We had them in for a quote, expecting easy job and low costs. Not at all. Two different very confusing quotes, way too much work to get done needlessly, high costs and most of the pre work to be done by us??? Removing fences etc? Not happy at all.

I have used them for every house I have owned. They always do a wonderful job, show up on time and are just great and easy to deal with. Rick goes above and beyond in terms of service!

The service I received from RCC was an external waterproofing of my house. They did a great job for me from start to the end. Everything was done very professionally, timely and high quality. Also, their prices were quite reasonable. I'm fully satisfied from the service I received from RCC. Thank you RCC, you guys saved my basement !!

I am pleased to be able to recommend RCC Waterproofing to anyone who may be seeking a basement repair company. Your outside the wall service met my needs and has delivered immediate results to my house in Heidelberg, ONT. I mean I knew the results would be good. The block walls dried within days of the coating and the dimple board going on the foundation walls. It smells less musty down there and I am putting my basement back together. I would just like to take a minute to thank you and the RCC team that came to do our waterproofing here at the house. From the initial call to RCC to your visit to inspect the site and sum up the task at hand. All forms of communication up to the day the guys arrived to start the job, the care that they took in working as cleanly as this type of a job allows. To putting up with our 2 crazy dogs that went sniffing to see what was going on down stairs. The execution of the job and the incite that they shared with me. The clean up ,their courtesy and the fact that they are really nice guys (very focused and wanting to make sure that the job was done right) and putting us at ease through out the whole process. I think by this point that you understand how thoroughly impressed and delighted we are that we choose RCC to do this job. Thank you! Just wanted to say how very pleased we were with Bruno, Chris and the rest of the guys during their 3 days with us doing the 4 outside walls of our home. They were all so pleasant and helpful, willing to explain anything I asked - and patiently! They started each day so early and worked so late and not always in the best weather - yet were always so nice. I felt they really knew their stuff and intelligently fixed any cracks or unexpected things they came across (veranda)! Their work was also very neat and our green lawn is still green even though it had lots of earth piled on it! They cleaned up beautifully each day and I couldn't believe how neatly one could dig a trench by hand i.e.our back wall. The team went above and beyond when relaying our patio stones so that my elderly mom, myself and the postman could walk safely....without piles of muck stuck on our shoes. When a few missed items were mentioned after the job was finished, Chris was more than willing to come and correct them i.e. lattice work from deck and driveway where cut needed some more stones. Most importantly I had left them our house key so that they could use our hot water for the work and also use our washroom yet I always felt the team was trustworthy whether inside the house alone or with my mother. . Jamie, our salesman, was also outstanding and knowledgeable, always ready to answer my questions whether through email, phone or in person - he really knows his stuff and it was comforting knowing that he had once been a waterproofer as well. Waterproofing is a big step, not only financially but esthetically, particularly when one has grown up in a house like myself - to see the landscaping totally stripped was a shock as we cut everything down (bushes) and to see gaping holes as the work was done. That's why it is so helpful to see everything left as neat as possible, particularly when one cares about the home as we do. I am also happy that there will be a free follow up in the spring to re level the soil - that certainly shows responsibility about doing a job well.

My RCC experience (with the Hamilton branch) began when I contracted a window company for a window replacement – we wanted to make a small basement window bigger (for egress and natural lighting), but this necessitated excavation, waterproofing and draining, and installation of a window well. I had never needed to contract basement/foundation professionals before, so I had no idea where to begin. Thankfully, the window people were kind enough to refer your company, as they had worked with you in the past with good results. The sales rep, Danny, came out to size up the job and give us a quote. Hands down, he was one of the best sales guys I’ve come across, ever. He was friendly (without being shmaltzy, like so many other salespeople!), down-to-earth, polite and professional. I was so pleased that he took the time to thoroughly explain the whole process of what they would do, and answered all of my questions and concerns completely. It found it very reassuring that it was obviously important to him that I know and understand what they’d be doing, every step of the way. The quote that he provided was higher than I was expecting, but I realize that it’s not fair for me to have had any expectation on price, considering I’d never contracted basement/foundation work before. The only point of reference I had was a ball park guess provided by the sales guy at the window company I initially called first – his guess was much lower, but then: he’s a window guy, not a basement guy, hehe! ... Based on the higher-than-anticipated estimate, I researched RCC further and asked Danny for some references which he agreeably and promptly provided. After speaking to the references (one of whom was highly relevant, also being a partnership with RCC and the window company for a basement window well – kudos to Danny for selecting such a perfect reference!), I was sold. Danny’s superior sales approach, RCC’s long-standing history, and the reference combined, made me confident and convinced that RCC would be a wise choice. Sam, and the team of guys who performed the work, were great. They were fast, polite and respectful. They also made sure that any mess/disruption were minimal throughout the process, and completely cleaned up afterwards. I’d really like them to know that their work is highly valued and appreciated! They were a fantastic bunch of guys, with strong work ethics and good personalities, and delivered on a job well done! Now that the window and window well are in place, I have every confidence that it will be perfectly and reliably waterproof, and it’s made a world of difference to the basement bedroom! It looks bigger and brighter, and I feel better knowing that my son will sleep in a room that is now safer with a proper egress in case of (heaven forbid) fire/emergency.

Had an interior drainage system including a sump pump installed. Sam and his team did a great job. Before starting they expained the process in detail and went to great lengths to keep me infomred about their progress. The work was done over 2 days. It's only been a week since they finished and I already notice a difference in the basement. RCC did everything they said they would do and did it on time. They're a good oufit to deal with.

Just a short note: Thank you Nagy for your assistance and concern for the leakage in our basement. We are grateful that waterproofing and excavation along the west side of our house is finally completed. RCC sent us an excellent hard working crew. Please convey our sincere thanks to Anthony.
