    Furnace and A/C Replacement

This is the second time I have used Convertible. In this case we were replacing furnace and air conditioner, plus humidifier, chimney liner. Up front service, including proper paperwork for grant applications, and installation were excellent. Marnie also pointed out that our venting for our gas water heater did not meet code requirements (no chimney liner) so that was added to the work. The fellows finished the job in one day though it took them til mid evening to complete it. We bought 'brand name' equipment from American Standard, including a furnace with a 95% efficiency rating. Several thousand cheaper than the Lennox quote we got, and with good warranty. Convertilbe also offers parts and labour service for 10 years if you have them do your annual maintenance. Any why wouldn't you? So far, no issues with the equipment, tho the A/C has yet to be tested.

Convert 30 year old electric furnace to gas furnace and install new air conditioning

We went to the Home Show and reviewed 6-7 companies and received quotes from 4 companies. We were impressed from the very start with Marnie Amodeo, the General Manager of Convertible who came to our condominium townhouse to give us a free estimate. I can say only great things about the whole process with Convertible and we are so glad that we chose this company to do our conversion for us. They were punctual, courteous, extremely knowledgeable and professional in every way. They completed the work as promised, removed the old furnace, and cleaned up after the work was completed. I would highly recommend this company. Excellent service! Bill

    Furnace

They installed a new high energy efficient furnace and Marny came out to do the initial consultation and she was very helpful. Even to this day I can call Convertible and she's very honest and helpful in giving me information. The installers were excellent.

2.5 ton American Standard Air Conditioner

The product was better than competitively priced and their workmanship was superior. They arrived when promised removed all of the old debris and cleaned up after themselves. We were also impressed with the estimate and diagnostic visit. Overall we were very impressed with the entire project.

Replace oil with gas furnace & new tankless water heater

We had Convertible and a number of other HVAC suppliers come in to quote on replacing the oil furnace with gas in an older home. Marnie offered a great price, valuable advice on govt rebates and backed it all up with amazing customer service, excellent products and a fantastic installation team. Our gas inspector even commented on the high quality of the installation job. Way to go Kamil and James!! We have recommended Marnie and Convertible to a number of friends already and will continue to do so.

    Furnace replacement

I had to replace my dying 13 year old furnace a month ago and I came across this great company. I got to deal with Marnie, the General Manager, and the experience was very pleasant. I had no heat in the house and she managed to pay me a visit on the same day. The deal she presented me with was the best in town (I had called half a dozen companies before) price-wise and warranty-wise. and I got my Goodman 95%-efficient w/ DC motor & Dual-stage installed the following day! Thanks Marnie Emmanuel

    Central Air Conditioner

Convertible Heating and Air gave me a great quote and did a super job installing my American Standard Central Air Conditioner. They were honest and direct about prices and information. They did the job in about 3 hours and left no mess.

Conversion from oil to gas including a new furance, air conditioner and tankless water heater

I live in an older home in Toronto and needed to replace my oil tank and furnace and convert to gas. A friend had used Convertible Heating and Air to replace a furnace and she recommended them to me. Convertible made this transition from oil to gas easy. They were reasonably priced, friendly, helpful and the work they did was of high quality. They workers were professional and highly knowledgable and did good work because that's who they are and they wouldn't have it any other way. This is a family owned business and it was a pleasure to work with them. When the gas inspector came to review the work before turning on the gas he remarked "these guys did a really good job. Some will just do what's easiest but you can tell these guys took care." I highly recommend this company.

    Furnace, Waterless Tank

Very satisfied. More than satisfied in fact. Workmanship was absoltulely incredible. They helped me immensely through the Eco-energy audit to satisfaction in installation. I cannot endorse Convertible Heating & Air Conditioning Inc. enough. Words fail me for their professional competency. Truly exemplary and exceptional.

    Furnace & A/C replacement

Convertible was the lowest of 4 quotes I received, and was also recommended by a family member. The salesman was knowledgable and easy to deal with. They installed a hi-eff American Standard furnace and 14 SEER Goodman A/C. The two installers did an OK job, but I had to talk them into installing the intake pipe as specified in the contract. It should have been no big deal - they would have had to replace the existing exhaust anyways with the "white" PVC pipe. Instead they used the old exhaust as the new intake. The thermostat supplied was for a single stage burner (the furnace has a 2-stage) and although this is not really a big deal when I called later they wanted big bucks to upgrade, with trade. I bought my own 2-stage thermo from Lowes for less. They did an OK job for a good price, it's been running well for a year now, but I feel a bit slighted they tried to save $50 on the thermostat and extra work on the intake vent. Insist on a 2-stage heat thermo - your furnace will warm your house faster when cranking the heat.
