    dryer vent cleaning

    I had my dryer vent cleaned out several years ago and was never happy with the quality of the service. I called Paul because his company was so highly rated on Home Stars. He was punctual, professional and his service exceeded my expectations. Once the vent had been cleaned out, he made sure that the vent pipe was fully attached. He pointed out that the excess lint in my laundry room was the result of a gap at the top of the vent pipe and he fixed it! I recommeded him to my daughter and she was also very pleased with the quality of his work.

    Hey Karen, thanks for doing a review. I can imagine why you were not happy with the previous company and wondered why it was so hot and a lot of lint in your laundry room. As I showed, the previous company not only did not clean the ducting out properly, but the vent was not properly attached, so all of the exhaust was just shooting back into the laundry room.     Duct Cleaning

    I emailed Paul a week ago to schedule the duct cleaning for two houses. Paul completed the cleaning in Jeff’s house and then came to my house. After checking the return ductwork, Paul told me that my ductwork was not dirty enough and didn’t require a complete cleaning. He vacuumed the return ductwork and put on the sanitizer. And Paul didn’t even charge me for a penny. He asked me to go to his website and donate money to the charity instead of paying him. I am very impressed by his honesty and passion in supporting the community. I will definitely recommend him to all my friends.

    duct cleaning

    the bestdecision i ever made...u can tell the difference now-no pet smell and no other classic house odour. excellent service i'm very pleased with the results. he knows what he's doing , very professional i will recommend Paul to anyone. THANK YOU

    HVAC duct cleaning

    Steve from The Duct Cleaning Specialists spent about four hours thoroughly cleaning out our heating ducts. He was courteous and seemed to do a very thorough job. He also explained to me several aspects of the job before, during, or after it was done. He cut a large hole in the cold air return and four small ones in one of the heating trunks, connected a big indoor vacuum to the furnace and turned it on high - blowing air into my basement from the suction, but it filtered through a huge bag and there was no dust - and then went to each vent and used a blower to blow dust towards him where it was vacuumed with a shop vac, or towards the furnace where the fan picked it up (I'm afraid I don't understand quite how it works, but he showed me a ton of dust so I'm sure it did!) This is a small, two-man team (Steve and Paul) and my understanding is they get all their business through word-of-mouth, unlike some of the bigger, shadier outfits that mostly do phone marketing. My only issue is that he sold me (for a mere $5) a filter for my ground floor cold air return, and neither he nor I thought to check that it was big enough, and after he left I discovered it doesn't fit properly. Old houses like mine (1920's) tend to have larger cold air returns than newer ones, and this filter has 1" gaps on either side of the long sides. Highly recommended, very professional.

On a side note, regarding the return air filter for the large vent on the floor, we shoudl have installed 2 filters, and cut the 2nd one smaller.. although a 1" gap on both sides is not really going to make a whole lot of difference, if any. These filters are never going to be a perfect fit, especially with the older homes. None the less, if you would like me to swing by and cut some filter to fill the gap, I would be more than happy to.     First rate service and professionalism

    I emailed Paul to schedule a duct cleaning before Aug.27th so I can move in to a cleaner house, but he was going to attend the technical conference until Aug.29. I decided to wait for him until Sep.2nd. Turned out this is the best decision I've made. It is not the first time I had done duct cleaning, so I can tell the difference when Paul is doing his job. I almost felt socially responsible to write this review so we can see more young man like Paul in the future. He spent 3-4 hours in my 1200 sq.ft 60-year old bungalow, registrer by registrer. I can clearly hear those half century old debris being sucked through the pipe. When the job is done, both my wife and I can feel the difference as we've lived in this house for a week. There is no more pet smell or the classic old house odor. Thank you Paul, a job well done

    Duct Cleaning

    Paul and Steve spent three hours cleaning ducts in my house on August 31, 2011. I just recently moved in to a new location and felt it was important to have my house as clean as possible. Paul answered all of my questions and gave me a deal on cleaning my bathroom exhaust vents. Steve was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable about a wide variety of subjects. I think he liked our pet rabbit. Anyway, Paul and Steve did an excellent job, and given they worked for three hours, I feel I got a deal on the service they provided. Paul concluded his visit by reminding me how often I should change my filters, and I was surprised to learn that he didn't recommend getting the ducts cleaned in my house every year. Clearly, he is very honest. I would not hesitate to recommend The Duct Cleaning Specialists.

    Duct and Dryer Cleaning

    Paul was highly professional, friendly and gave me helpful advice to fix an existing problem. He clearly enjoys his job and takes pride in his work. We will definitely call The Duct Cleaning Specialists again!

    Duct Cleaning 3 story house

    I found this company on homestars and I called them along with few other ones. I needed service on a specific date / time to have the ducts cleaned (my daughter is allergic to cats) before we moved into our new home. Steve arrived early, was very well prepared, explained the job, showed me some areas of concern throughout. It took him approx 4.5 hrs to finish the job. Half way through I inconvenienced him because a fridge got delivered and he had to stop his equipment, move it and then re-set it up. He was very understanding and accommodating, which I really appreciated. He performed a few additional fixes related to air circulation, cleaned / replaced filters, etc. Overall great service, I'd happily recommend.

    duct service

    After a tennis sized ball fell into our vent I phoned and requested a full duct cleaning. But after looking at the main HVACarea Paul suggested that it wasn't neccessary, since there wasn't much accumulation. But Paul was determined to help remove that ball that was blocking air flow from one vent and was successful!! Paul was honest and just charged for a service call instead of a whole system cleaning!

In this case, having recently had the ducts cleaned, there wasn't a need for another cleaning. I was up to the challenge however, to remove the tennis ball that was lodged in the ductwork, restricting air flow to the upstairs bedroom. Glad my tricks worked and was able to get it removed.
