Hired RCC to do external basement waterproofing in June based on recommendation from a friend/neighbour. The job included the removal of a stairwell to the basement, bricking in of the door, and installing new window wells. Initially impressed with sales person but multiple issues ensued. Did not warn us that removal of door frame would leave edge of window completely open. Workers' extremely foul and misogynistic language regularly overheard by myself and kids. Provided that feedback to RCC and impressed they seemed to take it seriously. Foreman later called to apologize and asked why I hadn't told him while they were still there working but he never introduced himself as a foreman so how would I know to do that. Said he would come the next week to seal the window but never showed despite continuing leakage. Upon request, sales person returned and I pointed out small damp area at base of removed door on inside but still blamed it on unsealed window. We sealed the window ourselves and dampness continued. Sent another email to sales person who was away but didn't hear back from him or anyone else ever. We later discovered there was a hole still at the base of the removed door that was hidden by loose cement remnants from filling door. Sealed that ourselves as well. The company was extremely responsive in calling to demand our final payment and threatening to send it to a collection agency despite above concerns. Dirt outside of removed staircase has now sunk significantly exposing the bottom of the window well metal and approximately 12 inches of the window well tubing. Foreman came back to look at how much additional soil and gravel would be needed to fill it approximately 4 weeks ago and he absolutely insisted on coming the following Saturday despite my concerns we could not be there while the work was being done. They still haven't shown to complete this "included" feature of their contract either.

In July 2016, I contacted RCC for a quotation on repair to cracked concrete around external fireplace above ground. Although we didn't have any leaks (waterproofing performed by another company 27 years ago was still OK), my husband and I were concerned that the concrete crack could eventually lead to leakage below ground/into the basement. We also needed the work completed within a few weeks, as landscapers would be working in this area. We contacted RCC for a quotation. Their salesman, Mauro, provided a quote within days of our call, and expedited the work to be completed with relatively quick turnaround. The area was excavated down ~2 feet , with new waterproofing material added (just in case....) and above ground concrete repaired. (This was not a complete new waterproofing job as we didn't want the higher cost and we didn't have any below ground cracks or water leakage). It has rained several times since the work was completed, and we continue to be dry. Mauro also answered followup email questions that we had on some hairline cracks in the new concrete (which are quite common in such work, can be quickly repaired/sealed). Sales and service were excellent/extremely professional and we are very pleased with the work. We highly recommend RCC for waterproofing!

Rick from RCC came within 2 business days to look at the issue. My basement foundation wall was leaking. Rick saw and calmed us by letting us know that there is no seepage or leak... And its just condensation as the foundation did not have space to breathe. He did not charge anything and said it's fine as long as cracks are filled and the waterproof sheet is installed before building a dry wall while completing my basement. I hope not but if my basement ever leaks... I will definitely calling RCC Waterproofing. Thank you guys.

My house is 55 year old with a old block foundation. I just bought the house and I thought it was time to do it completely. I called rcc made a appointment in just a couple of days Jamie showed up, he was friendly and professional, gave me a quote with a detailed explanation of what had to be done. Two weeks later my house was fully waterproofed quick and efficient. Thanks Jamie and Paul.

Jeffery Martin (Consultant) inspected our home to identify the problem. He was very informative and took the time to recommend the required repair options and provided a detailed quote, which we accepted. The work was completed in two days approx. 2 weeks later. The 3 man crew did a good job and answered any questions I had.

I have been plagued for the last 18 months by intermittent basement flooding after periods of prolonged and heavy rain. I contacted 5 apparently qualified Homestars-listed contractors requesting that they determine the cause of the flooding, offer a solution and price. I was frankly disappointed by most of their responses. Of the 5 RCC capably represented by Jamie Hallett advanced a cost-effective and reasonable solution supported by lengthly testing which I performed with my garden hose. The others all lacked Jamie's experience and customer service ethic and were focused mostly on ripping up my entire property based on little forethought and insight. I awarded the job to RCC to install interior drainage and a sump pump. Just this past week RCC's personable and capable crew comprised of Joe, Jesse and Phillip arrived as scheduled and completed the work promptly and very professionally even to the extent of using some of the excavated material to solve another problem on my property. The site was also left neat and clean leaving little trace of their activity. At this point I am optimistically looking forward to the next prolonged and heavy rain to hopefully validate Jamie's assessment and Joe's work, at which time I hope to be able to offer a supplementary and positive performance review review.

Overall excellent results. Sales Force needs improvement. Administration needs better communication with customers. Excavator Operator very responsible and capable. Crew needs better equipment and enough material to perform better and timely, also more training for some of them.

We hired RCC to waterproof a crack on one of the outside walls of our home. The crew of Ryan, Doug and Josh came exactly at 8:30 and worked quickly and efficiently. They would have me look at the progress along the way and explained the work as they proceeded. The work was well done and when complete, all was cleaned up and put back to normal. I appreciated their pride in their work and the company and would definitely recommend RCC Waterproofing to anyone needing this work done.

Anthony Parolin was the operating mgr assigned to my project. He was very helpful very knowledgeable and had an amazing crew take care of my house. They all were very professional cleaning up before leaving every night and during work hours still managed to keep neat and safe. Anthony fully explained the process and what was going to be done to resolve the issue which made me feel comfortable in going through with it I would fully recommend RCC for any basement water issues, they know their stuff and are very fair to deal with.

I had a young man, Brent C, working at my home (May 5, 2016 at 18 Wenliock Cr., London, ON) fixing a leak in my foundation. I was very impressed with the way he did the job and he left my yard looking clean and neat exactly like it looked when he came to the job. He was very polite and I feel that RCC Waterproofing is fortunate to have such a hard working young man in their Company.
