This is the second time we have used AllMax for our pre-purchase home inspection. We were so pleased with our first experience that when it came time to purchase a new home we didn't hesitate to call them. Alan was very thorough and noticed even the smallest issues as well as bigger ones. The report he sent once the inspection was completed was very detailed and included recommendations on how to resolve all issues. We will definitely be using him on our next purchase.

Very pleased with the home inspection service provided! Alan was knowledgeable and professional from start to finish. We began with a thorough walk around outside the house, where he pointed out many issues to be aware of and their level of severity. One area of particular concern to me was the visible cracks in the bricks on both sides of the house. He explained that these were mostly cosmetic, could be fixed with some professional mason work and would not affect the structure of the house. He also went the extra mile to provide an additional detailed written explanation of these cracks to ease our concerns. His knowledge was also impressive when it came to the older (original) furnace that the house was equipped with where he recognized the model/series right away and knew about its reputation for a long life. Overall I would highly recommend AllMax Home Inspection and Alan for anyone who is looking for a quality inspection!

We recently used AllMax for our home inspection. Alan was reasonable, professional and knowledgable. Our new home is quite old and the sellers did not initially tell us about several issues with the home. Alan did a thorough assessment and was able to pinpoint the issues, which ultimately got the sellers to lower their price. We have 2 young kids and a busy schedule and I also really liked that Alan was flexible re: when we needed to meet with him at the new house. We had many questions and he patiently answered all of them without making us feel bad. He was a pleasure to work with and I would absolutely use him again.

Excellent service! I had an unfortunate leak in my basement that started to grow mold. I needed to see how bad the situation was and how I can quickly resolve the problem. Alan was amazing to deal with. Courteous, responsive and extremely professional. Results came back right away followed by a simple scope of work on how to remedy the problem effectively and quickly.
