    Roof works

    In February we had this snow storm and while the ice was melting another snow storm happened than I realized the leak coming on my roof was due to ice damning, which prompt me to call several estimates to have my roof redone as it has been over twelve years and the original roofer did not install an additional layer under the shingles to protect my roof from the ice damning situation. City 1 Roof gave me the best price and quality of work for what I was seeking for, which is the extra underlayment to protect me from the ice damning. Danny came over to provide me the estimate and explained about the materials he would be using so, I was sold on Diamondeck system. The men did an excellent job on the flat roof, the shingles and skylight all done in two days and after the job done they clean all the debris on the deck and disposed all the old shingles on their truck and carried away. I recommend their job without a blink.

    New Roof

    We were very pleased by the work done by this company. Danny was able to come out quickly after I first contacted him to provide a quote and spent time describing the work to be done and what materials were to be used. After some research, I decided to go with Roofs on Homes due to the quality of materials they were offering, the fact that the crew were all employees and not contracted out, as well as the reviews found on this site. I was anxious to have the work done quickly due to a number of missing shingles and a lot of bad weather. Since the work was initially scheduled for mid May, Danny patched the areas I was concerned about. Due to a cancellation they were able to get the work done earlier. The job was done quickly and no mess was left behind. A large crew came out and were able to finish the job in one day. We were very pleased with the final results. Great customer service provided by Danny and very professional job all around. I would definitely recommend them!

    replace roof

    I am extremely happy I chose Danny and his team to replace my roof. I have an old house with big trees all around. It makes the roof job a bit of challenge. Danny’s estimate is very detailed and the price is very reasonable compare to other quotes I got from other roof companies. The way he deals with client is very professional. I have been deal with many trades’ people in the past. He’s the only one showed all his paper works when we met the first time without I even mentioned to him. His men start work at 7:00am and finished the work at 5:00pm. They cleaned the eaves even though that is not part of their job. They also cleaned my backyard and the side of my house. Now it looks way cleaner than before they came. The roof looks great! Thanks Danny and your team! Your guys are great!

    Roof Installation

    Danny was knowledgeable and professional. He inspected the roof as well as the attic to make sure all work needed was included in the cost. Chucky is a great team leader and his men worked hard and in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Danny and his crew to anyone!! They did a FANTASTIC job and my roof looks gorgeous!!!     Replace shingles

    Fantastic service from start to finish. Danny was very professional and informative from day one - he even helped up out when the roof leaked before their operating season started! Once the weather warmed up, Danny touched base as promised and coordinated a delivery and installation date. Danny's business partner Chuck and the crew did a thorough job of removing the old shingles and replacing the house and garage in what seemed like no time at all. Paid exactly what was quoted, plus they cleaned up all the debris and even hooked up a new bathroom vent line in the process. Incredible experience, highly recommended, would not hesitate to refer their business.

    Small leak in the roof

    My roof sprung a small leak since we had lots of rain past couple of days. My house is only about 7 years old. My wife called a couple of contractors but they started diagnosing the problem over the phone and wanted money even before seeing my roof. I took to homestars. Saw the reviews of City 1 Roof works and then sent them an email. I was surprised to receive a call from Danny in an hour. He was extremely courteous and professional and asked for details. I told him that I understand that the job was very small for his company. He said that he will be coming by this week to see what the problem was. I give him a score of 10 based on his initial response. He has lived up to his reputation on Homestars so far. I will update my post once he comes over this week. Update to Above: Chuck came by on Thursday from Roofs on Homes which is a division of City 1 Roof works(as per his business card). Very nice guy and extremely courteous & knowledgeable. I was very happy just talking to him. He climbed up and found what the problem was. He explained to me what the root cause was and also took pictures which he showed me. He promptly went back up and fixed the problem. I was also extremely impressed that he was so confident with his workmanship that he gave me a warranty certificate for the work. We had a lot of rain last night on Friday and so far no leaks. He also promptly emailed me all the pictures of my roof which I had requested him. I will continue to use this company and recommend them to friends and family. Thanks Chuck & Danny!

    ridge vent/attic ventilation

    Unfortunately we had to improve the ventilation in our attic. One of the improvements we did was have a ridge vent installed. Danny took the time to explain everything to us and answer all our questions. Chuck and his team were punctual and efficient. They went above and beyond what was required. Furthermore, they had to work in conjunction with another contractor we had on site and they were extremely professional and accommodating. Danny also connected us with another contractor to replace our soffits/fascia and eaves. And Danny came by a number of times to ensure that the work met our expectations. In summary: quality work and amazing customer service, all at a reasonable price! It was a pleasure working with Danny, Chuck and the rest of their team.

    Find and fixed numerous leaks

    The great reviews you see for Roofs on Homes are accurate: Danny and Chuck fully deserve their 'best of' rating. In the middle of winter I had major leak problems on a flat roof and after reading their good reviews on homestars called Roofs on Homes to look at it: They were punctual, efficient, within budget, relentless and successful in fixing my roof leak problems. From the outset Chuck left me no doubt he would find and fix the leaks. He did exactly as promised and found and stopped them all. He took the time to show me each problem and leak he found, even returning a number of times as the weather improved to confirm he had found all of them. I would highly recommend them and will definitely be using them when i need to replace my other flat roofs.

    New Roof

    We called a number of companies that got great reviews on Home Stars but when people came for an estimate, Danny and City 1 Roofing were by far the best. Other companies gave us a quote without going up on our roof and many didn't even call us back. Danny was very helpful, was able to answer all our questions, and helped us solve a ventilation problem. He showed up on our first meeting with examples of his products, copies of his insurance and his training that his company has received through the shingle company CertainTeed. I would not hesitate to recommend City 1 Roofing (Roofs on Homes) to anyone.

    Roof Replacement

    Danny and his team replaced our roof back in November 2012. I called several contractors to get quotes, and Danny stood out amongst the competition with his knowledge, patience and competitive pricing. Danny took his time and explained the process, materials used, gave us brochures/informaton to review and answered all of our questions. When the time came to get things started, the crew came bright and early, and went straight to work. Everyone was so friendly, polite and most importantly, hardworking. It took them just one day (a cold day too) to complete our entire roof. The crew cleaned up all mess and made sure no nails were left behind. We would like to thank Danny and his great team for a job well done! Definitely two thumbs up.
