Replacement of Samsung dryer heating element
Sam arrived on time and quickly diagnosed why ther dryer wasn't producing heat when used on drying cycles. The heating element needed to be replaced, but instead of replacing just the heating element, the entire heating element box was replaced. Service was good, but in all honesty $352.00 (not including taxes) seemed a little steep for about 1hrs worth of actual work on the dryer and that includes vacuuming the interior of the dryer once it was partially dismantled. I realized after watching YouTube videos that this repair could've been a DIY. Again, work was good, Sam was polite and knowledgeable, however I am also a little disappointed in 90 day warranty for the part and 30 day warranty for labour. 2016.09.08 Sam called me back to ask why I wasn't completely happy with the service. I explained to him that I was happy with the service, but that the price (to me) was a little high. He has graciously offered to discount the job. He also explained to me that he only uses genuine Samsung parts and that entails replacing the entire heating assembly, not just the heating coils (which would be an aftermarket part by itself). He also educated me on the industry warranty on replacement parts as standard at 90 days (which I didn't know). So all in all, I am happy and satisfied with the level of customer service Sam provided. He actually cares about his customers and feedback. The $180 charge for the labour is the standard charge he charges for my repair apparently. I told him that he should list the labour price amount for each type of repair on the company website so that customers know how much the repair is after it is diagnosed in person, and not be surprised (like I was when I was told) and he said that he would consider the suggestion and speak with his IT guy.

Dryer, heating element
returned my calls promptly, arrived as scheduled, kept the worksite clean and even cleaned my dryer!

Dishwasher repair
Prompt to return my request for service. Very professional in all our interactions. We are very happy with the result and the work was done for a very reasonable price for the time taken. Also gave tips to prevent the problem from happening again and how to make our machine more efficient. Will be calling again for any future appliance related problems.

Gas dryer repair
Sam was great - he was punctual, courteous, and professional. He quickly assessed the problem and corrected it. Would definitely recommend him.

Dishwasher service call
The technician went above & beyond to make sure he could come by to see my dishwasher before a long weekend. Unfortunately, it was fried, but he explained everything very well to me & was realistic about a price for fixing it vs. the cost of a new dishwasher.

Washing machine repair
Sam was amazing. He was polite and upfront, and got the work done quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend JSN to anyone looking for home appliance repair.

Incredibly impressed with this company!
Sam came to assess our dishwasher recently, which was not working. He did warn us of his service fee to do this, which we agreed to. He spent almost two hours trying to figure out what was wrong and fix it, but it proved to be a very challenging situation. Instead of replacing a part that he wasn't convinced would fix it, he decided to refer us to a colleague to get a second opinion. The amazing thing was, he didn't charge us anything for his time! I've never had a repair person not charge a fee for coming out, and when we insisted that we give him something for his time, he steadfastly refused. This is a repairman with honour, who feels strongly about his work - what a refreshing surprise! This is the second time we've used his service - they came to fix our fridge in the spring (done correctly and quickly.) I can highly recommend this company, and will use them again.

Dryer Repair
Very nice and practical guy arrived on time to find out the reson behind non working dryer and exchange the damaged part right away... His efforts were highly appreciated..

Washing machine repair
Sam quickly identified the issue with our Kenmore washing machine and replaced the drain pump and broken motor. No more piles of dirty laundry! Sam was professional and friendly and I'd have no problem recommending him to friends
