    Core aeration

    Prepaid for 2015. No show! Called several times and was promised someone would come out, still waiting June 4 2015! Called today and was immediately told they would refund as they cannot guarantee anyone would show up. It will take 4-6 weeks to get a refund. When I voiced my opinion there was no apology. When I asked why the previous customer service officers did not ensure that someone would come out, I was told that they can't guarantee that someone would show up they can only put in the request. I was told that they can keep me on the list as I was no.19 which apparently is good?! But still no guarantee that they will make it to this area this season. DONOT USE THIS COMPANY, ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY THEY DO NOT SHOW UP!!!!

    Lawn Maintenance

    Was approached by door to door salesman to aerated my front lawn. I agreed to 30.00. Then wanted to see my back yard - I told him that I was rototilling it this year as I had so many weeds and wanted to start fresh with new grass. The salesman convinced me that I wouldn't need to do this as the Property Stars plan consisted of aeration, fertilisation and overseeding and the grass seed used would make a thick lawn and choke out the weeds. I was hesitant but he was very convincing so I went ahead (against my better judgement) and paid $252.00 up front. I watched while this young man aerated my front and back lawn - going over the back twice - and was told someone would be back in approx 2 weeks to fertilize and overseed. Well, yes they did come back while I was out but my husband was home and he said they had finished the job in about 5 mins and had nearly left by the time he managed to get outside and hand the phone over to the worker so I could speak to him to ensure that he had overseeded the back yard because of the weeds, and was the fertilizer safe for my dog and do they guarantee their work... answer was yes to all. When I got home and checked the back I could hardly see any grass seeds at all.. especially in the brown spots I could see none. I tried calling them to let them know that my lawn had definitely not been overseeded and it would be hard to find any seeds at all even with a magnify glass. Well guess what... as per all the other complaints... no answer after repeatedly calling for several days. As they have a location on Lanark Drive in Hamilton I decided to drive down there. All doors were locked and no answer when I knocked even though there was a handful of cars out front. This place is a dump.. garbage all around, especially round the back, and the landscaping out front was also a mess... it looked like a wasteland with overgrown grass full of weeds - a great testimony as to what this company is really all about. They are supposed to be coming back again in July for another overseeding but not one blade of grass has grown from this past visit about three weeks ago. So I am going ahead with my original plan to do the job myself and write off the 252.00 paid to these guys. I wish I had read all the reviews first and checked the BBB. as they have an "Alert" against this company. Buyer beware!

    Aeration

    Prepaid in Jan. NO SHOW! Have left several messages no one will reply.Probably wont hear from them until next year when they will be looking for another prepayment.HA!!! At least they could answer our calls.

    lawn services

    prepaid for lawn care package in February. Had to call office numerous times as no ones answers the phone.Finally connected with the accounting department to voice concerns that no services have been rendered.This was beginning of May and I was told it was still early. That was one week ago and it is now almost mid May and no airation done let alone any seeding or weed control

    Lawn Maintenance

    I received a call in January to book lawn aeration to be done later in the year, I paid for the service at the time of booking. The job was performed in March, I was not home at the time the job was done. My daughter was home and was asked to pay, she was not aware I had prepaid. On March 24th I sent my first email with copies of the cancelled cheque and credit card statement attached . I have sent many emails and made several phone calls, I was told Veda would be contacting me. 6 weeks later and I have yet to receive any communication or refund. They had no problem telling the employee what job to do and where to do it, you would think they could also inform him the job had been paid. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone,

    aeration

    The contractor promised to aerate the side, front and boulevard and was paid before my parents ( seniors) went to church. Only a small portion of the front lawn was done and a mess was left on driveway. The rest of the areas were ignored and a call to the company came to no avail. A rip off especially to seniors who put there trust in this company.

    Aeration

    I read the reviews and was skeptical. However the gentlemen that performed the service did a professional job for a good price. I did not experience any of the negative outcomes as other people have written about. I still have to turn on the in ground sprinklers, but I am not too concerned as they only went 2.5 inches deep and if they hit a line it is the sprinkler company's fault not Canadian Property Stars. The reason I haven't given them a 10 is that I don't have a complete view on the service until I turn on my sprinklers.

    Core aeration and window cleaning

    Two stikes and they're out. My first experience was the window cleaning. The young guy dimantled our sprinkler system in order to get access to water for his equipment, and then left it dismantled and left - I didn't notice until a day or two later. Second service was core aeration. Claimed to have done thousands of lawns, but It was obvious he didn't kow how to operate the equipment, and made a mess of the lawn. After dealing with this companies representatives twice now, it appears to me they train them in how to convince and negotiate to land the business, but I serioiusly question they are trained on the equipment properly. Also, in the many years they have been coming around, I have never seen the same person twice. My recomendation is don't listen to the hype and patter. If you want a sevice like window cleaning, or lawn maintenance, go to a reputable provider in your area - you may pay more, but you are far more likely to get an acceptable outcome than you will with these kids.

    Driveway Sealing

    I had this company canvas my area this past August and decided to get the driveway Sealed before the winter. The young guy who did our driveway was very nice. The sealant used is good and there is good coverage BUT he was messy with the application and managed to get some of the black spray on the border concrete, my fence and also on the bottom of my side door. Price was good But in future I would ask to have someone with more experience to do the application so that it is not so sloppy.

    Driveway sealing

    A couple of weeks ago they sealed my driveway, however the black spray went on my interlock bricks. We called them to have our bricks cleaned but when they came they re-sprayed the driveway instead. We were not home at the time. It looks like they tried to clean the bricks but made a much bigger mess. We made three more calls to Canadian Property Stars to come out and clean the sprayed bricks but no return call was made. I will Never Again use CPS Al from Whitby, Ontario
