. We explained the problem, and I expected to see the same look of "not knowing where to start" that I got from another plumber. But instead he did some trouble shooting and within 15 minutes was able to isolate and solve the problem! He also took the time to explain everything. He was extremely professional, courteous and respectful to our home (love those shoe-covers!). My family can now safely use the cold water without the fear of getting burned. Thank you Water Works! I definitely would recommend Michael Yuffa and Water Works Plumbing to my friends and family!

    Fixing shower faucet

    Michael was fantastic - found and fixed the problem immediately, couldn't have been more friendly and professional. Definitely two thumbs up! Not sure why they're asking for at least 30 words - that seems kinda silly to me :)

    Catch Basin Quote

    I had requested a quote from Water Works for my parent's drain in a mutual driveway. Even though the project it has been put on hold due finances, Water Works was still generous with advice. Rosanna from the office was kind and helpful, it is rare to find such sincerity when dealing with contractors. I will certainly keep Water Works on my list of contacts for any future plumbing needs.
