    main line fix, back water valve, basement drain

    What my wife and I expected to be a disaster job ended up being one of the most efficient easy and hassle free experiences we have experienced. Our main line pipes were broken causing back up in our basement shower. This required Nazar's crew to dig up our front lawn to fix the problem. They were able to finish the job within 3-4 days only because they had to wait for an inspection. They were super neat and restored my lawn back to the best conditions that could be expected. The job was done well and at the same time a backwater valve was installed so we do not have to worry about floods in the basement. Nazar's team also installed a drain in my basement which could have been an issue if we ever had a flood. I would recommend their team to anyone who requires plumbing work. They were extremely reliable punctual and very pleasant.

    Installed Dishwasher and 2 Faucets

    Vlad did a great job installing my new dishwasher and two new faucets. He was prompt and very knowledgeable. He completed the work in a timely manner and provided very high quality workmanship.

    leaking water heater

    I had went into my basement one morning to find my hot water heater was leaking from the connection from the top. After having no luck getting any help from the manufacturing company i called public plumbing to ask for advice. They were able to send some one out on the same day to replace the part that was leaking and saved me from having to deal with water to damage my basement floor.

    Installation of Vanity

    Although we find the prize for vanity installation outrageous in general, we cannot but say that Vlad from Public Plumbing did an excellent job in installing two custom made bathroom vanities. The office is very responsive and appears very professional in relating to customers. Appreciated was a follow up call to see that no problems had arisen since installation. I should also say that Public Plumbing was the only company who offered a rebate. Instead of 1840 + HST, we paid &1550 including HST. Still a lot, but the most competitive prize we could find. And we have no reason to say that the company is not worth the money.

    Back water valve and water proofing

    We contacted Public Plumbing to fix the water seeping in our front cold room and to install a back water valve. We worked with Mike and he provided us with a detailed quote and broke it down by project so we were able to pick and chose what we wanted to get done. The team was professional, on time and left the basement cleaner than before they started working. We used Public Plumbing in the past for an emergency situation and were very happy with their service and workmanship. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to my family and friends.

    kitchen pipe busted

    Leak in basement due to a leak from a pipe under the kitchen sink, as well as a drain blockage. The persons that attended were very efficient and professional. Gave me a full account of the problem along with some very helpful hints. I will continue to use them for all my plumbing and drainage issues

    Odd plumbing around the house

    The only reason and am giving this company a 9 (I really would give them a 9.5) is because the dispatcher got the dates mixed up and we had to reschedule several times. We didn't have any emergencies, so that was not really an issue, but giving someone a 10 means perfection to me. That being said, the plumber Nick, was extremely apologetic and he called to reschedule and showed up on time. He tool longer than expected because he needed to go get some parts because some of the plumbing was old. He wanted to make sure everything was done perfectly. He was extremely friendly and patient when a problem arose. I have to get a part from the contractor who installed my shower faucet and he is going to come back and fix that issue at no cost. I will for sure use Nick when I have plumbing issues in the future and I will recommend him to my friends. Again, Homestars has not let me down.

    bathroom shower renovation

    Public Plumbing recently did a complete master bathroom shower renovation and they did an excellent job! They arrived promptly each day and completed the job within the promised time frame. I would definitedly use this company again and I highly recommend Andy and his team.

    New Water Line

    Highly recommend Public Plumbing! Even though their original quote was higher than another plumber we were considering, they matched the quote and even offered to do a camera scope of our outgoing drains. They are knowledgeable, helpful and did an outstanding job of explaining every step of the job they were doing. They cleaned up the site and ensured that there was no damage to our landscaping. Will absolutely call them again for future plumbing work.

    Residential plumbing

    I chose Public Plumbing in GTA after contacting 6 plumbing companies listed in Homestars. All the companies had excellent reviews and ratings. The work to be done was the replacement of two 25 year old bathroom sinks and faucets, the replacement of the kitchen faucet and the replacement of a 25 year old Moen cartridge in the shower. The prices quoted by the companies I called went as high as $1500.00. Judging by the good reviews I'm sure any one of them would have done an excellent job. However I chose Public Plumbing not because they happened to quote one of the much lower prices which I thought was reasonable for the job but mainly because when Nick the plumber called me back I remembered the many very satisfied reviews I had read about Nick's work. I found Nick did all of the work carefully with thought given to the best solution to installing the new sinks to fit the existing drain pipes. Because I like to learn, Nick was very patient in answering my questions about his work. The replacement of the cartridge in the shower was relatively straightforward compared to the other jobs and by watching Nick I now have the confidence to replace that cartridge myself. Nick is very thorough in doing his work from beginning to end. I'm happy Public Plumbing in GTA sent Nick. In the future if I need any plumbing work to be done I'll be calling Nick. Also I would not hesitate to recommend Nick to my friends. David Chong
