    Roof Repair

    Just wanted to thank Patrick and his team for a quick response and turnover on the repair. Being away on vacation and having our neighbor email us photos of several missing shingles from that crazy wind storm was a shocker! I appreciated being able to get a hold of someone right away and the problem resolved so that we were able to continue enjoying our vacation. Thanks again guys!

    Don’t Use this company

    My parents call Pr professional roofers for a quote to repair six or seven shingles that blew off during a windstorm they were quoted $480 plus tax to repair workmen showed up and asked for a credit card number before they went on the roof. they installed a plastic sheet as a temporary fix and said they would be back to do the repair. 2 weeks later my parents received a letter stating that they would have to pay an additional $780 plus tax to repair the shingles my parents paid someone else $200 to do the repair

    Hello Mike, thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you misunderstood the quote for the temp repair, however the temp repair and proper repair are both two different things. We understand that their might of been some confusion, but please come and visit the office, or if you like give us a call so that we can help you further. In the other note, please be careful who you trust to do the repair, sometimes these "fly by night roofers" can cause more damage then good.

    New Roof

    I sought out professionalroofers.com after several neighbors in my townhouse complex had their roofs replaced by them. Fernando came over to give me a quote and took the time to explain the service and product they would install. He was not pushy and gave me the time I needed to make a decision. Once I decided to go ahead, they booked the date and arrived on time to do the work. I did run into some issues which Roberto addressed and did what needed to be done to sort it out. Overall, I believe they lived up to their name and would recommend them.

    Roof

    Roof

    Professional roofers installed the roof of my house one month ago. I'm very happy with the very good job done,all the employees were very nice and very helpful. A special thanks to Mathias for his good advices . Janet from Toronto

    Great response

    I installed my roof in 2017. After the two horrible windstorms we had some shingles fly off. I called professional Roofers and got a response/fix right away. My neighbour who had gone ahead with a different company 4 years ago never received a call back from the company he used. Professional Roofers was kind enough to do a quick fix on my neighbours roof too.

    Great service

    We hired Professional Rooffers back in April to do my roof. I called for an estimate and Diego their estimator came right the next day, everything was a smooth process, he made sure we had everything needed to keep within code and priced the higher rated shingles. It was a bit of a wait to do the roof since there was a queue but we didn’t mind waiting a few weeks. We had a big wind storm later in May and i was happy to see that all our shingles were fine and many of our neighbors on the complex had damage to their roof including one who had just changed their roof. We’re happy with their services and would definitely recommend them.

    Roof repair

    I had wind damage on my roof after the big windstorm. They were kind enough to send Adam out to do a temporary repair before the rain came. After about a week the full crew came to do the permanent repair and check the complete roof. My roof is only 8 years old so they said I didn’t need a new one just yet.I will be calling them back when I need a complete new roof. Thanks again professional roofers!

    Poor workmanship

    Dealt with this company since 2005. Each time there are high winds, houses done by Prof Roofers have shingles come loose. They have been good in replacing the tiles but now they can't do so because too many customers have this problem. I took out a 5 year extended warranty in 2016 paid them $800+ and they are asking for another $1050 now to replace shingles. Not going to happen. Incidentally, the tiles that flew off the roof all have the adhesive strip still in tact. This means they did not remove the backing on the tile to glue the tile down. Regret taking the warranty and would not recommend Professional Roofers due to the poor customer service shown now that we are in need.

    This Private User has simply failed to understand the terms and conditions of a labour warranty. Put simply, the warranty protection measure specifically relates to labour matters. Any circumstances that are beyond the installer's control such as any event that directly and exclusively results from the occurrence of natural disaster (acts of God), example; a severe windstorm damage are excluded. Fun fact about that "adhesive strip"—a simple web search would reveal to you that the sole purpose of this plastic release film is to prevent the shingles from sticking together inside the package. Once the shingles have been removed from the package and are applied in the correct orientation on the roof, the release film serves no purpose.     Shouldn’t a roof protect from Mother Nature?

    Given a $1200 quote for a repair on an entirely BRAND NEW roof only 3 years old. No breakdown of cost provided. Called and was told if I don’t like the price to go elsewhere and my “warranty” is done . When I asked what the WARRANTY does cover if not the very elements a roof is suppose to protect against, I was given a vague answer. When I asked for a specific example she said extreme sun exposure ??. I don’t mind paying for repairs or maintenance but not this much, this soon after paying top dollar for a new roof in the first place. Their service was appalling.

It is true that we do not cover wind damage in our warranties, since its an natural event. This recent wind storm has caused over 28 Million dollars worth of damage to the GTA ( https://toronto.ctvnews.ca/video?clipId=139601 ) however to help our customers we offer free temp repair to prevent any further damage from occurring (part of your warranty). From there we give you a number of option, one of them being that you can proceed with the work with another company. Although it is ultimately your choice, we can only recommend, that you don't proceeding with another 'fly by night roofer' or 'storm chaser', due to the fact that they can cause more harm then good, in the future.
