Hello, Unfortunately as we do not know your identity it makes it extremely difficult for us to reach out to help you. We have circled this issue around the office to see if anyone had any recollections of this problem, but it makes it very hard with so little information provided and no time frame mentioned, as this job could of been completed many years ago. As you know, we do not charge for our estimates or consultations. We only gather information on what you provide us and what we can see and then provide the estimate. There is no perfect science to finding water especially when the basement looks dry when we visit. At times there may be a combination of problems and not one simple solution. We do our best to give the best and most affordable solution from what we see. In the end the customer also signs off in what they think will work.
