We were thoroughly pleased with the amount of knowledge and expertise that Alan Glushko from Allmax Home Inspection & Property Services has to offer. His level of professionalism and thoroughness is beyond what we expected and completely comforting with the undertaking and gravity of what a home inspection typically means. Alan took the time to not only explain any and all findings, but was more than patient in answering any questions that we had. He eliminated any overwhelming feelings that we had going into the home inspection and in fact allowed us to feel empowered with the amount of knowledge we gained from our home inspection. I bought a brand new house from builder. The house had quite a few visible defects for me, not a specialist. I found AllMax Home Inspection online, called, and reached Alan Glushko. Alan was very accommodating for the appointment time. He came to my house on Saturday morning that was very convenient for me. Alan took his time to check everything, found 16 exterior&interior issues. I would never be able to find defects that Alan discovered. Within a few days after inspection, Alan sent me a report that I had to submit to Tarion with detail instructions on “how to submit” and a REMINDER! of the dead line for report submission. It was excellent service. I highly recommend to deal Alan Glushko if you want your home to be fee of worries.

After five years in our 140-year-old house, we knew there was a lot of work to be done. We were facing mold issues, basement leaks, structural issues and more. We asked Alan to do a home inspection with mold and asbestos testing, plus thermal imaging, to help us get a full picture of what we were facing. He did an excellent job explaining the issues and what corrective measures were needed. He really helped us prioritize projects, and get a rough sense of cost. There is a lot to do, but I am way less stressed about it all. I wish I had used him before we bought!

I would recommend Allmax and Certified Home & Mold Inspector, Certified Energy Inspector, Mr. Alan Glushko to anyone I know who suspects an air quality issue & wants or requires testing. The townhouse complex where I reside in Oshawa, Ontario was sold in January or February 2015. The tenants in the unit attached to mine moved out around the same time & the new owner began MAJOR renovations. My adult daughter & I began getting ill around the 3rd week in February. No one else lives here. By March, I finally suspected mold was the issue (we had been exposed before & had the exact same symptoms). My landlord did a test on March 20th & REFUSES to release the results to me so I was forced to pay for my own test & contracted Allmax per a recommendation by Canada Restoration. Allmax was QUICK to respond to my request. Alan Glushko called me back immediately & gave me an appointment for THREE working days later. I was amazed & grateful for such a timely response! Alan performed an air quality test in our basement & bathroom (our allergic reactions are beyond severe in the bathroom) & the tests found "dramatically elevated levels of mold". One type is considered "toxic" & should NEVER be found indoors (according to the report) & it was found in the bathroom! Alan was on time & efficient. He also got the test results back in time for my Landlord Tenant Board Hearing. Our landlord has let us live here knowing the severity of the issue & our illness. Alan gave terrific & reasonable recommendations (remove it "immediately"). Most importantly, Alan actually took the time AFTER his work day to call me and go through his findings with me in "layman terms". He was professional & compassionate & we will be forever grateful to him & Allmax. Oshawa has no by-laws regarding mold & the Health Department does NOT perform air quality tests for mold. The Landlord Tenant Board has NO authority to compel the landlord to release their test results. Allmax's/Alan's inspection & report has probably saved our lives. I am not being dramatic. Mold can be lethal. We can now seek the appropriate medical attention & request that the Board grant our request for necessary repairs to resolve this dangerous matter immediately. Although both my daughter & I are on fixed incomes due to disabilities, this objective inspection was worth every single nickel. I found their fees VERY reasonable & you cannot put a price on your health! I was quoted twice what I paid by other companies & Allmax is rated 9.9/10 and the others were rated much lower. The level of expertise & knowledge when you contract Allmax is unbelievable. Thank you Allmax and THANK YOU ALAN! You provide a vital service & you do it with proficiency, efficiency & compassion. We were really happy with Alan Glushko's inspection. He was extremely honest and thorough, and provided insight into the house that we were not aware of before. Furthermore, he provides us with useful suggestions on what to do with the things he identified. In addition, the report he prepared is one of the best we have seen, detailed with pictures taken and honest opinions. I feel lucky that we have sought for his opinion, as he was professional, detail oriented and honest. Very pleasant to work with and I will recommend to other people.

Alan provided a Home Inspection on our home before we listed the property. I have used 2 other home inspectors previously but Alan is by far the the best of the bunch. He got back to us in a few hours after our initially inquiry. The inspection was thorough and very detailed. Buyers were very impressed with his report as were the Realtors.
