The dishwasher did not drain properly; found JSN here on home stars and called him; Sam is friendly and efficient, an appointment was set up and Sam was there on time. Diagnosed the issue; gave me a cost which I thought was reasonable. All in all very happy with his work and his approach. He will be my first call if an appliance needs work.

I wanted to take this opportunity to do a review for JSN Appliances Repair and Sam as it is well worth the call to them for appliance repair. Approximately 4 years ago I had to purchase a new dryer, my dryer and washing machine at that time were 18 years old. At the time, my dryer was not working so I decided to buy a new washer and dryer – GE manufactured so I assumed they were good machines. About a year ago, I noticed my dryer was taking 2+ hours to dry a load, ridiculous. However, I had medical issues to take care of first and did not get a chance to call anyone for quite some time. I did some research and found JSN Appliances Repair, read the reviews and gave Sam a call. He came to my house 2 days later and I showed him where it was. Went back to my living room and within 5 minutes Sam called me down to take a look. He said there is nothing wrong with your dryer, but look at this. My dryer vents were about 35 – 45 feet long and clogged with lint to the point you could not clean or vacuum. The whole vent was clogged right up to the hookup for the outside vent! So I definitely needed to get new vents. I was in awe of the amount of lint – probably could have knit 3/4 sweaters with it! I had my ducts cleaned a few years ago, but they did not do the dryer vents (I thought they had). He also advised me that the “builders” of my townhouse should never have installed the dryer so far away from the outside vent and put such a long dryer vent in……..but it was too late to lodge a complaint as I have now lived in my townhouse for 20 years! Sam asked me to do a small load and try the dryer out (without the vents connected) to ensure my clothes were drying. I put in a small load of light curtains – they were dry in 10 minutes! I had someone come in on the weekend and install new dryer vents. IT WORKS SO WELL NOW! Sam could have told me anything regarding needing new parts and I would not have known any better……but he did not! He was honest, respectful, polite and followed up with me a number of times. My business is based on customer service excellence, and I was so pleased to find someone that had the same outlook for their business in Sam. I highly recommend JSN Appliances Repair and Sam! I would rate them as a 15 out of 10, but can’t so I definitely give him a 10 out of 10! Before buying new appliances such as stoves, refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves, washers and dryers, call Sam! He will not steer you down a path, but will be direct and honest. I only had to pay him for the call to the house and it was well worth the $60.00! Thank You Sam! I will definitely be referring customers to you and wish you much success in your business!

Our Dishwasher wasn't draining, after checking to see if there was anything blocking it, I didn't know what else to check. We called Sam, he arrived a couple of days later at the time he said he would. He figured out that the pipe was blocked where the dishwasher pipe joins the main drain. He disconnected the tube, unclogged the pipe and reconnected it. He then ran the dishwasher to check to make sure it was still running. I was very pleased with his service, I was just a little upset at how much his labor cost. He was there for only 20 min, no parts were needed and the cost was $120. I knew that it was $80 for the initial service/visit, but didn't know how much it would be after that.

I called Sam to repair the washer that refused to wash the clothes. He arrived promptly and and consulted with Frigidaire on the repair. After determining it would cost more money than the machine was worth, we decided to buy a new washer. I was very pleased with the service and would call Sam again for other repairs.

Sam arrived very soon after I called. He diagnosed the problem with my washer and clearly explained my options for repairing versus replacing the washer. He was very polite and really seemed to care about doing a good job.

Sam was fantastic. Our 14 year old washing machine just stopped working mid cycle. We called on Saturday and he was at our home the next day, Sunday, exactly at the time he said he would be there. We had told him the make and model and he came with the necessary parts so he was able to quickly and inexpensively diagnose and repair the washer. Thank you!

Sam came in to have a look at our leaking dishwasher. He was promptly in touch with me after I had reached out to him on home stars, and arrived at the house when he told me he would. He took the time to explain to me a repair would not be worth the money and would recommend a new machine. Water was leaking through the motor, and with it being an old machine, finding a replacement and installing it would be an expensive task. Sam was also nice enough to have a look at my leaking washer. I told him I was comfortable resolving the issue after he assured me it was a fairly easy task on the specific model, but did offer his services if I ran into any issues. Great experience and I would recommend Sam to anyone in need of appliance repair.

Dryer panel went dead. Called Sam, he came that same day. Diagnosed the issue correctly, ordered the part (main control board) and had it fixed the next business day. The part was the majority of the cost, which I researched myself was the going rate for it. The part is a ripoff, and it wasn't Sam's fault. He gave me options beforehand, and did not pressure me. I would recommend him.

Starter broke at our gas cooktop. Sam came in the first day, diagnosed it and bought the part and replaced it the following day. Everything was done promptly, in a professional manner and we will certainly use Sam for all future appliances repairs.
