Squirrel prevention
He was quick, professional and on time. I also liked that he took the time to explain things to me and show me before hand the material he was going to use and why. Overall very happy with the service

Hornet's nest removal
Called a few companies that were charging significantly more, weren't able to come for a few days, or weren't very helpful when explaining how the work would be done. Shakeel, from North Star Pest Control, was very informative on the phone and was able to come by a few hours after our call. He explained the process of how the nest would be removed and also gave us some tips on what to look out for afterwards. They worked quickly and thoroughly (see photos). It can be hard to find good and reliable companies when it comes to this line of work, but I couldn't be happier with their service - highly recommended.

Raccoon issue. Built a one way door on the roof.
The inspector found the problem once he got up to the roof. He advised to us in details how to fix the problem. I would like to give him a A .

Bird nest removal from dryer and exhaust vent
Suddenly start getting bad smell in the house realize it’s coming from the washroom vent, called north star pest control , they listened to my concern and address it immediately . told have a new born baby in the house , they were very responsive and came today to cleaned and fix the vent. Very thankful they checked my dryer vent too and there was a nest getting build up. They fix that too. Very professional and highly recommended

Raccoon removal
We had a family of raccoons in our soffits and North Star Pest Control did an excellent job removing them. They were punctual, professional and their pricing was extremely competitive. They were very friendly and helpful, and we would not hesitate to recommend them.

Fixing Racoon problem in complex of townhouses
This was an urgent matter where racoons would created a hole in one of our town home's roof and would have access to all of the neighboring attics and causing extensive damage to our insulation and roof. It's gotten to a point where kids would have to sleep downstairs in the basement along with being woken up in the middle of the night hearing scratches and unpleasant noises. The longer we wait, the more damage it will cause to our roofs so it was critical to find a company who was willing to come on the same day and help patch up the hole. This company came through where they came within 2 hours to help fix the issue despite their busy schedule. They explained the situation and preventative measures we can take do moving forward. I have to applaud them for their quick response. It also helps that they have a strong rating as we want to do this the right way so part of the reason we went with them. Job took just under an hour and looks like it patched it up well. Time will tell if the racoons are out but looking at the picture, I'm confident he did a good job. He will come back in a week or so to patch up the hole. The other key part is working the service they provide and that was as easy as it gets. Thanks again and hopefully our neighbors can have their sleep back. Would recommend this company to others

Mice Problem
11 star professionalism and service! Shakeel responded immediately to my Home Star inquiry regarding sounds we have been hearing in upstairs bedrooms ( on a holiday weekend Saturday night as well! ). Provided advice to try and figure out what we were dealing with before making the home visit. Inspected our entire roof and interior to diagnose the problem. Very reassuring to our family that we were dealing with mice and not larger animals ( to the relief of my wife and daughter ). Installed a mesh to cover a poorly built vent and bathroom exhaust pipe, and mice treatment in the attic. Shakeel's promptness, professionalism, and approach are extremely impressive and appreciated.

Raccoon Removal
There was a raccoon living above our porch and with the installation of the one-way-door it was gone in a day or two.

Gas fireplace
They are definitely worth the five star review. I thought I had a bird stuck in the vent outside of the gas fireplace. They said that everything looked fine and the vent was secured tightly. It ended up being a tree branch hitting the vent which they figured out after looking at the surroundings. Thank you again!

Pest control skunk removal
Had an issue with mother and baby skunks that burrowed under the home. North Star pest control has amazing customer service and captured within 1 week using special cages designed. Good and prompt service. Highly recommend
