If I could give 11 stars, I would. Alan performed a home inspection yesterday on a house in Ajax that my fiancé and I were buying. Alan was a referral from our realtor, and when he was doing the inspection it was easy to see why. We had a short window to waive the home inspection clause, and lucky for us Alan was available on our preferred time and date. Alan was punctual, extremely thorough and professional. He answered all of our questions. He led us and our realtor around as he inspected everything, pointing out to us what was in good shape and what needed attention. He took several pictures. Within a few hours of completing the inspection (which was in the late afternoon), he emailed a thorough report to me with pictures and details. His inspection ensured we were buying a good house, and flagged the issues we needed to take care of and when. The price was extremely fair, even a deal for the level of thoroughness and detail we received. The price I paid included the thermal camera imaging upgrade -- I recommend that for anyone needing an inspection. If I ever need another inspection, I will call Alan. If any of my friends need an inspection, I'll tell them Alan is their man. Thank you, Alan!

On March 23rd we had a property inspection performed by Michael Holley and were truly impressed with his vast knowledge of homes built in the Toronto area. The pre-purchase home inspection was performed with the upmost precision to details and his pleasantry when providing further explanations to our vast list of questions was greatly appreciated. He was able to direct us to certified professionals to further get quotes on cost of repairs in order for us to make a better educated decision of pursuing the purchase of this house. I’m much more confident with what is urgently needed to be repaired and how to prioritize and budget ourselves in order to repair the remainder of the items within the next few years. All of the recommendations, safety concerns are well noted with pictures in the detailed home inspection report that Michael meticulously created for the property. It is a daunting challenge for anyone who is purchasing a new home but when you go with AllMax Home Inspection they provide you with a full detailed checkup of the house that you’re hoping to make into a home. I wouldn’t ever hesitate to recommend this company to anyone. Thanks Alan and Michael for everything!!

I called Allmax, the friday before I need my inspection completed. The inspector set a convenient monday appointment. During the appointment the Inspector walked me through everything. He took the time to point out things that were good and discussed how to maintain and he pointed out problem areas and discussed options for repair. I walked away from the inspection feeling well informed and confident in my purchase. We even looked for potential heat loss and potential water leaks with a thermal camera. I would recommed Allmax to others.

Made me feel comfortable about the house i bought. Gave me good peace of mind. With myself being in construction i knew the inspector knew what he was talking about. Would recommend this company to others.

We had a pre –purchase inspection with Alan and it went great. He was very thorough and outlined any improvements that we would need to make and pointed out items that would need to replaced in our new home. After the home inspection, we purchased the property with peace of mind. We were extremely happy with the process and would definitely recommend Allmax to other folks.

We hired Alan for the pre-purchase home inspection and he is great to work with - arrives on time, detail oriented, explains things well and very thorough. Alan is very knowledgeable and the report provided at the end was great too! The only nitpick I had was he answered many phone calls during the inspection which could be distracting when you're in a conversation about a potential issue.

Alan did a great job in doing our home inspection for the home that we purchased. He was full of knowledge and very thorough in his work. He took the time to explain and point out things that we could have easily missed.

We chose AllMax based on their Homestars rating and reviews. In the last week we have had Alan come and do two home inspections for us. Alan is efficient and thorough. Alan found a multitude of problems in the first home which allowed us to walk away from that deal, and a week later, he found mold in the second house we were looking at. Alan has a keen knowledge and explains potential outcomes and costs of findings. We have used other inspection companies in the past (3 times) and they were not up to standard after meeting Alan. Alan offers thermal imaging which is also a nice to have during an inspection to see any potential heat loss points. All in all we highly recommend AllMax and Alan. We will work with Alan again on house number 3 in the very near future!

I was lucky enough to have Alan from AllMax Home Inspection conduct a Pre-Purchase home inspection for me. He was unbelievably thorough and incredibly patient while he walked around and explained everything he observed in great detail! He was somehow able to hoist himself through a crazy attic entrance and uncovered an issue that could have created a much bigger problem if it wasn't fixed. I would recommend Alan to anyone who needs to have a home inspection completed. He is wonderful - reliable, truly knows his stuff and a pleasure to deal with!

I just want to write a quick review as a token of my appreciation to AllMax Home Inspection for a recent home inspection. Alan took the time to walk me through exactly how he planned to inspect the home and was very patient with my many, many questions. As a first time home buyer, the experience was very educational for me and left feeling much more at ease with the house I eventually did purchase.
