    Roof

    Our recent experience with having our roof re-shingled turned out to be a case study in how to create an excellent customer experience. Danny responded very quickly to our initial request for a quotation and was very professional and knowledgeable about the company’s products. He communicated with us on a regular basis both before the job started and while the work was being done to ensure that we were always in the loop about what was going on. The crew arrived on time the first day, were friendly, very professional and did an excellent job on both the roof and the cleanup. Overall, Danny and his team exceeded our expectations. Well done!

    Roof Replacement

    Thank you for doing such a great job on our roof! The work was done quickly and efficiently by a good crew. They were respectful and friendly. The quality of the job is very good, and the service provided by Danny was excellent.

    New Roof & 2 replacement skylights

    That dreaded time came when every home owner has to start calling to obtain quotes for new roofs. We had some companies working int he neighbourhood that gave some quotes that at first glance seemed great but what they offered wasn't even in the same ball park as City 1 Roof Works. I had 6 quotes in total...5 from very reputable companies and one endorsed by a very well known contractor on television. Roof Works explained everything in detail, took the time to answer all my questions, answered both email and phone and provided me the best price for quality work. The crew was professional and polite and took extra care and caution because i have a dog and small children that would be running around in the yard after their cleanup. They took down satellite dishes I no longer needed and cleaned out a down spout for me, all above and beyond the scope of what we had agreed to. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a new roof and/or skylight replacement. Danny and the guys at City 1 Roof Works take pride in their work and did a fabulous job at my residence.

    Roof Re-Shingle

    We just had our roof re-shingled. From the initial meeting, Danny was professional and confident with the company's service and products. The crew was proficient and the results show in the finished product. Like other reviews, the cleanup was great; you would not have known that any work was done if not for the lawn sign. Overall, we are very pleased with Danny and his crew’s workmanship and quality of service.

    roof replacement

    I can only say good things about this company - they were reliable, punctual and very able & capable - did a superb job on the roof as well as a perfect cleanup job afterwards, and dealing with the men was always a pleasure as they are a very polite & respectful crew! Thank you City 1!!

    Emergency roof repair

    First big storm and torrential rain (where was my Ark this morning?) and i open my garage door to find water streaming down from the roof - where it adjoins the house. Not a happy sight so early in the day. I rang 3 companies and only 1 got back to me straight away - City 1 Roof Works/ Roofs on Homes. From the first contact on the phone to the work itself I have nothing but praise. Maria was helpful and understood my timing issue. Chuck turned up as promised. He inspected the area, made the suggestions of what needed doing and quoted me a reasonable, fair price and did the work there and then. With more heavy rain in the forecast for tonight I will sleep easy knowing my roof is fixed. Thank you Chuck for the excellent, friendly service. I have no hesitation in recommending this company and I will be using them to replace my roof later this year.

    New Roof

    We have just had a new roof put on our house. What a wonderful experience with the crew and the clean up it was fantastic. The roof looks great could not ask for a better job would highly recommend this roofing company. The owners of the company treat you as if it is there own home old world values.

    roofing

    I've used them 8 years ago and recommended them to many others since. They did a great job for a great price. I recently had some roof damage from the wind. I had called them to come have a look - within a day they came to repair - free of charge Now that's service! Thanks Again!!

    Roof replacement

    I posted a very positive review when the work was done last summer. Now that almost a year has passed, I thought I'd share the fact that the difference between our roof and the roofs of the neighbours who went with the lowest bids are already showing. I can only imagine that this will become more clear as time goes by. I'm still glad I trusted Danny and his guys and paid up a couple of grand. The difference in quality is obvious and worth paying for.

    Complete Roof

    I submitted a request for a quotation via Home Stars and received a return e mail very quickly. Danny came to my home(on time) very prepared with satellite imagery(at his cost) to provide an accurate estimate. He informed me why I was having the problem up front(ice damming) and told me how to fix it. Gave me several options and educated me in regards to my best roofing interests. His price was not the lowest and far from the highest I received. Scheduled me a start date,showed up on the scheduled day completed the job in less time than he estimated,cleaned up and was gone leaving no trace that they where ever there. Besides the beautiful new roof and venting system they installed. And stayed on budget! Crew was polite and respectful and did not hesitate to answer any of my questions. If I could rate this first class team higher than a 10 I would.
