    Lenox AC and Installation

    I left a email to their website and a guy named Bijan contacted me very soon. I didn't even see him in person and we made the deal. They are not on the cheap side. But not the most expensive either. As long as I am ready and called him back. He arranged the installation very fast. Peter and Sam came to do the installation. They are very professional. They didn't even have their lunches on that day. They worked very hard to make it done. Very pleased to make the deal with them. Will see whether the product can last. Time will tell. I have recommended them to my naboughs.

    Furnace A/C replacement

    Great service from start to finish from Spring Home. Cy is very knowledgeable and explained in detail the installation process. He was able to suggest a furnace/AC that would best suit our needs. He is very accessible via phone and is quick to respond and follow up. The installers were also very good - they were careful about not tracking in dirt and kept the area clean both during and after the installatiion. The office staff were also quick and efficient as well as friendly and followed up after the installation to ensure we were happy. The paperwork for the rebates were processed by them within 24 hours. Very happy with Spring Home and highly recommend them.

    Multi Zone Ductless Airconditioning

    A real pleasure dealing with Sam La of Spring Home Heating & Cooling. He was extremely knowledgeable , friendly and helpful. Sam understood and went to great efforts to meet the requirements of our Condominium Board. The installation crew were very respectful of both us and our property. They were concerned that they met all requirements and did the job in a professional manner. They left our property and our townhouse both inside and out clean and tidy. As Senior Citizens we can't say enough good about this Company and their staff. We would have no hesitation recommending Spring Home Heating & Cooling System Inc . to anyone Bob & Pat Oshawa

    New Trane Furnace

    Choosing to go with Spring Home Heating & Cooling Systems Inc. was the best decision my husband and I made. We were very impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of your rep, Sam, who spent a considerable amount of time assessing our needs and recommending the right furnace four our home. We are very pleased with the furnace (Trane) itself - can hardly tell when it is running because it is 'whisper' quiet. We have never experienced this level of comfort with the heating in our home in the past 20 years.I The installers had a massive challenge because of our finished basement, however, completed the job with ease and expertise. The follow up calls from the Office team are a testament to how much the company values its customers. We are extremely happy with our choice of going with Spring Home and wish to thank all involved."

    ductless air conditioner

    Spring Home Heating and Cooling was professional and helpful from the first phone call to them, to the work completed. Everyone was respectful of my home and the work was done exactly as I'd hoped. I will not hesitate to recommend them.

    Furnace Replacement

    My furnace was over 20 years old, so I've been expecting that I would have to replace it for quite a while. One cold January night, it stopped working, but I had a DE heating protection plan and they were able to get it restarted. In March, same problem (heat exchanger corroding and the rust clogging the pressure switch) and, again, the DE guys got it going (after a cold night without heat). I decided that it was finally time to replace. With the furnace working again (albeit temporarily), I did have the luxury to get DE, AtlasCare and Spring Home in to quote on the replacement and I was not be under pressure to make a quick/expensive decision. I had not heard of Spring Home previously, but one of my wife's friends had used them and was very pleased, so I called them. Bijan from Sprong Home was terrific and came by the same day I called. He also provided the best quote (and there were no games or back-and-forth on pricing like the other guys). I actually got a slightly larger unit than Bijan suggested so there was no steering me to the most expensive model. Also, the Lennox furnace I got seems to be better quality (and rated higher by Consumers Reports) than the York and Amana models that were being offered by the other guys. The time between making the decision and installation was a few days, but I wasn't in a rush (and Bijan mentioned that no heat customers could get installation sometimes the next day). In any event, the installers (I've forgotten their names right now!) did a great job. Everything was neat and tidy, no mess left, all duct work was neatly done, new intake and exhaust pipes neatly installed, drainage hoses nicely angled and secured and they took time to show me what they did and explain how things work. Took about 5 or 6 hours from start to finish. They also started the paper work for the OPA rebate and followed up afterwards to make sure that the furnace was working ok. In conclusion, I was very, very impressed by Spring Home and would absolutely recommend using them without any reservations whatsoever.

    Furnace/AC

    Cy was our saviour! Our 30 year old furnace died on a freezing cold Friday night. We sent Cy a SOS email expecting a response on Monday. But Cy responded right away and braved the snow storm Saturday morning to come to our house in Durham Region. He even offered to bring portable heaters for us from his Markham office, which required him to make the extra trip in the opposite direction. Our new furnace was professionally installed first thing Monday morning and we were toasty warm again. Without any prompt from us, Shirley in the office started the energy rebate process immediately after the installation. Our government rebate application was approved almost immediately. Very caring and professional company with excellent staff. Keep up the good work! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

    Furnace Repair

    Attention (new) homeowners. If you are looking for a heating/cooling company that you can be comfortable with - - - go for Spring Home! Our furnace broke down and after searching in the internet, talking to at least 8 other companies, I decided to work with Spring Home. From the very first interaction with their installation and service manager via email, you already get the feeling that they know their work and that they are sincere. I say this because even via email, they were already giving me an initial assessment of what the problem may be, and not just pushing to replace my furnace with a new one. They also reply immediately and even late at night. Then once I called their customer service (Cheryl) she was also very accommodating. Explaining to me in detail what the next steps are and was very nice to talk to. Then the day before my technician was scheduled to arrive, I spoke to the installation and service guy I was emailing with and also took the time to explain to me what to expect during the diagnosis and assured me that they will first try to repair the furnace and wont suggest to replace if it is not needed yet. Then today, Tiger, the service tech, came on time and looked very professional and you know he is an expert just by the way he checked and worked on my furnace. He was also answering all my questions and more importantly, in the end, my furnace is now working!!! To top it all off, I just found out that the service and installation manager I was emailing, texting, and talking to over the phone, was the owner himself! I am not surprised that this company is really about customer satisfaction. Will definitely work with them again in the future. I am now even thinking when to schedule their next visit for furnace and AC maintenance. Again, I highly recommend this company. If you are looking for a heating/cooling company that really provides value and great customer service... call Spring Home!!!

    HRV Installation

    Our old HRV came to an end. We had Spring Home install our furnace and air conditioner last year and were very happy with them so we had them install a new Lennox HRV. We are extremely happy with how they handled this installation as well. Wilson and Randy did a great job. Thanks guys.

    furnace and water heater

    A few weeks back, I dropped into my neighbour’s place. It was a cold morning, about -21C, and her furnace had been out for just over a day. She explained to me that she had contacted her gas supplier who had put her in touch with a furnace company. A repair person had arrived shortly thereafter, but he did not have the parts required for a repair. He ordered up the parts, estimated the cost of repair to be approximately $300, in addition to the $125 call-out fee she'd already paid, and also arranged for a salesperson to come give her a price for a new furnace. Some of the things my neighbour said did not seem quite right and I suggested she contact Cy at Spring Home Heating for a second opinion. She was a little reluctant to contact anyone one else, so I called Cy and asked if he’d be able to come over that day if needed. He said he’d find a way to fit us in and also asked if my neighbour needed any extra heaters to tide her over. Well, I stayed with my neighbour until the first estimator had come and gone. His estimate seemed a bit high and his recommendations did not sound quite right. I spoke to my neighbour and managed to talk her into letting Cy come over. He was there within 2 hours with electric heaters in case they were needed. I showed Cy around the furnace room and discussed the situation. The failed furnace was 50 years old. The cold air return had been partially crushed, the exhaust stack was flimsily attached to the chimney. On top of that, there was a 9-year-old water heater that had been placed tightly against the old furnace. The pipes and exhaust to and from the water heater looked like a jigsaw puzzle. The exhaust stack was actually connected to the same stack as the furnace and looked ready to fall off. Cy and I then went back upstairs to discuss the situation with the owner. The original estimator had said the water heater would be moved at no cost using existing material. The water heater as installed, however, did not meet code. Intake and exhaust stacks would have to be changed. Cy took that into account, suggested a complete change of water heater companies. He also suggested a larger furnace than the first estimator, something I had asked the first company about. He left about an hour or so after his arrival and left the electric heaters behind, no strings attached. My neighbour was still thinking about paying for the repair and waiting a few months before using the first company to do the replacement. However, as we reviewed the quotes and recommendations, she decided that Spring was the way to go. Better furnace, new rental water heater, guaranteed next day installation, all for a lower price. More importantly, Cy had done a thorough job assessing the situation and my neighbour was confident there’d be no hidden expenses. Next day, Randy and Wilson showed up. Wilson had done an install at my home the year before and I was pleased to see him. I have yet to meet anyone at Spring who has not been great. The two of them introduced themselves to my neighbour, explained what would happen, laid out a bunch of protective cloths and got to work. My neighbour really appreciated their hard work and repeatedly told me how nice they were. The install wasn’t easy. Randy and Wilson started at 10 and wound up at about 8 that evening. By the time they were done, my neighbour not only had great new furnace and water heater, she also had a lot more space in her furnace room now that the plumbing jigsaw had been removed. The install looked very professional. Randy and Wilson then ran us through the paperwork. That is when the only glitch occurred. The contract for the water heater rental did not seem quite right. I recommended that my neighbour not sign until that bit was checked out. Next day we spoke to Cheryl at Spring Home Heating. She listened to our concerns, looked into them, explained exactly what was occurring with the rental and basically made everything right. That was important because my neighbour is on a fixed income and cannot afford surprises. Rest assured, she did not get any surprises and she has nothing but good things to say about Cy, Wilson, Randy, Cheryl and the whole team at Spring. I have used Spring and have recommended Spring to friends and neighbours. Spring gives good advice, does great work and is competitive on price. To Cy, Cheryl and everyone at Spring, Thank You.
