Basic Duct Cleaning
I received a basic duct cleaning. Steve and Matt came and did a great job, explaining things along the way. They were very personable. And now my house smells very fresh and clean from the eco-friendly sanitizing solution they used. Breathing better already! Originally I was going to get the full cleaning, but we decided, after they'd done an assessment that probably the basic was sufficient. It was nice that they didn't try and oversell. I appreciated that. By the way, they had a sale in January, so I got $100 off. That was also nice!

Duct cleaning
Paul and Matt showed up on time and were at my house for over 2 hours cleaning ducts that were not cleaned by the previous company I hired. They came in and checked out where all the vents were and the location of the furnace before bringing in any equipment. He then laid out drop clothes throughout the house so they could hook up the vacuums. They did not take any shortcuts and thoroughly cleaned the three trunks of my system. Paul showed me evidence of where the previous guys failed to do their job and even found a loonie somewhere and gave it to me. Now all I need to get back is the other $999 the other guys scammed us for. To sum it up...my faith has been restored in duct cleaning thanks to Paul and Matt. Good guys that I wouldn't mind sitting down and having a beer with.

These companies that scam homeowners really need to be punished, so hopefully you are successful in your legal proceedings. Duct Cleaning
We decided on calling The Duct Cleaning Specialists after reading their positive reviews on Homestars. Steve arrived promtly at the arranged time, and after assessing our ducts, he was honest enough to tell us that we didn't require a full duct cleaning, but that he would clean the vents. He was thorough and professional in checking and cleaning them, and once they were all done, he sanitized the system. I would recommend this company for their honesty, reliability, punctuality, and a job well done.

Duct cleaning
I would definitely recommend these guys. They did a great job cleaning the ducts. They also exceed my expectations by correcting an air flow problem I had with my ducts. I was so happy I gave them a generous tip!!!

Duct Cleaning
I booked Duct Cleaning Specialists after reading through the reviews on Homestars. They were booked up so I had to wait just over a week for an appointment but when it came time for the call, they were early and did a great job. I would highly recommend them for their professionalism and knowledge. My 3 year old had pee'd numerous times down our vents to see what would happen. Paul sanitized all our vents after he cleaned them and even gave us some extra santizer in case it happened again! Just so you know, it pays to do your homework. All the companies that I've used through homestars have been great - including Duct Cleaning Specialists. I would have no problem using them again or referring them to others.

Duct Cleaning
The Duct Cleaning Specialists were great. It started with a prompt return call after I asked for more information from the web. They outlined the costs for the services. They showed up on time, walked me through their assessment of my duct work (It didn't need a full duct cleaning as it was quite clean already) and proceeded to do an excellent job of cleaning out my return air vents, sanitizing the system and cleaning out surface debris (i.e. cheerios in the vents). I was offered advice on how to maintain my system and they even managed to pull out a register that the previous owners had lost / dropped down a 20 foot vent!. Great service, a real pride of workmanship and nice guys too. Highly recommend them to others.

Duct Cleaning
I knew I was in good hands with Paul when he called to let me know that he was stuck in traffic on the 401 and was going to be a little late. Upon arriving, Paul and Matt promptly assessed the current state of my ducts. Shortly after inspection, the service options were clearly tabled. To my surprise, Paul identified that my ducts did not need cleaning for another 2-3 years. They proceeded to clean the vents and disinfect the system with an eco friendly product for a nominal fee. I recommend this company because of its forward thinking of customer service by simply being honest, stating the facts and re mediate what needs to be done. Paul keep doing what you’re doing and I’ll see you in a couple of years! Steve

It's just a common courtesy to keep you informed on our arrival, so your not sitting around wondering if were even going to show up, so glad you appreciated the call. We always do a system assessment to make sure you infact need duct cleaning to be done. With a newer home, having it done not to long ago, the condition wasn't at all a worry. Doing some small cleaning out of the vents, having the system disinfected, filters changed, was pretty much all that was needed. Most companies just show up, blow air down the vents, but really, that does nothing. When the time comes for the job to be done, you want it done properly. Whether you use us, or another company, just make sure they are certified (NADCA - National Air Duct Cleaners Association) Thanks for the kind words and we look forward to serving you in a few years. ducts, dryer vent cleaning
I thought I needed a full duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning and assumed I had a $300 job. The guys came in and said there was really only one duct that was dirty and the dryer vent was mostly ok too. They cleaned the duct and took apart the lint trap in my dryer and cleaned it out as well and only charged me $50 plus a donation to the food bank. Great, honest service.

Duct Cleaning
Because my family suffers from severe allergies, we get our ducts cleaned once every year. It's amazing the difference you can feel in te air quality after Steve does his magic! There's a reason I keep hiring these guys year after year. Keep up the good work!

Basic duct cleaning
Paul and Matt just finished up with our place and we're very happy with the work. We have a 70 pound four-legged shedding machine, so we assumed the ducts were all gummed up and needed a full cleaning. Paul pointed out the returns were filled with dog hair, but a basic cleaning would do the trick. He didn't try to up-sell us, which I really appreciate. They fitted our returns with custom filters, which will help keep the ducts clean over the long haul. Quick an d clean! Thanks for the great work guys!
