    Tankless water heater maintenance

    Reza did a great job. He was on time and explained everything well. Overall, very happy with the service. Would definitely recommend him if you have any issue with your tankless water heater.

    Repair Central Air Conditioning
    Sam, at Climax Heating, was quick to respond, showed up when he said he would, was personable, communicative, professional, and efficient. The blower is notably louder than the previous one, but it works just fine and was vastly less expensive than replacing the entire unit, which I'd feared might be the case. If/when the other unit goes, I'll contact Climax.

    Replaced Part On Coldest Day Of The Year

    Furnace yet down a Sunday before Christmas. It needed a specific part to get it working again. I contacted Climax and within 2 hrs the furnace was back up and running. Great response time and a quick fix.

    Emergency call

    Our heater broke down at 2am. Around 8am I sent in a request for service asap over their website. I got 2 calls (missed the first one) within 45 minutes. Able to schedule a time and had Sam at my place around 1230. He was able to fix the problem and get the heat going again in our house, which was down to 16 degrees inside. Thankful for the quick reply and service in this unfortunate situation.

    New thermostat installation

    I talked to Climax Heating & Air Conditioning on Tuesday, on Thursday someone came by to install our new smart thermostat and to have a look at our furnace. Very efficient, thermostat works fine.

    New furnace and water heater

    Our 20 year old water heater blew a leak one day, and we knew that being that old meant we should replace the furnace at the same time. Sam was very quick to respond with quotes and answered all my questions. The team showed up the next day and did great work. They were friendly and clean, explained what they were doing, and were able to get everything done and in/out of this very old house in a day. The new equipment is a big improvement. Would definitely recommend and hire again.

    Not trustworthy

    I hired Climax Heating and Cooling to replace my furnace and AC after seeing their 5-star reviews on HomeStars. Unfortunately, my experience did not live up to my expectations. On the day of installation, they increased the price by $500 from the originally quoted amount, which was disappointing. Additionally, they committed in writing to install a humidifier but failed to follow through. Despite a year of follow-ups, the humidifier was never installed. I also had to repeatedly contact them to get my rebate application processed. Even then, the rebate amount was significantly less than what they initially quoted. The overall job was poorly done, there is no filter cover provided. Overall, I was very dissatisfied with their service and would recommend considering other service providers who are more reliable and transparent.

    Fast, friendly, and careful service

    I had an issue with my fan coil actuator diagnosed by my building's seasonal inspection. Sam was quick, responsive, and thoughtful, and found the root cause of the problem which had been missed. My fan coil's working again, a longstanding problem was fixed in the process, and it all got sorted inside half an hour. Really professional and heads-up service. Recommended!
