    Furnace, A/C, air filter replacement

    We were on the market for a new furnace and A/C unit for quite some time, so we had time to shop around. We had several appointments with various companies, but we decided to hire Spring Home to do the job because we were impressed with them. Cy from Spring Home was extremely knowledgeable of the product, did not try to sell us anything we did not need, he explained everything in a very friendly manner, offered a competitive price, and checked back with us after the installation. In the day of the installation, the team of two technicians showed up as scheduled, did a very good job with the installation. They worked until everything was ready; they were very organized and cleaned up after the work was done. We are happy to recommend them to anybody who needs a reliable company, who work as a team for customer satisfaction.

    Lennox Furnace

    My furnace broke down at christmas and i was going through homestars to see which of the top rated heating companies will come to save me. After calling about 3 companies, non of them wanted to come the same day so i had to keep on looking. I came across Spring Home and they were happy to come by the same day. When the technician came he informed me that they need to replace something inside which is going to cost about $600. He also informed me that the previous house owner installed the cheapest furnace that he could find and it made sense because the furnace that broke down was about 5 years old and was also suppose to be high efficiency. My option was to fix the cheap furnace for $600 and hope it will last some more time or get a top of the line Lennox for $3000 minus a $250 manufacture rebate. We decided to go for it and they came the next morning to install it, i was so happy i didn't have to wait any longer. When it was all done, boy what a surprise, the new Lennox was so much better. It heated the house in a very short period of time and stayed hot consistently, was very quiet (i couldn't even tell when it was on and when it was off) and the house just feels alot warmer than before. I was so happy i picked these guys, very helpful, very knowledgeable and fair. I would recommend them to anyone that asks. Thank you guys.

    Replace furnace

    During our house renovation, our furnace had a problem. We called Spring Home company and spoke to George. He explained us the products, installation, warranty and OPA rebate in details and answered all of our questions. We decided to use Spring Home as our contractor to install our new furnace because of George’s knowledge and professional service. At the next day, two technicians went to our house on time and they were great with their installation, everything went smooth, professional and quick. We were happy with their work as well as the new furnace. Thank you George and your team!

    New Lennox Furnace

    I recently was in the market for a new furnace, and went about getting multiple quotes. I found Spring Home Heating and Cooling on Home Stars and had them quote. As I discovered I didn't just receive a typical quote as Cy was extremely helpful in educating me on the workings of the various high efficiency furnaces on the market. He explained the workings of my current furnace, but also how the install would take place both inside and out. He also talked about how the air conditioning works with the new furnace that I would receive. One thing I was very thankful for was that Cy pointed out there was a code violation with my hot water tank, he flagged it to me and explained the violation. Not only was the venting that was installed by another company not to code it was also a dangerous situation to my family. So as you can imagine I went with Spring homes. The two technicians that came to install the furnace were on time, friendly and kept things very clean during the entire install. They explained all the steps and took me carefully through everything after the job was complete. I would definitely recommend Cy's team again and plan to hire him back when we are ready to purchase a new air conditioner.

    Furnace, AC, humidifier

    I needed to replace an older furnace with a high efficiency one and create additional living space with a more compact installation on the lower level of my home. I also wanted to reduce noise as the furnace room is adjacent to living space. Cy did a prompt, careful and knowledgeable assessment of the situation, gave me a good price, recommending a Lennox SLP98V furnace. I opted to replace the central air unit at the same time. Cy was also able to recommend a third party who took down the furnace room walls after consulting with installations manager, George. With furnace room walls down, the new furnace and AC coil were installed (at the promised price) by Tiger and crew, and, I am very happy with the result. I have upgraded the HVAC, gained additional living space and found the new furnace was so much quieter than the old one that I had trouble falling asleep on the upper level the first night - and that is before the furnace room walls are back up. I had opted for Lennox's iComfort wi-fi thermostat in the installation (so I can monitor and adjust the HVAC when away from home), and as a result I found the humidity level of my home was too low for me. So I had Spring Home install the small Lennox bypass humidifier. This was done promptly and in such a fashion as to optimize the amount of living space while providing easy access for future servicing. The installed unit is able to raise the RH to 45% no problem. I have set it back to normal levels and am enjoying the absence of overly dry air in my home during winter. Spring Home will return this spring to install the AC compressor. In my opinion this company provides excellent service and value. Everyone I dealt with (sales, installation and administration) displayed an effort to, and did, satisfy. Service was prompt, all questions were answered by the team as things progressed and Cy followed up after each installation. I will be quite happy to use them for regular maintenance in the future.

    Replacing Boiler

    Spring Home was an amazing company to deal with. Initially I called them to just do a maintenance on our really old boiler. The technician talked to me about installing a new boiler and why the old one was dangerous and inefficient. He didn't push the sale and just wanted to inform us. The boiler was really old. He was very helpful and we decided to change the boiler which was the best decision as the new boiler works like a charm and they hooked it up to my Nest thermostat. They finished a big job in a day working from morning and night. Kept everything clean and were very friendly. I would definitely recommend them. The price was also reasonable.

    Replace Air conditioner

    In late June, we had problems with our existing air conditioner - a twelve year old unit which required replacement. We had sourced about four different contractors from Homestar but we found Cy Goh from Spring Home Heating and Cooling most effective in explaining his product, installation, warranty and OPA rebate. The price given was competitive but not the cheapest and with a minor room for negotiation. In terms of the the time for installation, it was not flexible - he indicated the slots available and since it was not an emergency situation with health at our home, he did not want to bump other clients who had asked for service earlier. That is what you would want also for your installation date that you will not get bumped once you have signed the contract. As promised, the crew of two technicians arrived on time and installed the new air conditioner. The new conditioner was installed in the new location on the side of the house and the refrigerant at the old location was properly reclaimed and sealed pipes were properly sealed. The new location had a steep grade, so the installation team used extra gravel and platform to level it properly. After the installation and testing, the installation team displayed the level of pressure and explained the functioning of the air conditioner and answered our questions to our satisfaction. I would recommend Cy and Spring Home Heating & Cooling for all and any heating and cooling service. It is hard to find reliable contractors to get the work done properly and with the experience I had with Spring Home Heating & Cooling, I would rate them at 10 for price, timing, quality of workmanship and after service support to get the OPA rebate. Thank you Cy and Tiger for doing an excellent job. I wish I had the same experience with other contractors that I had to do work at my home.

    Furnance & AC Replacement

    I contacted Spring Home based on all the great reviews on Homestars. Cy was very knowledgeable and professional. The price was very good comparing with few quotes I got from other companies. The technician Randy and his team came on schedule. They were very professional and did an amazing job installing the new AC and furnace. After the installation, Randy explained how the new system works and helped program the new Wi-Fi thermostat. He and his crew were very helpful and they left the place spotless. I would highly recommend this company for any heating and cooling service.

    removal of oil tank and installation of new gas furnace and AC

    We interviewed about 5 companies and Cy at Spring Home was a clear winner. He was organised, professional and informative; we had faith in him from the beginning and this held true. He helped us from the very beginning with the frustrating Enbridge application and waiting process (give yourselves time people! It takes 10 weeks in Toronto!). And his crew was ready to spring into action when we got an earlier gas hookup date. The installers/technicians were courteous, professional and quick! They had the chimney lined, AC installed and the new furnace in place within a few hours - checking in with us along the way to ensure that we knew what was going on and where things were going to be. We were very pleased with their work and don't hesitate to recommend them to others.

    Furnace and AC Replacement

    Cy made the time to arrive on site the day that we asked for a quote, was very informative, and suggested the best AC/Furnace to fit our home, and have the best OPA and manufacturer rebate. The installing team (Tiger and Wilson) were quick, courteous, and willing to stay as long as it took to get the job done. We asked them to finish the installation the next day as it was getting late, and their main concern was not their own time, but the fact that our children wouldn't be warm enough. We were good with supplemental heating for the night, and they arrived on site early the next day to finish the install. Even with a few site conditions due to the age of the home, we were able to talk through options to come up with the best solution. They were receptive to any suggestions we had for the installation as well. The furnace works great, and the home is a much more comfortable temperature. Thanks!
