Very satisfied. We were pleased with shingles provided, and they left property clean. They were courteous throughout the process, and provided local home samples so we could view before making decision.

I would highly recommend Danny and his team -they did an excellent job. I found Danny to be honest, reliable and an individual who takes great pride in his work - attending to all details and clean up. All service was performed as discussed and on time. My wife and I were really impressed with the clean up they performed at the end of the day. Danny demonstrated great customer service, product knowlege and most importantly- was fair.

I hired Danny and his team to replace the shingles on a house I had recently purchased. When he arrived (on time) to give me the quote, he was well dressed and very professional. The presentation he gave was quite involved. It included samples of all the tiles he offers, certificates of training, warrantee information and a wealth of knowledge from someone obviously knowledgable about his industry. On the day of the work, his team of 7 arrive at the house on time. They put down protective tarps all around the house to catch the nails. They even threw a tarp over my pool to make sure any nails were stopped before they ripped lining. The new shingles were installed. New venting installed and old venting removed. 2 skylights replaced, and 2 more removed and re-installed. My gutter cleaned. Everything cleaned up wonderfully (although I did find 1 nail last week under a bush). All that it one day. 7am to 7pm. After inspecting the roof the next day, I found one very small area around the chimney missing a spot of caulking. Danny was up on the roof within an hour to repair it. I waited quite awhile to write this review, because you can't tell how good a job was done on a roof right away. It has now been 2 months. Since then, there has been countless days of rain and a hurricane that went through here. I was just up on the roof and found everything in tact. Like 100kph winds never touched the house. Very impressive. Through all this rain in October, not one leak. Also impressive. I have to say, I am overall very happy with City 1 and their team. I would like to review this in 10 years time to see for sure how things have gone. But 2 months will have to do. I would hire them again for sure.

One sentence would describe my experience with Danny, Chuck and their crew and that is "Customer Service Par Excellence". I'm probably the fussiest customer they've ever experienced and I asked a million questions that Danny probably felt like he was going through the eye of a needle, but he soldiered on with me and won my admiration and respect. Before I hired them, I interviewed four other companies and none came close to the professionalism I encountered with Danny, Chuck and crew. Not to mention that I did my research on roof installations and would know if I was getting the wrong answers or if the person doesn't know what he's talking about, but it was almost as if Danny could read my mind and answered all my questions on point even before I could ask them. He even went up our attic to investigate if we had proper ventilation and called the guy that did our soffit before commencing the job. Actually, by the time I found Danny (as I chose to wait till I found the best), our roof was already leaking profusely and it was to rain hard again for several days. Danny took time out from an extremely hectic schedule to patch up the leak until they could be available to finally do the roof job as they were swamped on account of being so in demand and I understood that. He said if I could not wait, that they wouldn't mind if I hired another roofer. I said, no, I'll wait for the best! I also checked them out with the Better Business Bureau and they're equally considered on a 10 star rating there as compared to the other 4 companies I interviewed claiming good standing with BBB also, but turned out that they're not even registered. When they cleaned up after finishing the job, I was amazed because it was as if they were never there. Nearly no trace of trash or debris. They even protected my tomato plants and covered it up with tarp, even though its already past the season and I had no more need of them. If anyone wants honesty, integrity, professionalism, and the best value for their money, they should stop looking elsewhere and call Danny at City 1 Roof Works. If there was such a thing as 11 or 12 stars, they should get it, because they are way above 10 stars! All the best to a great company and great bunch of guys!

We needed a roofer to come and check out a serious leak and Danny returned my message within hours offering to come check it out without delay. We decided to replace the roof after discovering its lifespan was about done and Danny gave us a quote with clear details and recommendations based on our conversation. The job was done on time and to our entire satisfaction. I would not hesitate to recommend City 1 Roofworks.

Previous IKO shingles worn out 7 years before warranty. Checked all reviews for roofers in HomeStars and BBB, requested quotes from 3 companies. City 1 Roof Works not the least expensive but only company to actually go onto roof to examine it, plus were willing to discuss & negotiate which materials and venting most appropriate for my budget. Ended up with the CertainTeed Landmark and 5 step installation process with Maximum Ventilation vents. Installation crew, clean-up and courtesy were exceptional. Just hope the 15 year labour warrantee and the shingles 'limited lifetime/ 40 year prorated' warrantee are not needed.

I researched many companies and obtained three other quotes. City 1 Roof Works came in with the best price. Even though this was my first roofing experience, Danny was very patient in answering all my questions. He was a pleasure to deal with and was very knowledgeable and professional. The workers were punctual and courteous. The roof looks great and reflects a high quality of workmanship. I would highly recommend this company. Thanks Danny.

When my roof started leaking, I came to Homestars to find a roofing company. I got a few quotes, but I was most impressed by Danny who took the time to sit down and explain to me everything that I needed to know. He and his crew went above and beyond my expectations. Danny took the time to temporarily fix up my roof so it wouldn't leak while I was waiting for them to come and replace it. He also made sure some other minor repairs were done so my roof would be in optimal shape. They did a great clean up job too. I felt comfortable and confident with this company and would recommend them.
