    window washing

    I thought Ryan did a fantastic job of cleaning our windows. He was going door to door and was very professional and polite, He told me that he and his crew were in our neighbourhood but I was the first house on the street so he would give me a discount. It could have been a sales upsell, but I needed my windows cleaned and have been thinking of it for awhile. He had his cart and filters ready to go. He counted my windows (frame to frame, so each pane of glass is counted separately in a divided window). It was more than I've paid before and it was only for the outside, but our area is new construction so they were DIRTY!! I popped out the screens from the basement windows and left them in the wells. Ryan cleaned all the screens as well and popped them back in for me. They are sparkling clean and I didn't have to struggle with a 15 foot ladder, a squeegee and a bucket of water in the 30 degree heat. I'm very pleased and hope Ryan comes back this fall or next year to do it again. Money well spent, I think. I didn't pay until he was completed and he said that if any looked streaky after they had dried to call and he would come back and re-do them. Some of the comments prior to mine are pretty harsh. My experience with this company was great! Maybe Ryan was the right guy for the job.

    Window Washing

    They suck! Their window washing team was walking from door to door offering to wash our windows. We agreed to have them come and wash them for $240, a month before the service they charged the money, two weeks before the service I called them multiple times to cancel the service as I was no longer interested. They told me the service was cancelled and all the money would be returned. Finally after a week I called asking where the money was, they told me they can't return the money as the service was 'pre-paid' and refuse to do the service as it was cancelled. Now here I am, $240 poorer but much wiser. Never do business with this company!

    Core Aeration

    I used them last year with no issues. This year they phoned in early spring to see if I wanted to book, I gave them a clear and definite NO, since we were building a garage and landscaping this summer, so the grass will be torn up, and I'm not going to pay for maintenance on grass that's going to disappear soon. A couple months later they come and do my yard while I'm at work, and leave an invoice. Found out from a neighbour with a similar sounding address that they did half of his yard before he caught them and told them they had the wrong address. They have a number on the invoice to call in the case you didn't ask for the work, so I call that number, talk to a nice lady, and am assured that this will be removed. Now, a month later, I'm getting called because I'm in arrears with them. Verrry shady business practices, if you ask me.

    lawn aeration

    Last year, an enterprising young man came to our neighbourhood and he aerated the little backyard. This year, I got a phone call asking if I would like it done again this year, which I did. I was requested to pay in advance and this time tax was being added on to the amount I paid last year. I said I would pay when the job was done. I was called in advance, but when I came home in the evening, only the city-owned boulevard was aerated. My front yard is not lawn. My backyard was not touched. When I called, I was told that a manager would be out in 2-3 weeks. Instead, I received a call telling me I was in arrears. When I called back, I was told that the program has wrapped up for this season and would I pay half the cost! They didn't do anything. Last year, I was happy with the work. This year, they seem to be disorganized and unable to meet the customer's needs. Besides no work being done and me being asked to pay, everyone one I spoke to was courteous and professional.

    Lawn Aeration

    They've aerated our lawn three years in a row. The first time they came to the door drumming up business, and now they call a few months in advance, then again closer to the date, to say they'll be coming back. I think the service is fine & they seem to do a good job, although our lawn is tiny and $45 +tax seems like a lot of money for a job that takes about 10 minutes. We won't be getting it done next year but that's because you don't need your lawn aerated every year.

Keep in mind, aerating your lawn gives your grass the kickstart it needs to get growing after our harsh winters! After lying dormant under heavy snow, a spring-time aeration will allow moisture, oxygen and nutrients to get into your root system to help your grass in the new growth season!

    Core Aeration

    Solicited at the door, and advised neighbour had employed them. Made promises of 2-3 trips around where thatch was the heaviest. Practically ran around the property and did not cover all the area, patches missed, the machine was constantly up in the air on one side or the other as turned round the lot, so depth unequal and spots hardly done on curves. Did not cover heavy thatched areas 2 or 3 times. When advised not happy and didn't do as promised, actually pretended he had done as promised, even when I told him I had watched his performance. Couldn't what to get rid of this contractor. My recommendation for their use would be negative to anyone. Don't want to see this contractor again. Would hope the Company would send someone else to finish job properly. If not I will write a further review about the Company standing behind its service.

    lawn service

    I have used the service for spring lawn aeration in the past. This year, weeks in advance I agree to lawn service. I negotiated a set price. About 5 days prior to service they confirmed that I still wanted the service. I confirmed the negotiated price and confirmed it was "all in" not tax on top. They agreed. Once serviced completed. The price negotiated was less than the price charged. WATCH OUT!

    Aeration

    He was fast, professional, and clean. He was knowledgeable about lawn care and provided good advice about products and services that would enhance my lawn's health and appearance. Excellent work!!

    Aeration

    Canadian Property Stars came to aerate our lawn April 19,2014, as they have for the past two years. They called the day before they came and left a message stating they will be coming the next day. We called back later that day to tell them not to come yet as we still had big patches of snow and ice on our lawn. They came to aerate anyways missing those big snow covered areas. They completely missed aerating one full side of our lawn in the front yard as well as our dog run in our back yard. The areas they did do we're done terribly as they missed fair sized pieces on our lawn here and there in our back yard. I would recommend choosing a better company who knows what they are doing to do your lawn.

    Lawn Aeration

    I agreed to have Canadian Property Stars aerate my lawn as they had done it in the past and it was a decent job. This time, however, they showed up to do the job when half my lawn was still covered in snow! I asked them to come back once the snow was melted, but came home later in the day to see that they just went ahead and did it anyway. Of course big pieces of lawn are not aerated. Stay away - these guys don't know what they're doing!
