Peter was fantastic. He knew the problem right over the phone and ordered the part for us. Came on time on the day and did a clean job. He was very knowledgable. I highly recommend him and I'll use him again for future applicance repairs (hope not too many though!). I know the big difference because I had another guy came in before Peter, charged me for $60 service call, didn't fix the problem and didn't even know what he was talking about.

Peter was fantastic. He knew what the problem was from the description on the phone, came and did the work quickly and efficiently and was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I would call him again for any repair and recommend him to everyone I know.

I called Modern Appliance for service on my General Electric refrigerator, Peter came out with the part needed after assessing the problem over our phone conversation. He is quick, professional and most of all honest. Got my refrigerator up and running in no time. While he was here he also took a look at my air conditioning in my condo and cleaned the air filters at no extra charge! Now that's service! Pete's my guy for service! I highly recommend him and his company! Thanks again Peter!

So far I have used the Modern Appliance services twice. Back in November 2012, I called Peter about an issue on my older gas range. He correctly diagnosed the issue as an oven igniter and estimated his price over the phone. He was punctual, arrived on time the day he promised and fixed the problem. Since then, no problems with oven. The second time this June 2013, when I had an issue with my washer and thought it was the drain pump. This time Peter explained over the phone what the problem was most likely. And sure enough, it was a very simple issue that I could fix myself. A small air hose that leads to the pressure switch popped-out, all I had to do is connect it back and secure it. Peter saved me a visit and bill for something easily fixable. I have used Modern Appliance's service in the past and was very happy with the service, so when my stove needed repair I did not hesitate to contact them again. I called and left a brief message and my call was returned quickly, Peter is very professional and he knows his appliances. I just needed to give a description over the phone and he was able to give a reasonable and educated guess to what could be the problem. He was correct and fixed my oven quickly, and the service charges was very fair. I will defiantly use them again and have referred friends.

Peter provided excellent and honest service. He was able to diagnose the problem quickly and his price was very reasonable for the work involved. He had to order a part for the repair but had it within a day. If I have any future problems with my appliances, I will definitely be calling Modern Appliance again.

Best repair experience I've had. Peter arrived when he said he would. He brought parts ahead of time based on our initial conversation. As it turned out, he was able to repair washer without using the parts. He's personable, efficient and didn't overcharge. He also gave me good advice concerning the appliance and maintenance thereof. Peter's my first call next time I have an appliance related issue.

My fridge wasn’t making ice-cubes and the filtered water wasn’t working. I left a message at Modern, Peter returned my call promptly and arrived the next morning within the 2 hour window that he told me with a new temperature sensor which he installed. We had discussed the possible problem and price already on the phone. Before the installation, he defrosted the frozen water line and gave me the option of waiting a day or two (since there was no way of testing the sensor) to see if it could be just a simple inexpensive fix. He told me that if had to come back there would be no extra charge for that as there is one flat rate for the service done, no matter how many repeat trips or hours spent, and I would have to pay just for the part. How great is that!? I chose to have the part installed as he was already here and I have had issues with this fridge in the past. The next day…the same problem. I called Peter back and he showed up the day after, again when he said he would, with a new part after spending some time making calls to KitchenAid. He did not charge me for the original part and installed the new part with no additional service charge. The fridge has been working perfectly since. Thank-you, Peter, for your fantastic service! I highly recommend this company and would call them again in a heartbeat with any other appliance problems!

I called Peter from Modern Appliance for service on my dishwasher and fridge ( he was referred to me from friend ). He was GREAT! He came in right away, diagnosed problem (explained and showed me everything that was happening to appliances), and within a couple of days had my appliances up and running!! Peter left me extremely satisfied with his work and I would defiantly recommend him to everyone I know. Thank you Peter!!

I called Peter from Modern Appliance about my dishwasher not draining. Peter came to our home on time and with the parts on hand and got my dishwasher going in no time! He was professional and very knowledgeable. Over the years i have have used a few appliance companies and the service i received from Peter was exceptional!
