    Service call

    I wanted to take a minute to recap what a great experience I had with Spring Home Heating & Cooling Systems and how they saved me $3,000!!! I originally called a local HVAC company who did “free estimates” – big mistake. The technician arrived while I was at work and my wife was home to take the appointment. We needed to have the A/C serviced before closing the sale of our house in a week. He advised that the air conditioner was fine but took the liberty of checking out my furnace without asking me. He then called and advised he red flagged (gas would be shut off to my house if not corrected) my furnace stating that the CO2 reading was way too high and unsafe at 52ppm’s. He suggested I buy a new furnace from him ASAP to complete the sale of my home. I didn’t agree originally and he called me 3 times to try and get the sale. I almost forked over the cash but just had a bad feeling about the whole thing and luckily decided to shell out money for a second opinion. I found Spring Home Heating after carefully checking reviews and they professional from the start. Cheryl not only spent hours discussing the situation with me before I even paid them a dime but also provided me with information that stopped me from buying a new furnace. She was able to dispatch a technician before my close date and he was able to adjust valves (which I’m sure the original technician set that way) to bring the reading down to 0ppm’s!! The furnace was fine and they saved me from a a mistake that would have cost our family $3,000!! I’ve since disputed with MasterCard and have been refunded the $150 the original technician charged me. I would STONGLY recommend Spring Home & Heating Systems Inc. to anyone that would like to work with a company that is honest, customer service centric and fully knowledgeable. I will use them exclusively moving forward without hesitation.

    New furnace, A/C, Boiler

    Spring Home helped to replace the furnace, air condition and water boiler for us this summer. The work was completed very professionally, and at the time extremely efficiently. All the installation finished on the same day, and the results are impeccable. The price is reasonable. I will always highly recommend Spring Home.

    HVAC

    Had them provide an estimate to me and the sales rep (Cy Goh) was extremely helpful and informative. I had 2 other quotes from other companies and Cy seemed to be the most knowledgeable. He encouraged me to get quotes from others and to compare. Though their prices are not the lowest, their expertise, service and the quality of their installation are well worth the price. We have not had any issues since installing this back in August 2014. All of the rebates were done for us without any hassles. The installation was done on time and the guys cleaned up after the work. Would not hesitate to recommend Spring Home to others!

    New AC & furnace

    We had quotes from 4 companies before having Spring recommended by a friend. Jack showed up the next day to give us a quote and there was no pressure. Two of the quotes we had were from other Lennox dealers and Spring was able to not only get us a cheaper quote but also step up to the Lennox Elite series equipment & thermostat. Jack never used pressure as a sales tactic, he just showed us what he could offer and what he thought we needed. On install day, the installation techs Tiger & Ahmir showed up on time and were ready to begin work. They laid floor drop sheets to keep the house clean and explained what they were doing every step of the way. They also made sure the equipment was installed where and how we wanted it. For the AC, they made a new slab with the concrete/foam pad so it looks very professional. The furnace was also finished neat and tidy and any consequent mess was cleaned up. Before leaving they made sure to show us everything for our approval and made sure we knew how everything operated. After it was all done, we decided to upgrade to the Lennox iComfort thermostat and Jack and the team were very accommodating to that request. All in all, Spring was the right choice and we are very happy with our new heating & cooling. Would highly recommend!

    new furnace

    Cy and his team were excellent and very professional. Our furnace needed to be replaced immediately as we have a newborn. Within a week we had a fantastic new furnace installed. Especially love the remote temperature control. We can adjust the house temperature from our phone. I will absolutely use them again!

    humidifier installation and annual service

    It has been over a year since Spring Heating installed a new furnace and air conditioner in our Toronto home. The systems are great and we still appreciate the great service provided by the Spring team at the time of install. Since then, we have had Spring Heating send Tiger -our original installer- back twice, once in the spring to do the annual AC maintenance and just recently to do the regular fall check up of the furnace. During this last visit, Tiger also installed a humidifier to add that little bit of moisture we lacked last winter when the temperatures dropped and the air dried up. As always, Tiger did great work! To everyone at Spring Heating -Tiger, Cheryl, Cy, George...- Thank you for the great service.

    Installation of boiler and water tank

    I found Spring Home to be very responsible from the initial meetings to discuss my needs to the eventual installation of a new Viessmann 100 boiler and power-vented water tank on September 12, 2014. We had been experiencing problems with our old boiler for years and while winter has yet to arrive, we are hopeful that the new system will answer our needs. The installation was done by a team of guys who really seemed to know what they were doing and all was handled well paying close attention to keeping the house clean. So far, so good.

    Furnace Maintenance

    Two part maintenance package. I'm only reviewing the furnace maintenance for now. Spring Home came in and did a great job giving our Gas Furnace a once over. They also advised us about our gas fireplace and provided some simple information for us. They did a really great job and now we have peace of mind.

    heat recovery ventilator and air cleaner

    Purchased a heat recovery ventilator and air cleaner. Had a completely great experience with Spring Home. From purchase to installation, found everyone to helpful and professional. During the installation Randy was great. He answered questions and relieved any concerns I may have had about the installation. He ensured to explain what was being done every step of the way. They cleaned up after the job was done and he went through the remaining paperwork with me. Even after the installation, had a problem with the product rebate from the manufacturer, but they were quick to help (within a matter of minutes). Even had a follow up call later to ensure everything was fine with the unit.

    New Air Conditioner Installation

    The motor on our air conditioner was not working and a local company quoted $900 to change it. We decided to get a new air conditioner instead of fixing our very old one. My son recommended Spring Home Heating & Cooling Systems because of the good experience he had with them with his recent purchase. I got three quotes including one from Spring Home Heating & Cooling Systems. I went ahead with Spring Home because their pricing was competitive and the representative, Lynn Yu was very professional. She was technically knowledgeable, had a consumer caring attitude and did not try to up sell. Just as my son had indicated, the installers were also professional, friendly and did a good clean up job after they finished the installation. My wife and I are very pleased with the product and service we received from Spring Home Heating & Cooling Systems and would highly recommend them.
