Review from HomeOwner Review left on 27 Apr 2016Rating: 5 out of 5For the last year, we have had terrible flooding in our basement. Every major rain storm, we had several inches of water come up through the concrete floor. RCC recommended excavating around the interior of our basement walls and running drainage to our sump pump. Rob and his crew were absolutely awesome! The project took exactly as long as they said it would. The guys were a pleasure to have in our home: polite and friendly. We've had several big storms since and no water! We would highly recommend RCC, Rob and his crew!Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

Justin was the consummate professional, spending a significant amount of time reviewing our situation and meticulously testing our foundation for leaks. Because of his attention to detail, we were able to detect the leak -- coming from the scanty caulking around our sliding door. While Justin's attention to attention to detail means that we won't be needing the services of RCC today, it will ensure that when the time comes to address any foundation issues at our home, or at the homes of any of our friends or family-members, we will be turning to RCC once again. Thanks, Justin, for taking the time to track down the problem!Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

Went to the home show with a friend a few years ago and we both needed our foundations done. I went ahead with the job and was very pleased. My friend on the other hand didn't and now a few years later their basement and renos are flooded and ruined! My husband and I are now concerned (due to all the rain and possibly power outages) with our sump pump so are planning on having RCC install a battery back up. With the quality and professional service we received before we feel RCC can help us again.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

I had RCC come and repair a leak in my basement wall in 2012. At first I was going to remove the drywall and insulation as well as all of my storage area shelving to get at the repair from the inside but decided to do it from the outside in case the leak source was larger than what could be repaired from the inside. The crew that came were hard working and had the area dug out fairly quickly. The leak turned out to be what I initially suspected, a rod hole from the forming and was the size of a quarter. An easy fix and I should have done this from the inside because after they did the repair the RCC crew refused to tamp down the earth they removed as they back filled the hole. They said they didn't have a tamper with them as it was back in the shop and not to worry that it would be fine. I complained at the time about this because over time the earth will settle and sink. Because this area was under my patio I was concerned about having future issues. There was easily three full wheel barrows of earth they didn't put back in the hole. Now here it is four years later (yes it took that long to settle because of a high clay soil) and my patio has sunk and it causing rain water to flow towards the house and it has caused an underground electrical conduit to break under the strain of sinking soil. I repaired the broken conduit last year and now I'm looking at ripping up my patio to level it at my own expense. I should have been more insistent and can only blame myself for not calling their boss but you would think you wouldn't have to ask that it be done correctly.Answer from pro:
Hi Jim I appreciate the feed back and do not know why the guys would not tamp. The only time we do not tamp is in certain soil conditions or foundation structure concerns. Tamper back at the shop is no excuse and all our trucks have tampers on them permanently so do not know hwy they would say that.I will look into. I agree you should not have to go up the ladder to get stuff done. You should have just called for a service when you had settlement because we offer free grading on all jobs. Its on the contract. No other company does this. Wish you did could have avoided not having you happy with our service. Thanks for your business and sorry we did not meet your expectations. If you ever want to talk about it or anything else you can call me anytime Tony

Before having our basement finished we hired RCC to waterproof our basement, which included 80 ft of interior weeping tile, plus a new sump pump. Cody, Jeff and their crew arrived on time each morning. At first we were told that the job would take 3 days, but they finished in 2. Throughout the job they were willing to answer any questions we had and explained the process. They were professional, courteous and respectful of us and our space. The finished product looks great and they didn't leave any mess behind. Great job guys! Thanks! The only reason we aren't giving RCC a 10 is because the initial sales experience wasn't the greatest. There was lots of back and forth with the salesman and he wasn't the best informed about their services. Nonetheless, we would definitely recommend RCC for any waterproofing needs.Review from Customer of Rcc Waterproofing Customer of Rcc Waterproofing

Paul and his crew did an exceptional job. They were punctual, professional, and efficient. I had concerns if the excavation will cross into my neighbour's property line. Paul and his crew accommodated my request and cut the concrete just millimeters from my neighbour's property line without cracking the concrete. Talk about skill! From excavation to clean up, the level of professionalism, care, and pride of workmanship from the crew was phenomenal. Rick Deagazio was thorough when explaining the project specifics. Rick measured the basement heights, analyzed the problem, then explained to me what had to be done and why. Rick's thoroughness during the estimate gave me the confidence that RCC is the real deal. The written estimate was designed a lot better than the competitors. From the hand-drawn diagram of where the excavation will take place, to the type of equipment that needed to be used---those details show me that RCC has waterproofing down to an art. This job was completed on November 2015. A long overdue review! Keep up the great work.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

RCC Waterproofing did a fantastic job waterproofing my basement. Chris G, Bruno and their team came in and did a full basement waterproofing on walls that needed a lot of repair. They were very careful around the gardens and in close quarters and their clean up was amazing. I waited for 3 months before making this review to ensure there were no surprises - my basement is bone dry and we are very happy. Thank you RCC Waterproofing!Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

I called RCC after reading several other positive reviews and being referred by friends that had great experiences. I had the pleasure of meeting Jeff who came over to my house to give me a quote for an interior waterproofing. He was very professional and listened to all my concerns and explained how everything would be done start to finish making sure I understood and also answered any questions I had . When the installers arrived they were very courteous and professional. When they were finished they took the time to clean their work area thoroughly and explain the finished work to me and how it worked making sure I was satisfied. I would like to thank Jeff and the installing team for making me feel comfortable and addressing my concerns through the process. Look forward to doing business again in future.
