We were extremely impressed with DrainCom who we hired for a recent waterproofing job. Carl was thorough, professional, always accessible and able diagnose our problems and provide a variety of potential solutions. When challenges came up during the work (don't you love old houses), he again was able to provide us with good solutions. The crew completing the work was extremely hardworking, courteous, professional, and worked late one evening to get the job completed. They did a great job keeping the job site clean as well. Afterwards, Alex dropped by to install an alarm on the sump pump and did a great job and took the time to explain to me how it functioned. I would highly recommend DrainCom to anyone, and in fact they were recommended to me by a family member to begin with.

We have used this company twice. After the big rainfall flood of 2013 in GTAA we used them to build window wells because we had some water come in the basement through a window when those torrential rains came down! As long as they were digging we asked them to waterproof the side of the house. They did an excellent job. They were very courteous and efficient. We have waited 6 months to post the review and have had no problems with water entry. We are ready for the rains of 2014! Ps I have a highly critical wife and she was happy.

Our daughter plugged our upstairs toilet with a box of Q-tips.We were unsuccessful in clearing the blockage We found DrainCom via Homestars. Rob came to our house on time and quicklly unblocked the toilet. He was very courteous and cleaned up after himself. We were very pleased and would definitely use Rob again!!!

Our hot water pressure was very low, and then we lost hot water. Robert came into fix it, and we were very happy with the service. We had the same issue happen again, and Robert came once again and fixed it. Service was very fast and friendly. We even had follow up phone calls to make sure everything was ok.

We were aware of DrainCom from various satisfied neighbours so called them when we had a minor basement flood. Everyone we have dealt with has been respectful and committed to excellent customer service. The quote was handled promptly and professionally, the crew hard working and the clean-up completed in a satisfactory manner. A positive experience.

We had a fun surprise on Wednesday - water pouring down from over our furnace from inaccessible pipes that had been built over by the previous owner's awesome installation furnace crew years ago. Long story short I had to find someone to remove the ductwork. Les from Draincom came over at 2 and did the repair right away. He was very friendly and took the time to discuss the situation with me. He also replaced one of the old shutoff valves that was leaking. After I noticed some new weird pressure variance issues with the hot water that had not been there before, he came back today and replaced the second old shut off valve on the hot water which seems to have corrected the issue (in my initial trouble-shooting I was turning on and off these old cheap valves which may not have been touched in 20 years or more, which likely caused a but to come loose). So I found Les very responsive and he had a proactive and friendly attitude.

Corey Costello was very knowledgeable and provided us with all the information we needed. She had the Project coordinator at our house the same week to review the work required and give us an estimate. The workers arrived an time and completed the work on schedule. They have to return when the weather is warmer to dig and install an external pipe for the water overflow. Corey will be providing us with all the documents required by the city of Mississauga. We have recommended Draincom to neighbours.

I first reached out to DrainCom to get a quote for installing a back water valve and addressing sump pump issues I was having. Carl came out within 24 hours to meet with me and listen to my concerns. I found him very knowledgeable and professional and he provided me with a quote and also said he would help me with the city rebate. When I compared his quote and service with other providers, I was very impressed with the professionalism, support and fees. The team consisting of Ievgenii and his crew showed up on time when they said they would. We found out that the back water valve needed to be installed in a different place and would require us to move out furniture. At the same time they found a cracked pipe under the floor in our basement and provided me with a quote that was reasonable. The crew came back on Saturday at the time they promised and proceeded to do the work. In completing the back water valve installation we found water in the basement which was due to improper waterproofing done by a prior contractor. They provided me with another quote and repaired two walls to address the waterproofing issues. At all times the team was courteous and clean. They did a fantastic job and Ievgenii showed up several times to supervise the work. It was a stressful time for us and they worked around my schedule so that the noise was least disruptive during my working hours. I work from home. I definitely recommend this company to anyone and will use them again. They were punctual, did what they promised and cleaned up.

My daughter flushed small tissue pack in plastic wrap which caused blockage in powder room. The toilet was overflowing, water first dripping through the floor to basement, a few moments later it was like a shower there. I was at a loss. It was after 6 pm. I frantically started calling local plumbing companies but they charged huge amounts just to go out. I was shocked as the local plumbing company I was calling was just 5 minutes drive from us. More than that, none was available at such an hour and most Toronto companies did not service Milton. My friend advised me Draincom. She used them for different plumbing issues in their house and liked their service. Their technician Rob was in Mississauga area and it did not take him long to come over to Milton. One hour later we were saved. He gave us a call while on the way and advised to shut off water. He was very professional and courteous, unplugged the blockage and took time giving answers to all the questions we had. Their magnet is now on my fridge and I highly recommend this company to all my friends and everybody else.

Hi guys I had called draincom as I was buying a house and wanted to check out the drainage. The office was so accommodating as I had a small window in which I needed them to do this inspection within the time I was having my home inspection. They sent me carl mc dowell and what a pleasure it was to have this guy. He was highly professional and knowledgable and made sure I understood everything. Luckily for me the drainage looks good and I even have the video to prove it. The same night he emailed me all the video so I could have it for my records.
