I replaced my old system with American standard furnace, A/C and air cleaner by Springhome last month, my old system was quite noisy, and the new system is very quiet. My bedrooms on the second floor were hot, right now, although I set the same temperature as before, the bedrooms’ temperature is comfortable and my families sleep much well. The installation technicians are very professional and experienced, the new system is well installed. There is no air leakage from the connection, and the working area was cleaned up when they left. And thanks very much to James, when he came to my house to do the estimation he gave me a lot of advise to improve my system and explained very clearly to me how the new system can save my energy bills, now my family have a much better living climate in our house.

We found out about Spring Home from our energy auditor who highly recommended them. Got a quote from Cy, who was extremely professional and honest. A few days later, George came by to make sure what we ordered would truly suit our house. Installation went smoothly and exactly on time, just like Cy said it would. Overall, wonderful experience and would highly recommend if you need a great a/c and furnace!

We had been shopping for a new heating and cooling system since moving in to our house about a year ago to replace an older furnace and a non-functioning air conditioner. We researched various brands of equipment and had a number of contractors visit our home to provide estimates for the work. After doing our research and settling on an American Standard/Trane system we had a number of contractors visit to provide estimates, but we just weren't completely satisfied that all of the details were being addressed --- that was when we noticed the reviews for Spring Home Heating & Cooling on HomeStars and decided to give them a call. Cy was able to make an appointment to visit us the very afternoon that we had called. After our discussion with Cy and his review of our requirements and installation details we were most comfortable with Spring Home Heating & Cooling doing the job versus the other contractors. Cy showed us where some other contractors may take some short-cuts (IE: not using matched A/C coils, using existing duct work instead of replacing where required, not installing return air ducts with vanes to distribute the air flow across the whole filter, etc.). These are things that other contractors didn't even discuss with us and when I called them back to inquire they weren't able to answer our questions. Cy even called in George for a visit that same afternoon for a second opinion to make sure that they would be able to accommodate our installation requests since we were replacing a mid-efficiency model and the direct venting requirement for our new high-efficiency furnace was posing a challenge in the completely finished basement. They also made sure to double-check that the system we had selected would qualify for the maximum rebates available (making sure that the system registration for the furnace, A/C and A/C coils were registered with the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI) with the expected SEER rating to ensure that it qualified for the tier II air conditioner rebate from the OPA). We arranged for an installation date in early June and Cy was very responsive and answered any questions or concerns via phone or e-mail that we had before, during and after the installation was completed (in fact I am sorry that I've taken so long to post this review given how responsive everyone at Spring Home Heating & Cooling was to any of our questions). The installation crew arrived on-time and worked diligently through the day to complete the installation. The quality of the work was excellent and all of the details were taken care of --- the installation was very clean and neat and tidy (see the pictures). After the install we were shown how to operate the humidifier, clean our new air cleaner, how to operate the controls and provided with all of the manufacturers documentation. Cy followed-up via phone immediately after the installation crew had left to make sure that we were satisfied and to see if we had any questions or concerns. Since I am so late in posting this review (Sorry guys!) I can also comment that everything is working perfectly for the last two months (very glad that we have a functioning air conditioner). Shirley and the team were very quick to process the OPA rebates (our cheque is on the way) and the guys returned our old rental hot water heater to the rental company the very next day. In short I am very glad that we decided to make the call to Spring Home Heating & Cooling and I am extremely satisfied with the products that we purchased and the quality of the installation and customer service both pre-sale and post-sale. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to my friends and family. Cy, George, Shirley and everyone else at Spring Home Heating & Cooling --- A big "Thank You!" for a job well done.

I found myself over-researching A/C's and getting so many quotes and models, I was thoroughly confused. After speaking with Spring Home, it was the one company I was comfortable with both the sales contact (Cy) and the installers seemed reputable and would do a good job. So I pulled the trigger on the major expense of an A/C install with Spring Home, and have no regrets. Cy (sales consultant) was very knowledgable and responsive. He knows the product, and he comes across genuinely (not something you can fake). He didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need, he wasn't pushy, and actually came to the house to finalize the quote, and ensured there'd be no surprises on the day of the install. The installation was very professionally done, and I have no qualms with the install. They even extended the pipe used for the furnace combustion out to the exterior of the home for no extra charge. Everything was tested and ensured to work before leaving. The installers were neat, used drop clothes wherever they walked indoors, and even asked for a broom to sweep up after! The only small negative was that the install was much later than I thought, and I didn't receive a call/update until I called, but I was updated immediately after calling Cy. A small negative, which all in all isn't a big deal, but prevents me from giving a 10. In summary, Spring Home isn't a huge premium above the cheapest installers out there. And when you compare what you get -- - decent warranty protection (more than the std 1 year labour) - 24hr emergency service - honesty in talking to Cy this made the decision easier, which is important when it involves thousands of dollars. A/C has performed well over the past month, during the recent heat wave and have no complaints. I highly recommend them.

We wanted to buy an air conditioner for our home. A phone call to Spring Home and Cy was at our door that very night. He was very patient and accomedating with all our questions and answered them all honestly and accurately. Install day of June 21st was to our request. We even had to request to change the install time at 11pm the night before due to a last minute change in our personal schedules and Cy was able to coordinate everything in the middle of the night. The installers were professional, and knowledgable. Protected our hardwood floors with a drop cloth before begining work and patiently taught us how to use the machine along with the humidifer. They did not leave until they were convinced that we were pleased. 10 out of 10! Especially with the hot weather in the past couple days, we are glad we are COOOL! Thanks Cy and Spring Home. After being referred to Spring Home by a family member, we met with George+Cy to talk about upgrading our 30 year old furnace and AC to take advantage of the expiring government incentive programs. They really seemed to take their time going over what would be required for the job, pointing out some things which other installers didn't mention (like how our gas water heater was exhausting into an old unlined chimney), having to run new thermostat wires, relocating the AC etc. After reviewing their quote (which was very competitive considering the American Standard brand) and their rep here on Homestars, we decided to go with Spring Home. The install of both a high efficiency furnace and AC took almost a full day, and we're very happy with the results. They took the time to make sure all the new vent pipes, line set, electrical wires, drain pipes etc. were neat and tidy. The AC unit was set on a big paver with a gravel bed underneath and looks good, and has come in handy with the hot weather we've had recently! Both the AC and the new furnace are much quieter than our old units, which spring home neatly took away along with all the rest of their materials - they definitely left our basement cleaner than it started, which was a refreshing change for a contractor. They even set up a plan to return in the fall once heating season kicks in to give the furnace a tune-up. We've been very impressed with the level of service from Spring Home and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a pro install of HVAC equipment (at a very reasonable price no less).

I bought a home north of Toronto in October and they had a builder-grade furnace and air conditioning system (not American Standard). When I was given an opportunity to change, I jumped at the chance. Cy Goh and his staff at Spring Home were outstanding. They promised the work would all be done in one day. It was. They stayed late to make sure I was happy with their work, and they painstakingly went through everything to make certain I was completely satisfied with their work before they left (with more than few mosquito bites ~!) My old furnace and ac was replaced by Home Spring Heating and Cooling System Inc. last year. George explained the whole process and the benefits to upgrade the total system, he made it very easy for me to understand all the technical aspects of how the new system will work. His crew finished everything in one day, they really took time to ensure the job is done to all specific requirements. I noticed that they did not cut corners and took the extra time and effort to fine tune the gas pipe and the ac lines to the exterior of my house. They also removed all debris and clean up the place afterwards. I am very satisfy with their work and will not hestiate to recommend them to my friends. George came to inspect the job after 3 days to make sure the system is running properly. He promised to come back this summer to inspect all units again which he did one week ago. I have to say that I am a very happy customers. Nice job, George.

George, Yan and the Whole Spring Home team were great to work with from start to finish. We are demanding clients, and George and his team exceeded our expectations. We chose to have an American Standard Freedom 95 60K BTU furnace, an AprilAire Humidifier, Honeywell Media AirCleaner and American Standard 2-Stage thermostat installed in our townhome. We were torn between reconnecting our existing 10 yr old AC which was de-installed to finish grading our backyard vs. buying a new unit. In the end we decided to re-install our old AC and there were no pressure selling tactics for a new unit or ill-will from the Spring Home team. They did a magnificent job re-installing the old unit and the entire HVAC system. Clean and courteous, Yan and his team walked us through what was going to happen during the course of the day and provided us with updates as the work was in progress. All our questions were carefully answered and Yan spent time with us after the install to ensure we were comfortable operating the new system. We couldn't be happier and can recommend Spring Home to anyone for their HVAC needs with great confidence.

Spring Home helped me quickly quoted and replaced my failed furnace with a brand new one during this past winter in an emergency situation. And my wife and I were really impressed with professional service and state of art product received from their service technicians, moreover I was very impressed by their following up calls and visits in ordre to make sure their production to work to the best as it is supposed to be after fine tuning been done by their technicians. And it works great since then. My wife and I are very pleased to the service and product we got from Spring Home and we as a end user strongly recommend this company to other consumers based on our experience.
