    Leaking toilet and Shower faucet issue

    Alex from DrainCom, came to our house and fixed a leaking toilet as well as a shower faucet that apparently had been originally installed with a wrong direction flow. Alex, was patient and explained the issue as well as the solution. He was courteous while keeping focused to solve the problem. I would use DrainCom and Alex again if I have any future plumbing issues.

    Basement drain

    I called around a half a dozen plumbing/drain companies for estimates. From the very beginning, I was so impressed with DrainCom's employees. They were so professional. They did their best to help me save money, rather than trying to sell me products and services I didn't need. I felt like I could totally trust them. In the end, Borys did most of the work. We had a very complicated basement drain issue, and he ended up spending around 15 hours working on the problem on three separate occasions. The first time he came, he still much longer than he had anticipated, which meant that he ended up leaving late on a Friday evening. He was always really patient and good humoured about things, and extremely competent. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company, and will call them again for all my future plumbing needs.

    fixed hot water line

    Hot water was always sluggish to kitchen. Boris came and figured out the plumbing and found a tap in the ceiling in the basement that was not fully turned on by contractors. When he loosened it water was restored.

    Main floor leak

    We called DrainCom after we noticed a leak in our main floor ceiling in the morning. Alex came by that same afternoon to assess the situation. The leak turned out to be coming from an issue in our roof. Alex was not able to fix the issue, but he was able to tell us where the water was coming from. He was very professional and took the time to figure out where the water was coming from. I would highly recommend Alex and the team at DrainCom.

    Quick, efficient, and great value.

    There was a putrid sewage-like smell that was coming from our upstairs bathroom, but nowhere else in the home. I called a few other companies on Homestars, but DrainCom was the only one able to send a technician the same afternoon when I was also available. Alex was awesome and punctual! He listened to all the symptoms and listed out the most probably causes, and noted the ones that are least invasive. Turns out, the culprit was a faulty seal that connects the toilet to the drain pipe. The seal was cracked and allowed some exhaust air to come out into the bathroom. Alex was finished in under 30 minutes... emptying the toilet bowl, removing it, changing the bowl ring, and reinstalling the toilet... all while keeping the bathroom tidy and clean. While repairing, he informed me about how a cracked bowl ring can occur and the mostly likely reasons for some failing sooner than others. Knowledge bonus! Thank you Alex!

    Waterproofing

    Thanks guys! Super happy that we got this company. Waterproofing was done professionaly clean and fast, plus plumbing work very very nicely! Our best wishes to Draincom! P.S. Got the blessing having Alex around)

    Great Underpinning Job

    Draincom underpinned my basement last year. It used to be only 6' ceilings but now it is 8' 6" which made the entire place much more habitable. I had shopped around and they were the cheapest option. I also had them install a sump pump and even a back up sump pump. I had them come in a year later to check on it to see if it's all ok. The did the normal maintenance and didn't even charge me for it. I really appreaciated how they don't try to take advantage of anyone. They really did a great job and I would highly recommend them.     Main Water Line Replacement + Backwater Valve Install

    Fantastic experience. Everything you want in a contractor. Good price. Completed the work on time and as promised. Good quality. Showed up on time and worked hard. Alex, Anatoly, and the rest of the crew did a great job, and I would highly recommend them. The details: We just purchased a new home with considerable plumbing needs. Among other things, we needed to update the main water line, install a backwater valve, and replace a number of the secondary pipes/valves. Alex oversaw the project and was excellent; he was often at our house late into the evening working on the job. Really, he was terrific. Can't say enough about him and the quality of his work. The rest of the crew also went above and beyond. We were very grateful to have stumbled upon Draincom in our search for a high-quality plumber.

    Basement Leak Repair

    Home repairs are stressful but DrainCom made it easy. Serge came and looked at the foundation and explained to me exactly how they could solve my problem. The price quoted was reasonable, and they were able to start the same week. The crew worked hard and cleaned up after themselves. You would never know half my house had been dug up. DrainCom did excellent work. Thank you!

    Clogged Drain

    Called Draincom due to a clogged drain pipe. They showed up on time and were quite friendly. Vlad was very polite and guided me through the process. Overall the job was very clean and professional. I would definitely recommend Draincom to my friends and family.
