John responded promptly, and quickly assessed the work to be done and the cost. Finished the job quickly and efficiently to my total satisfaction. Over the years I've dealt with a great many tradesmen and john would rank at or near the top. Would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

If there was a rating higher than 10, I would give it to My favourite Plumber in the world Mr. John Dima. To say he is a true professional is an understatement. He saved my home from certain disaster, after I thought I could try my hand at plumbing (what was I thinking) John is an absolute perfectionist and from the first moment I met him I knew he had this, and I didn't need to worry about it anymore. His quote was reasonable, and he worked for hours along with his equally gracious apprentice, until my problem was no more. He went above and beyond what expected and attended to several things that were confusing me about the job as well. I chose Mr. Dima based on his Homestars rating, and the multitudes of positive reviews. I was not disappointed! He told me if I had any problems at all, he would come right back and remedy the situation. I realize that the more positive reviews he has the more in demand he will be, and the harder it may be for me to get him the next time. Great service from Dima Plumbing. John answered the phone himself and was at my place in a few hours. He used his electric snake to clear my kitchen drain and added a valve to make it easier to access the drain pipe should I need the service in the future. John left the area under the sink spotless and was done the entire job in fairly short order. There was a small leak after he left and he retuned quickly and fixed the problem. He even gave me a great tip on how to keep my drain clear. TIP: Pour half a litre of dish soap (cheap is fine) down the drain. Stop your sink (both sinks if you have a couple sink) and fill full with hot water then unstop the drains and let the hot water plunge down and clean out the gunk in your drain pipe.

Prompt, courteous service. John and his apprentice did an excellent job installing a new toilet and shut-off valve. He also replaced the the shut-off valves for our laundry room sink. I highly recommend John at Dima for your plumbing needs.

The tap on my outside water pipe had blown off due to freezing temps. I found John on HomeStars, called him and explained the situation to him. He was able to come by the next day. John kept me apprised as when he would arrive. He was efficient, very personable and pleasant to deal with. The tap was replaced - no fuss, no muss. While here I also showed John a problem I had with my kitchen faucet. He quickly examined it and told me that I only needed to replace the nozzle and to contact the manufacturer for a replacement which he believe they would do without any cost to me - they did! He also showed me that once I received the replacement nozzle, it was a task that can be done by me without having to call a plumber. This clearly showed that John had and keeps his customer's interest at heart. Thank you, John!

I have a apartment in Toronto (Lakeshore and Bay) and when searching for potential contractors in the location, DIMA Plumbing appeared with a great rating. I reached out and spoke with John, he had a conversation with me about the job, potential costs and availability. I needed the Shower Faucet repaired or replaced. John told me, he can take a look but it would be best to repair so that tiles etc, wouldn't need to come off and all. That sounded better to me, as I didn't want this to be a big job of any sort from a cost standpoint. I said I will give him a call back with some timings, and I did a few days later. He worked with my schedule to come over and take a look at the faucet. My wife was home and he explained the job and also managed to repair it vs replacing it. He was professional, courteous, timely and did a great job. Highly recommended.

I called John to get a quote on some plumbing for our bathroom and kitchen. The shower drain and water lines needed to be moved and fixed and the kitchen drain was dripping. He provided an initial quote as well as options to fix the problem. When he came back he was able to complete the work efficiently, did a great job, and also cleaning up after the work. I would call Dima plumbing again if I needed plumbing and would recommend them to friends.

A couple weeks ago my bathtub tap started dripping. After reading reviews I came across Dima Plumbing. The owner, provided me with the answers to all my questions such as approximate cost and information on what likely would need to be done to stop the dripping. I am extremely pleased by the professionalism and competency displayed and for being accommodating to my needs. If I require a plumbing service in the future, you can believe I will be contacting Dima plumbing. The gentleman who performed the plumbing was courteous, cleaned up after the job, answered my questions, and was competent, and kind!

The toilet in our rental home had a bad leak and needed to be replaced quickly. I called John on Sunday and he had a new quality toilet replaced by Monday morning
