    kitchen snaking

    Mike is great. I was having an issue with our kitchen sink. I was using another plumber at the time who told me I needed thousands of dollars worth of work done in order to fix our backup issue. I called Public Plumbing for a second opinion and Mike came and investigated very thoroughly; turns out the original plumber never installed a piece in our sink he was supposed to. Mike not only removed all the buildup from our sink but also gave me step by step advice for what to do next, which was very helpful. I highly recommend Mike and Public Plumbing

    Hose Bib Repair

    PUBLIC PLUMBING SAVED MY LIFE! My Hose Bib started leaking right at the dinner party, Phil came out right away after i called. He assessed the situation and repaired it quickly! Definitely my go to plumbers now. I highly recommend this company.

    Kitchen Sink

    Excellent work and would definitely recommend and use again! arrived on time, explained everything, 1.5 everything was done, tested and work area was left clean and organized at the end. Very competitive pricing as well, good advice on maintenance. Cheers, Sarah

    Install new toilet, shut off valves, isolation valves, faucets, pop up strainers.

    Very pleased to have received a brochure in my mail box from Public Plumbing. After checking this company on Homestars I called for an appointment with a plumber. Phil arrived in short order and on time he explained the work needed to install the new low flush toilet. He showed me that shut off valves should be installed along with isolation valves for safety. We had these done throughout the house. The work that Phil did for us means that our home is Code compliant which it was not previously. Phil always arrived on time and was very patient and helpful. We are more that grateful for his work and feel lucky to have such an experienced and honest plumber working in our best interests. Thank you Phil and Public plumbing you are the best!

    Shower Base Installation

    I could not have been happier with the shower base installation. It was quality all the way. they showed up on time and completed within what I thought was reasonable time frame. I will use them again.

    Fix exterior water pipes and noisy bathroom washroom

    The Public Plumbing team member was right on time: very knowledgeable and quick to both diagnose the problem and fix it on the spot. I was really pleased with the work and advise we got for future work. We would hire them again!

    Emergency Drain Inspection

    My basement toilet suddenly turned into a geyser. I called my regular plumber, but he was unavailable and recommended I contact Naz at Public Plumbing. Naz was able to send his partner Mike over with almost no notice at all. Mike was great - from the boot covers to the care with which he inspected the drain inside and out. He even took care of a couple of slow draining fixtures in another part of the house. In the end it turned out the issue was (mostly) benign, caused by sewer work on my street, but I was happy to pay for the service call just for the peace of mind. I'd happily recommend Public Plumbing.

    Basement Drain Pipe and Backwater Valve

    Mike and his team was extremely helpful and professional during a stressful time in our lives this winter. With an infant at home and a flash flood in our basement, Mike was quick to the scene to help with a quick solution for the active problem but also a diagnostic investigation and long term solution to the problem. They came in and within 2 days had replaced the old clay pipes in our entire basement, installed a backwater valve and updated the remainder of our basement plumbing. They were fast, professional and cleaned up after themselves. They were courteous around our young child and respected our living space. We would highly recommend this team for any plumbing concerns you have.

    Replace external spigot with frost free, and redo off value in house

    Phil came by and got the work done nicely. Kind enough to show how the new spigot works, show me the off value, made good recommendations and actually did the work we asked. (We've had some in the past from other companies do the easy way work around). Cleaned up after himself, no mess left behind, excellent customer service all around. Would recommend the company and especially Phil again.

    Bathroom reno

    We used Public Plumbing to do a bathroom Reno - re-tile and replace bathtub. Very expensive and refused to negotiate price. The tub was extremely cheap and flimsy. There've refused to honour the 1 year warranty after the tub was damaged. Don't stand behind their work or the products they use. Regret using them.
