    new roof installation

    From assessment through recommendations on choices to execution, Danny and crew did a superb job. What makes this team stand-out :- 1) Planning and proper cost-estimates: The only team (and I looked at 3 different providers) that took time to assess the roof's situation, prioritize the work that needs to be done , provide recommendations on a number of different options for shingles and a non-biased opinion on each To me planning is the most important step for a proper job and I appreciate that I was provided with an expert opinion while never feeling rushed or under pressure to sign-up 2) Follow-up and super customer service: I was provided with at least one call a week while waiting for the material to arrive, updates whilst the work was being done and upon work completion. 3) On-schedule: Danny and crew committed to a date and they followed-through - Danny this is a special thanks to your team for working on what was indeed a hot day to deliver. All in all a very positive experience and wife and I couldn't be happier with the quality of our new roof - thanks again guys and all the best

    New Roof

    Danny Aureia was very easy to reach via phone or email, quick to respond if he wasnt there, friendly, and flexible. His crew did a great job cleaning up afterwards and put everything back exactly the way they found it which I really appreciated. I have yet to find a nail on my property and the roof looks good.

    Shingle roof and small flat roof

    I highly recommend City 1 based on my experience. Every interaction with this company was totally pleasant and professional, right from the start. As this was my first roofing job, Danny encouraged me to research the options; he was respectful of the fact that a roof is a major decision and so he was patient and straightforward with answering all my concerns. I called several other companies and Danny was much better in terms of follow up, every step in the process. When I chose City 1, I felt confident that anyone as conscientious as Danny would also have a decent crew: I wasn't surprised when Chuck and the guys showed up early, worked seriously and cleaned up thoroughly. I really appreciated how Chuck took the time on site to explain details and answer questions. In all, dealing with City 1 gave me peace of mind, which I value as much as the actual roof work. For genuine customer service, these guys are top rank.

    Roofing

    I had my mother's roof replaced by this company and we were both very impressed with Danny and his team. I like the idea that it's a family run business & they don't sub contract out. I have no problem recommending this company for any of your roofing needs.

    Roofing Job

    I was very impressed with the reliability of this company. They did exactly what they said they would do in the time frame they stated that they would do it. They provided documentation up front regarding their WSIB and insurance coverage, as well as product and warranty information. They were professional in all aspects of their work and their clean up was so thorough my yard looked better after they left than before they came. I would definitely reccommend this company to my friends and family.

    Replace whole roof

    Very happy and impressed with the work Danny and his team provided. They showed up on time and had the roof completed in one day, they worked 12hrs to meet the dead line. I was impressed with the crew and was very happy with the effort they took to insure my yard and garage were protected by tarps and that they cleaned up leaving no trace of any roofing material / nails. 10 is well deserved for this company, they certainly earned it. Based on my experience I would highly recommend City 1 Roof

    Re-Roof

    I made the decision of getting City 1 to do my roof because of the work they did for my neighbors roof. I'm very pleased with the clean up and the professinalism of the crew Great job.

    Complete New Roof Architectural Shingles

    My old roof was to old and I needed a complete new roof as shingles were falling off from high winds. The roof being one of the most important things protecting the interior of the house I searched for the best company to install new architectural shingles. I got more than 11 different quotes from many different companies some from homestars and some from references, etc. I learned everything I could about roofing more than I needed to know and with all the quotes I got Danny at City1Roofworks offered the best possibility to get the best installtion at a competive price. Danny answered all my questions correctly many other companies did not. He provided the best product I picked at the competitive price to other companies. Also to note some of my shingles were missing and Danny came a few weeks before the installtion and repaired that area so no leaks could happen before he came to change the entire roof which I think was very important. Also one very important thing about roofing is his installers are all very experienced seasoned installers and he does not use subcontractors like many of the big name roofers which means you are going to get a much better installation. The actual installaion was very well done they cleaned up well all around the house and the roof.I would recommend Danny and his crew as I went through some of the biggest names from high price to low price roofers if you want the best product at a competive price with a great installation of experienced knowledgable installers you will come to the same choice of using Danny and his crew at City1 Roofworks. Also he knew how to properly vent the roof better than other companies as well.

    Roof Replacement

    Having had numerous quotes on replacing our roof Danny from City 1 Roof Works came to give us a quote. From the moment he walked into our home we felt at ease, he explained in great detail what would need to be done and gave us various options. He was very professional and honest. His prices were also very competitive. i cannot say enough about his workers, they were always so friendly, polite and professional. They cleaned up after each day and we were very impressed with the quality of work and we would highly recommend for anyone to use City 1 Roof Works

    New Roofs

    In May we contracted Roofs on Homes to do new roofs on 9 townhouses in our complex. I was very pleased with their work and would definitely recommend them. Their work and products were top-notch. We chose the Lifetime Certain-Teed shingles that Danny recommended to us, which has a terrific reputation and warranty. It is not only durable for high wind conditions but is also beautiful and classy looking. It is what is under the roof that is very important and sets Roofs on Homes apart from some competitively priced roofers (some of whom also did roofs in our complex). The vapour barrier along the roof lines and in the valleys, all metal valleys, replacement of all roof vents, woven valleys for extra protection and superior appearance. The crew was great. All the guys worked hard and did everything to protect property and do and extensive clean-up afterwards. Danny also followed up afterwards to make sure all owners were delighted with the work, before collecting payment. I personally feel that we got great quality and service at a fair price...less expensive than some companies but no corners cut and more expensive than some, but with tangible differences. A good roof is such an important protector for the house and contents and I wanted to feel confident that I would have the best to protect my home and contents. The work and materials are warranteed for life. We talked to a lot of roofers but Danny explained well all aspects of what was included – the products to be used, showing the materials and how the work would be done. Not only was it well executed but it was also done in a timely manner. I found Roofs on Homes through HomeStars as his company was rated as Best of 2011 and it made them stand out among the many companies that are out there. Danny is a co-owner, he came to each townhouse to give personal quotes, and also visited the site during the work. I would also vote for them as Best of 2012 and would not be surprised if they achieve the honour again...they work hard for it!
