    Replacement of Shingles

    During the last storm I lost a few shingles. Professional was the most expensive of 3 quotations. They quoted double the price of the second quotation and almost triple of the first one. The second quotation said they will not charge me for tax if I paid in cash. I went ahead with Professional because their salesman sounded more "professional" than the others, they offered a warranty and they promised to do the job the same day. Later on I was told the job will be delayed until the next day early in the morning. When they did not show up by lunch time the next day I called again. Their Salesman stopped answering my calls, so I called their office only to be told that the job will be done the next day. When I requested to cancel the job, suddenly they were able to accommodate me in their schedule for that day. The roofers arrived 2 hours later and finished the job in less than 10 minutes. They provided the exact number of shingles, the color was similar enough but not an exact match. As such, who knows how old or what condition these shingles are in...The quotation included a roof tune up and cleaning of the eves which they never provided. I did not wish to call them back and complain because I was certain I will only receive lip service after what I had gone through with them. The other roofers quotations would have me pay for 1 bundle of shingles per invoice (less than $50) and I get to keep whatever shingles that are left over. Moral of the story: If you have a small job stay away from this company. I felt so stupid for hiring this company. More expensive does not always equate to better service. I will never use them again

    New roof

    Very happy with Diego and his team’s work. Their company’s name definitely suits them! Will definitely recommend them for anyone needing new roof shingling. Very price competitive; while delivering a quality product.

    New roof

    My grandma's house is super old and the roof was basically falling apart. We contacted a few different companies, but professional roofers quoted us the best price. As well as this, they answered every question in detail, and reasurred my grandmother that the rest of the house would be fine and not damaged by the work. The work was done quickly and the roofers actually showed up on time and worked hard! All in all, a great job :)

    Won't Honour Warranty!

    They did our roof 4 years ago. Had to place 2nd call for shingles problems last week. We were only house on street with shingle issues in the strong winds. Did temp job said they would be back. Now we get a call saying there is a Charge to come and fix. Say warranty not good. Poor warranty service and also dishonest in what they claim.

    Roofing

    They arrived on time and did the job professionally. I couldn’t agree more that they are the best when it comes to roofing. They kept suggesting minor changes as things arose, most of them improvements. More than happy that I trusted this company. Highly recommended!

    Improper shingles installation

    We & neighbor live in semi-detached house. We both hired this company to replace all shingles. After installation my neighbor called this company to fix shingles. They came,did some fixing, but then other shingles were buckling and clawing. We also had the same problem on our site. Shingles should lay flat after some period of installation, but it never happened. Yesterday the wind blown off from both roofs many shingles, The underlayment is flashing as well. We looked at other houses in our neighborhood and did not see such us damage around. This company refused to make a warranty repair. This company refused to make a warranty service, they blame on wind. It is nothing about wind, it is about improper installation causing this damage.

    Not happy!

    We had our roof replaced about 12 years ago. Today we had our 4th incident of shingles blowing off the roof. This never happened with our 20 yr old builders roof. Not impressed!!!

    Good reliable service

    We were selling the house and we had to get the roof done ASAP so that we could sell the house. We contacted a few different companies and professional roofers were the first to respond. It was cold in November and a lot of other companies would not do the roof due to the weather. Professional Roofers did the job 1 week after. The workers were very professional and polite. They cleaned after doing the job. Even my neighbor said "their work was beyond reprocheable".

    They do not honour warranties or return phone calls

    Hired Professional Roofers March 2011 (INV 3905) to fix flat roof with limited 15 year warranty. At that time liked the service we received and hired them again May 2014 (INV 6848) to do traditional house roof and dining room roof. In spring 2016 we called them back to note flat roof was leaking into living room again. At that time they blamed the new windows we were putting in. We held off until new windows and siding were complete and finished as of February 2018. They agreed that windows and siding were not issue. And have not returned any calls for 5 weeks. We have since learned the following: 1. Flat roof did not comply with both code and original signed off building specifications, as Professional Roofers recommended to remove the flat roof central drain. 2. Flat roof was not sealed to old part of house with flange 3. When new roof was installed above dining roof, roofers actually cut the seal to the flat roof 4. Proper metal flange and seal around all of flat roof is missing What this means is if we have more than an inch of water on the roof, it will not drain away and instead leaks around all of the edges of the roof - and where they cut the seal when they put in the new dining room roof. Our only options have been to wait for natural evaporation to take its course, or remove excess water physically (e.g. shovelling over edge of roof). Said differently we always must have three buckets in our living room. Although they were supposed to have put in a new plywood layer across the roof. There are multiple “soft spots”. A new professional roofer opened up these spots to find all rotten wood and carpenter ants. We are now looking at having to redo the whole flat roof. WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT HIRE THIS ROOFER UNLESS THE CITY SIGNS OFF CONFIRMING THEIR WORK IS TO CODE. AND WE RECOMMEND YOU HIRE A GENERAL CONTRACTOR TO SUPERVISE THEIR WORK. AND KEEP IN MIND THEY DO NOT SEEM TO HONOUR WARRANTIES OR RESPOND TO PHONE CALLS FOR OVER FIVE WEEKS DESPITE TWICE A WEEK PHONE CALLS AND TEXTS. AFTER SPENDING OVER $20K ON THEM WE EXPECTED BETTER. All - please see below for the pattern of completely disingenuous response from this vendor. The 5 year patch job they are referring to is before we then signed up for a complete flat roof redo. They should relook at the invoice numbers provided as it refers to a 15 year warranty for the flat roof. And a 30 year warranty for the standard roof. The fact that the roofers put plywood over top of carpenter ants. Rather than calling out the risk and properly fixing it supports our general contractors PoV that they do not know what they are doing. And the reasons listed below are false for the leak. And the staff repeatedly say “the owner will call” and yet the owner never ever does. Despite us calling and texting twice per week. We paid a total of $20k for the total job. Not counting the first job referenced below which clearly had its own issues. The owner should be an adult and call back. And should personally visit on site. And before doing that should actually read the contracts and warranties that his sale person signed. The owner should also trust we are giving LOTS of free online advertising to ensure this review will always be the most preferred.

All the times that you called, we tried to help you the best we could. If for any reason phoning the office was inconvenient or that you felt discomfort in any way, then there was always the option to visit our office. The office is always kept open to the public, and in some cases it's more constructive to discuss your concerns in person. 7 years ago, given your financial situation at the time, we agreed to complete the work for a much lower cost than the original cost of the contract. Nonetheless, we agreed to comply with the contact and provide the full 5 year warranty. In your comments you mentioned the issue with the central drain. The most common issue with the central drain is that it can be easily plugged with debris. This was the case here, the drain was not functioning because of debris. Please take into account that last year when you phoned to express your concerns about flat roof, the repairman was sent to cleanup branches, and other debris. Because our warranty only covers labour related work, nothing relating to landscaping services, the cleanup was completed at no cost to you, as a complimentary service. Pleases understand that at the time we did the flat roof; we did not do any structural work to the roof, therefore the installers can only be responsible for the surface of the flat roof. For example, you should not accuse a roofing company if you discover that the structural joists seem to be abnormal. Your warranty has expired after 5 years. Now, two years later you try to place all accountability onto the installers. Nonetheless, your comments and concerns have been noted by our company management, and we kindly ask you to take some time from your busy schedule to visit our office.     Roof leaked after only a few years.... terrible job.

    Our roof leaked into a room that had just been remodeled. The Owner of Professional Roofers fought with Us and he was totally rude, after being asked for a warranty repair. Their people were totally unprofessional and completely difficult to work with. They would not cover the warranty repair to our Roof as they didn't seal around the roof openings. They did a terribly poor job, it leaked horribly, and this has been a total nightmare. I will NEVER recommend Professional Roofers to anyone, as they are totally unprofessional. Thank you for your time. Don't call them. ________________ This review was based on a actual occurrence with Your Company, right at the top, and is not based on falsehood. Why, when we called you four or five times, would you not answer our queries. You are totally unprofessional, and excuse me if MY FAMILY refuses to ever call you number ever again. You are a total nightmare of a Company, and we are just Customers with a real issue with Your UNPROFESSIONALISM. I hope people read this and are made aware of how bad you People really are. We want NOTHING to do with You or Your Company, from the top on down.
