New powder room and pipe replacement
We brought in Andy and his team from Public Plumbing to install a powder room into a small space on our main floor. On day one they discovered that our basement sewage pipes were crumbling and needed to be replaced. Andy's team completed both jobs in the original timeframe quoted for just the bathroom. It was a pleasure working with him and I have already recommended him to friends.

Toilet Repair
Great company- great service. Gave me an appointment same day. Technician (Vlad) came within agreed upon time. Very friendly, knowledgeable. I would def use this company again/or recommend to family and friends.

replace a section of clogged clay pipe
My doing laundry upstairs caused my tenants bathroom in the basement to flood... I called Public Plumbing after a search on the Internet... Mike arrived promptly the next day. Using some very sophisticated machinery and a camera, he was able to see that a section of clay piping had come apart, shifted and was almost completely plugged with tree roots... He was going to have to break through the tile, the concrete, dig out the clay pipe and replace it with a new proper pipe... a crew of 3 men arrived the next day... They started the work immediately, laying down tarps to protect carpets and flooring. Buckets of dirt and tiles were taken out efficiently and carefully. They put in 4" PVC, tying it into the newer renovations, back-filled the dirt and cemented the floor, preparing it for re-tiling... They were careful to make sure the cement was at the right level to accommodate the tile... All in all the work was done thoughtfully and well. I am very happy with the work. Mike cleaned out two drain lines to the street and found covers for the two clean out valves in my lawn. I would definitely recommend Public Plumbing and will call them for any future plumbing needs and renovations.

Blocked kitchen sink drain
This was the second time I have used Public Plumbing and the service was once again, excellent! Terry quickly detected the problem and had my sink working and area cleaned in less than 30 minutes. I appreciated his professionalism and speediness.

toilet repair
leak from bottom of toilet was going to fix myself new seal; looked more complicated called for estimate came next day fixes very good on time on price explained all.

shower lowering and Schluter
After a successful first job, I hired these guys back to come lower my shower and install the Schluter waterproofing. They were efficient, friendly and easy to work with. Happy to recommend these guys to family and friends.

Basement drainage etc
We have had a number of plumbing jobs done by Naz and his Public Plumbing team, including installation of a back-flow valve, sump pump and other related drainage work. All the work was completed efficiently at a reasonable price and the workplaces left clean and tidy. We continue to recommend Public Plumbing to any of our friends in need of any plumbing services.

rough-in for bathroom and kitchen
bathroom and kitchen rough-in. old bathroom was gutted and before putting up the walls, the plumbing had to be roughed in. This company did most of the work. We finished the rest.

Backflow valve/lead pipe removal
This firm did an excellent job installing a back flow valve and new copper water feed. The job was started and completed several days after I gave the go ahead. Every effort was made to minimize mess and clean-up was exemplary. My only complaint would be some minor interior wall access damage was not repaired and there has been some sinkage where the hole was filled in. But all in all, a good job.

Guest Washroom
We had a leak in our guest washroom in March 2015 and public plumbing was the first plumbing service we called from home stars, based on their reviews and the work done by them in a similar instance. We were not disappointed - they accommodated us on very short notice and fixed the leak. The service was very professional and the plumber also gave us some good advice and helpful tips on related plumbing issues - we are glad we called them in, would def. recommend to our friends and family.
