    Window cleaning

    They came door to door cleaning windows. We had them clean ours. Their 'clean to fame' so to speak, was they do not climb on the roofs to clean the windows just spray and wash with mineral free water, therefore no streaks. Well, watching them clean a two story window from the ground didnt look very good. There were many spots with dirt build up that didnt get tonight's by there cleaner. And as soon as it rained again, the spots were back! So we paid $169 for 3 days of clean windows! Yikes!!

    Gutter Cleaning

    They have no proper equipment to clean gutters. They use a brush on a pole with 2 streams of filtered water coming out of it meant to clean windows to try to clean gutters. It only works on a very short height pole and on a longer pole they have no control over and no power to clean gutters. They will con you with begging for a job or other clearly rehearsed sales tactics but cannot deliver what they sell. Don't use them!

    Hello Alicja, thank you for your review. Our Cleaning services have always been 100% safety oriented. We perform exterior cleaning services. Our workers are not equipped with ladders as this is a liability to both them and the homeowner. The service is designed for the workers to stay on the ground which is why they use the telescopic poles to perform the work. Therefore, when it comes to gutters, they are cleaning the exterior of the object.

    Window Washing

    The two older gentleman that came to my door offering a window washing service were very polite and sincere. Although they used a standard sales pitch, it did not come across as phoney and I did need my windows cleaned, having never done them before in the 8 years I've lived in the home. I used the excuse of having to call my husband for approval, I went on line to look up Property Stars and came across some negative and some positive reviews. Most of the negatives seemed to be from employees who felt they were treated poorly by the company or from those receiving landscaping type services. The window washing reviews seemed to be mostly positive and the price was agreeable, so I decided to give them a chance. They worked diligently and did a great job. I asked them how they liked working for the company, and they were both very enthusiastic. They scrubbed so hard that at one point, they had to call for a replacement brush at the end of their wand because of all of the spider web and other insect material around some of my windows that had really gotten out of hand! After inspecting the work, I told them to feel free to tell the other residents in the neighbourhood that I was happy with their service. Despite some of the other negatives reported on this page, my experience was quite the opposite.

    Window washing

    A young guy named Fabian came to the door with an obviously rehearsed sales pitch, but was not pushy and had a good demeanour. I needed my windows washed and he quoted me $169 for the job. Everything went very smoothly and he did a great job. He even had the common sense to move outdoor pillows, etc out of the way so as not to make them wet. I was very happy with everything. My only hesitancy in recommending this company is that they seem to have quite the rep for being bad employers, promising all sorts of things to potential employees that just don't pan out for them. Otherwise, I was very happy with the work I got done with Fabian.

    lawn Aeration

    I get my lawn done every year. This year I was out when the people showed up and asked my daughter if she wanted the lawn aerated. Thinking that she would help me by getting it done, she gave the go ahead. When done the girl came to the door and was paid cash. When I arrived home I saw that the lawn had been done and began to look it over. Not only was it a very poor job but half of it was missed. My wife had watched the girl trying to push the machine around and at one time thought that she might have a heart attack as she was having trouble with the slope of our lawn. We now have received a bill saying that it was overdue and never paid. My wife witnessed my daughter paying the bill by cash. From now on we will deal with a more reputable firm.

    Lawn Aeration

    I pre-arranged for Canadian Property Stars to Aerate my lawn as I had been happy in the past. However, this time they only did half of my lawn and after repeated attempts to contact them, they never responded nor did they come and complete the work. They were even in my neighbourhood shortly afterward and still didn't complete the work. I would not recommend using this company on a prearranged basis as they won't let you know when they are coming and if you are not there only do a partial job.

    window washing

    These guys had a hard sell approach which should have tipped me off. Will NOT be getting this company in the future. They basically sprayed de-ionized water, whatever that means, on my windows and took my money! They said the windows were to air dry, but there were still streaks and spots left behind. Poor way of doing windows in my opinion. I repeat, DON'T USE THIS COMPANY! I feel ripped off. Surrey, BC

    airation

    On Sunday April 21 a person frrom the Canadian property stars came to my door and talked me into getting both our yards airated for a reduced price of 60.00. The star didn't explain that it would reduce the quality of the work to be done. The star missed a lot of the grass, ploughed through the swale where the sump drained tearing up the sod, (clearly to wet ) the star should have seen that. Then the star smashed into the outlet post for the swimming pool pump snapping it off in the ground.The star didn't tell me. What a deal !! I tried to email a complaint to head office on the Star's web sight but both attemps said my email address was invalid and erased my complaint ( imagine that ) so I called, spoke to a head office star and explained the situation, no call back. It's not worth having them on the property.Bruce Keswick On.

    Lawn Aeration

    A "technician", came to our door, and was in the area, asked us if we would like our lawn aerated. I told my husband maybe we should think about it, as they were charging 100.00, and our lawn is very small. The "technician" insisted that there prices were the best and you couldn't rent a machine for that. He proceeded to aerate our lawn, but stopped because he wanted to see if the neighbours were home so he could aerate their lawn. Once he got in touch with them, he returned to finish the job. He aerated the lawn very fast, and did a very poor job. I called some local businesses in Winnipeg, that deal with aerator rentals, and one company told me they charged $30.00 for 4 hours, and $45.00 for 8. Go figure! Another was $50.00 and they do the aeration for you! When I emailed the company to tell them about their service and prices, all I received was a polite, "the prices suit your lot size". I will never deal with this company again. The "technician" wasn't truthfull and badgered us into a crummy deal. Not a good company to deal with. Definitely shop around before you let someone aerate for that price!!

    Backyard Sprinkler system

    Got my backyard updated with a Orbit sprinkler system. The installation was conducted by property stars. The service was good and the sprinkler system works really well. I would recommend it to a friend

These services are aeration, driveway sealing, window washing and pressure cleaning and fertilizing and seeding program. Our company does not install sprinkler systems, but we are glad you are pleased with the company that did do the work!
