    Pre-purchase Home Inspection

    I needed a home inspector as early as next day. Had terrible experience in the past with home inspectors and was skeptical but needed one nevertheless. Took a gamble and booked 4Sight Inspections for Thursday Oct 15 2PM. First impression of Steve was good. He inspected the house in a methodological way. Starting with exterior, basement, main floor, 2nd floor, attic, roof and finish it with a thermal imaging scan. It took nearly 3 hours to complete the whole inspection. Very detailed work. This is my second time using home inspection from homestar and so far, this company is the best one. This company is a 2-person operation so you know they care about quality workmanship. The rate is reasonable for the amount of time and the quality of the report is amazing. My report is 79 pages long.

    Home Inspection

    At first I was hesitant to book a home inspection considering the age of the house was less than 3 years. I'm glad I did after seeing how thorough the inspector was going through the house. Steve took the time to make sure nothing was overlooked and that my new home wouldn't come with any unexpected repairs. The infra-red scanner was pretty cool too! It was good to see that the home was well insulated. When I went through the report it made me feel even better about the purchase I has made. In my opinion it was well worth the cost ...even on a newer home.

    Drazen, most of my clients say the same thing after they see the Infrared Camera in action, some even want to buy a unit after they see all the cool things revealed by the camera. The age of the home should not be relevant when the question is asked by your realtor "Do you want the home inspected?". I once inspected a custom built home still in possession by the builder. All the outlets on the left side of the home were wired incorrectly. Without the inspection my clients would have bought a home with potential problems without the slightest clue. The cost of a home inspection is really nothing when you compare it with potential structural repairs that could cost $50-120K. I appreciate your review, it means a lot to other readers.     New Home Inspection

    I was unsure of what to expect with a home inspection service, but Steve assured me during my phone call to make this appointment, that his company 4Sight Home Inspections would perform a thorough and complete report that we'd be pleased with. From the moment that Steve arrived right on schedule and greeted my husband and me, I knew he was going to be a pleasure to work with. He was personable, pleasant and 100% present in the task at hand. Steve had my husband follow him around and answered Glen's questions and pointed out and explained in detail every single finding of importance (and then some). What a true professional and competent yet friendly inspector - always had a smile on his face when speaking with us. Steve let us know every detail in the report from the exterior wall dryer vent, to the in operation of an internal dimmer switch, to the mislocation of a roughed in toilet pipe in the basement. The details and pictures provided to us in our report were unbelievably clear and specific. At the outset - when I made this appointment, I was alarmed by the fee, but Steve reassured us we'd receive very fair value - and we certainly did. You are a pleasure to do business with, Steve.     Home Inspection

    Thank you so much Michael, I thought i knew about houses through my rental units but your experience and motivation far exceeded mine. I appreciate the time and effort you took in inspecting my new house in Ajax, even my realestate agent was impressed. I will certainly use your services again when I buy another rental house.     Inspection of a 53 years old bungalow

    I had no idea about how many troubles this bungalow used to have. Steve was so professional to explain to me every and each glitch with calm and exhaustive explanations. He is fantastic, very cooperative and very glad to help me understand. 100% satisfaction.

    Home inspection

    Had a home inspection completed by Steve. He was very thorough and spent time to answer all questions that I had. The report which was provided at the end was very detailed and made me feel very comfortable with the house I am purchasing.

    Home Inspection

    I was very happy with my home inspector from 4Sight Inspections. He spent a great deal of time with me at the home looking at every inch of the property. We discovered some interesting things that I would have otherwise never noticed. Other home inspectors would not spend nearly as much time and only provide you with a binder with check boxes and little information. The report provide by 4sight is very insightful, and includes images of problem areas that are of concern. I would absolutely recommend him again and will use him for future inspections!

    Home inspection

    As first time home buyers we really appreciated the knowledge and experience Michael offered. He was extremely thorough, informative and arrived promptly. We will highly recommend him to all our friends.

    Mississauga - Home inspection

    Thank you Steve!!!! A very friendly approach with patience to detail and explain each and every aspect of the property. What we thought was a seemingly move in condition house turned out to have mold, possible water leaks, foundation cracks, wooden windows ready to fall apart ... Steve - appreciate your knowledge, professional approach and patience to answer all my questions.... thank you again.     Home Inspection

    Did my research online and found many favourable reviews for Michael and 4Sight Inspections. He was easy to get a hold of and schedule my appointment. He arrived promptly and got straight to work with the exterior of the home. He did a very thorough job checking the home and found a few key items that were in need of immediate repair. He emailed a copy of the report over the same day. The report was very information and included pictures and some graphics explaining the nature of the problem identified. If you're in need of a home inspection give Michael a call.
