Michael made himself available to us to do a very last minute home inspection on a house we were in the process of purchasing. The inspection was done the same day, within 2-3 hours of our initial contact with AllMax. Michael was very thorough and careful to explain everything he was doing in detail to us. Overall, we were very pleased with this inspection.

Alan from AllMax recently performance a home inspection for a house I was putting an offer on in Newmarket. He was extremely helpful, friendly and thorough. Alan took the time to explain everything was doing and answered any questions I had in layman terms. The offer was accepted, with a condition to repair the 1 major issue that Alan found. He provided a detailed report only a couple hours after the inspection was completed. I would absolutely recommend Alan/AllMax for anyone looking for a home inspector.

We were referred to Alan from our agent with whom we sold and bought a new place. I was slightly skeptical because of this, but Alan turned out to be extremely thorough, very honest and trustworthy as well as patient in the process of conducting our inspection. A lot of items required second and third explanations and Alan didn't mind taking us through them, understanding that although this information is second nature to him, it's sometimes entirely new to his clients. The documentation Alan provided was also very convenient in the form of a pdf document which we can easily refer back to and search on quickly. As well, recently, 3 months after our inspection, I had some questions about what Alan discovered at our home, and not only did he quickly respond, he was also able to recall our issues and provide additional advise to me. I really appreciate this kind of service and can highly recommend using Alan for home inspections.

Alan was very upfront and gave us the good and the bad. He was very clear about all the things that would need work and major work done. He was very efficient and informative, I narrowly escaped from buying a 'aesthetic' fixer upper house. Because at the end of the day, although it looked 'pretty' there was still quite a bit work that would have been required had we bought the house. Available on a really short notice and was able to work out a reasonable time to do the inspection. Going through the inspection was a breeze. Alan was really thorough and efficient at the same time. Explained the attributes of the house quite well in simple language. Gave recommendations that are reasonable. Report was delivered in easily retrievable and timely manner. I paid Alan approx 500 for an inspection and it made me almost $7000 in savings off the purchase price....I don't think what I say from here can top that opening other than Alan is very good at what he does. I am a multi-property owner and used to doing my own inspections but there was something in particular out of my expertise I was looking to inspect for after my offer was conditionally accepted. He was extremely thorough and found things I would have never thought to look for. The knowledge transfer to me alone was worth the price as I learned a heck of a lot from the inpection - and as a master electrician I thought I has seen it all. He is great professional and I would use him again exclusively.
