We recently bought a new dishwasher but when it came to install it, the pipes and valves were a mess. Les came on time for the job and dug in even though he wasn't prepared for how complicated it turned out to be. He was very respectful and was very clear about each step he had to take. At one point, I thought he'd have to remove a fair amount of ceiling tile in our shower to do the job but he managed to complete it with only minor impact to our shower tile. When we was done, he cleaned up and made sure no debris was left behind. I'd Use Drain Com again without hesitation.

I called Draincom when my new sink drain was not draining quickly. My call was answered promptly, appt set for the next day and Val arrived right on time, as promised. Val examined the drainage pipes and correctly ascertained that they had not been done by a plumber. He put them back to code with a minimum of fuss, but the drain still did not drain properly. He then snaked out the drain, which made a big difference, solving 90% of the problem. Apparently my venting is not adequate for the drain and there is no real solution. But the drain works much better now and I am happy to say that I trust Val and would happily use him again or recommend him to others.

Draincom just finished replacing the old cast-iron drain stack in my house in Hamilton. The stack had split open, leaving water leaking down through the main floor wall into the basement, rendering the upstairs bathroom unusable. I found Draincom on Homestars and was very impressed with their reviews. I called them for a quote and Valentyn arrived punctually to assess the situation. He was extremely professional, knowledegable, and honest, and gave a quote which was more competitive than the other contractor I called. We scheduled Valentyn to do the job the following week, and I was not disappointed. He did a great job, on schedule and on budget, and I'm thrilled to say that within a day we had a working bathroom once again upstairs. He also did a great job in cleaning up afterwards. Can't recommend Valentyn and Draincom enough, and am now letting all my friends know about them. Well done, and thanks, Draincom!

We are very pleased with the work completed by Valentyn B. He took the time to answer all our questions and ensure we understood the work required to complete the job. He quickly assessed the cracked PVC pipe connected to the bathtub drain and determined the repair could be completed by cutting a small opening in the adjacent closet. Within a short period of time the proper parts were acquired and installed efficiently. His work was completed with a final check to ensure there were no leaks. Also, Valentyn B. reviewed a leaking outdoor valve and provided us with his professional opinion. Overall we are very satisfied with the outcome of his work and his ability to communicate effectively. This is something you do not see every day. Thank you!

I made contact with DrainCom and received immediate service for my bathroom issue. Les and his partner arrived - diagnosed the problem ( clogged and leaking drain), provided the cost and full description of service. Les was fast - did an amazing job. I highly recommend them.

We had several small plumbing issues to deal with and after reading reviews on this site decided to call DrainCom. Valentyn was focused on unclogging 4 slow draining sinks and one shower drain - lots of gunk after 22 years! He also replaced the valve connected to our humidifier and reconfigured and tightened up loose joints on our outside hose bib. It was great to get all these tasks done in one visit and the cost was very reasonable for the 3 hours it took to complete the whole job. Valentyn was very courteous and took his time to get each task done correctly. I would definitely call them back for future plumbing jobs!

I called DrainCom after my husband and I were unsuccessful in unclogging our kitchen drain. We bought a 25' long drain gun and after several attempts it was still clogged. Valentyn came with his commercial 30' drain gun, ran it through and it was still clogging. He then used a plunger to try to dislodge the clog, but no luck. He went out and brought in his 50' drain gun, ran it through. Still the sink was filling with water… Some more vigorous plunging but it was a bad blockage and the water wasn't running through. Valentyn explained that most pipes are 1.5" in diameter but ours is 2" and the augers he has are for 1.5" pipes. He assured me that he wouldn't leave my house until the drain was cleared. He went out and brought in his 60' drain gun that's meant for 3" pipes and that did the trick! He spent over 2 hours at my house to solve the problem and considering this, the cost was reasonable. Our sink is working smoothly again so I'm very happy. Thank you!

Very pleased with Valentyn and his work, he's very personable, honoured his estimate and was punctual for both estimate and on the day of the job. I needed two toilets and a new kitchen faucet plumbed, he showed up right on time at 1pm, worked efficiently and quickly and was done the job in just about two and a half hours! Once done, he helped me move the old toilets as this was in a condo which was really appreciated. If you're looking for a plumber and don't have someone trusted or have anxiety in finding good trades people as I did, use Valentyn, you will not be disappointed!

Valentyn from Draincom came to fix our bathtub faucet leak. The job involved much more time than it required as our bathtub faucet is old. Valentyn was quick to diagnose the fault and was also efficient in installing the new cartridge.
