We called Gentlemen Plumbers because our office toilet was leaking from the handle and over the lid, sometimes continuing to run after we flush, and sometimes overflowing despite there being no solids. Dylan was able to come the following afternoon to look after this. He diagnosed the issues based on what he could observe as well as his professional opinion: the leak and running were connected with the back apparatus of the toilet, and he suspected the toilet was overflowing due to a buildup of uric acid and/or calcium. He clearly communicated our options as well as the price points: replace the back apparatus which would solve two of the issues but probably not the third issue, or replace the toilet which would solve all the issues. We decided to replace the toilet and are very glad we did as Dylan found a large build up of calcium in the jets and drain of the old toilet after removal. Also, I asked Dylan to be as thorough and detailed in the notes on the invoice as possible so that our landlord (who was out of the country) will know that we made the correct call in replacing the toilet instead of just the back apparatus. Dylan did just that; the invoice was very detailed with exactly the information we needed for our landlord. Dylan was courteous, professional, worked quickly and efficiently, and left no mess. Based on how quickly Gentlemen Plumbers was able to send someone, the quality and speed of the work, and the professionalism of the employee, I would absolutely recommend their services and/or use them again in future. I also appreciated that cost is calculated based on the job, regardless of the number of hours spent and that the employees come prepared to deal with any issue the same day.
