    Sanitary pipe repacement

    Always spoke to a person when I called, never got a machine. Santina was very nice and efficient . Toni came very late to inspect pipe and I wasn't charged extra, only the $250 +tax to clear pipe. (My basement was flooded because roots were obstructing old cracked clay pipe.) Following his diagnosis the faulty section of pipe was replaced , two people only took a morning and half an afternoon. Remarkably little damage to garden around digging site. This cost $2200 +tax, and it's guaranteed for 25 years. Very happy with the work done, the service, and the friendly and courteous attitude with which it was provided. I thoroughly recommend calling these people.

    Plumbing: Kitchen sink(s)

    I contacted DrainCom because my kitchen sink wasn't sinking... at all. It takes several hours to drain just a little bit. I recently purchased this home. Alex came the same day (about 1-2 hours after I first called) and got to work. Really great guy and funny, too. He fixed the sink and wouldn't leave the job half done. I was very impressed with his work. I would recommend Alex and this company to anyone interested in a plumber. The problem was the sink was not well done at all. The flow of water was upstream rather than down. The built-up of grease was very high. The pipe was too long. Very not well taken care of at all. The previous owners of this home must have been lazy and careless. Plumbing isn't the only surprise they left behind. Through Alex's perseverance, this is one less problem we need to worry about. I am impressed how well the sink works, I have never seen it perform so well. Thank you Alex!

    Basement

    We have a place out in Hamilton and Draincom Waterproofing came to rescue my basement, halfway renovated when noticed water leaks. Toni stopped by and examined the foundation damage and made an assessment about the work needed to be done, he explained by detail procedure of waterproofing and gave us couple of different options, I left my fate in his hands. He sealed my basement up, gave us 25 years warranty on the seal and we have bean leak free ever since. Very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They did a clean and neat work ! I would strongly recommend Draincom to anyone in the same predicament.

    Kitchen repairs

    Borys made this a very pleasant experience. He identified the problem with our stack quickly and repaired it, ending a two year headache. Very knowledgeable, friendly and eager to share his insights. Sink baskets and drain pipes were replaced as well. The price was very reasonable considering a two and a half hour visit. I would highly recommend Borys and Drain.com and will use them again in the future.

    Excellent work, very professional and friendly

    Alex came because there was a leak in our main drain stack which appeared to be coming from one of our bathrooms. He was very professional and even put on shoe covers as he was walking through the house. He traced the problem to our toilet which he fixed, and also fixed another faucet in a different bathroom for us. Overall very satisfied with the service.

    Great customer service

    Boris visited our house and was a pleasure to work with. He was punctual, friendly & knowledgeable. He took the time to walk us through his observations and provided a great resolution to our concern.

    Plumbing / Mixing Valve Replacement

    I was not getting hot water to some of my taps and low pressure in the same sinks. I contacted DrainCom because I thought I had narrowed down the issue to a mixing valve that needed to be replaced. The plumber arrived on-time as expected and was extremely professional and polite. After several questions, he quickly determined that the mixing valve was likely not the problem. Instead, he unscrewed the tip of the faucet tap, which contains a filter. After turning on the faucet without the filter, the pressure and hot water were fine. Instead of charging me over $300 for a mixing value replacement, he was honest to point out all I needed to do was replace the faucet caps. Suffice to say I was embarrassed at such a simple fix, but I absolutely appreciated his honesty. Thank-you DrainCom! ---------- EDIT: 2016/05/27 After a few months, the problem returned - no hot water. The mixing valve was the problem after all and had to be replaced, along with the hot and cold water valves that had started to leak much more. I was reasonably satisfied with the price after negotiating from this new plumber and the work he did was excellent. I would still recommend DrainCom, but I've dropped my rating from 10 to 8, because I wish the original plumber had replaced the mixing valve the first time and also taken action with the hot and cold water valves that were leaking (he had indicated they weren't a problem at the time). Addressing this back then would have saved me some time booking a second appointment and money. 1st visit: $65, 2nd visit, $565. Total = $630

    Fauset replacement. Bath diverter replacement. And faucet fix.

    Very good experience. Boris took the time to get the job done properly. Very reasonable prices for the time he spent. I Would definatly use again. Very professional and knowledgeable

    Kitchen plumbing leak

    Our kitchen drain was leaking into the basement so we decided to call DrainCom based on the reviews. Borys arrived and within 10 minutes was able to identify the source of the leak. Borys was up-front, honest and reasonable in his quotes, clearly explaining what work needs to be done to remedy the problem. The fix was completely in a very professional manner. He also took the time to answer every question that I had and even gave me tips on how to properly maintain the drainage pipes. I highly recommend his service.

    Leaking Shower

    We noticed water damage on the ceiling around a light fixture, directly below the bath/shower on the second floor. I took the fixture out, and saw that when the shower was on there was a slow leak. I called DrainCom, expecting to have to rip out the wall and replace the plumbing. Val did a quick inspection, identified the problem as a faulty faucet connection, and fixed it all in less than an hour. Val was courteous, professional, and very clean! Would recommend Draincom to anyone needing a plumber in the GTA.
