For years my basement suffered from dampness and increased humidity, thankfully a quick check from Draincom revealed a crack in the foundation which was easily rectified. Now that my basement is well sealed and waterproof I won't have to deal with the many critters taking refuge in my basement!

Draincom lowered the basement in our downtown Victorian this spring. The job came in on time and on budget. The crew was hard working and very nice. They cleaned up after themselves every day and kept us up to date on all the progress. Carl was our project manager and was always available. He checked in with us regularly and solved problems as they arose (and always do in a 100 year old house!) with little to no disruption to the progress of the job. It was a major reno that we had been dreading but it went very smoothly and we now enjoy a warm, dry comfortable basement.

Vasel was the one who guided us through in order to obtain the best results to waterproof our home. He took the time to carefully explain and provide feedback as to what was best for our home. He returned our calls immediately and made sure that when his team was working at our home that he would follow through and pass by to make certain that everything was going as planned. Excellent job Vasel and thank you for your hard work at all times.

They stand by their work. 6 Months ago they dug and seal my foundation real well but a month ago we had rain that went on for 24 hours and there was a minor leak. Call them and they came back with in 24 hours and re dug and resealed everything. Great Service from them

Our townhouse is only 7 1/2 years old and unfortunately NOT covered by the Ontario NEW home warranty, referred to as 'Tarion'...which only warranties up to 7 years. After a very heavy and concentrated rain storm in early October 2011, water penetrated through 2 foundation cracks and several 're-bar' locations which were improperly filled by the original builder, 7+ years ago. I procured several quotes on this major repair, some doing the job from the inside and some doing the job from the outside...as the basement area is fully finished...doing the repair from the inside was not an option...besides the cost to do this from the inside would have been double. After checking with the Better Business Bureau and asking DrainCom for customer references etc (we followed up on all the references provided, and these references supported our 'feeling' that DrainCom represented the most viable, responsive,& cost effective quotation) Within the week of our flooded basement area, we decided to proceed with DrainCom...confirmed the quoted price with the Office (Lisa), set up a start date for the following Tuesday. As it turned out, received a phone call, Sunday afternoon, asking IF the contractors could start on Monday...WOW !! Of course, the sooner the better... Three individuals, 2 workers and their supervisor, appeared ON TIME as specified, and commenced work IMMEDIATELY....2 crew dug a trench 3 feet wide, 8 feet deep and 20 feet long in one 8 hour day, by HAND ! I might add that the soil here in Markham is heavy (wet) CLAY, and a back breaking job ! When asked how long this job would take...ANSWER: 2 days at the most and to their word it was fully completed by 4:30pm on Tuesday...that's checking the weeping tile condition, re-chiselling out the 2 foundation cracks and filling in with injection concrete, tarring the entire surface and putting on a new waterproof membrane, and of course re-filling the trench with the original clay soil and replacing the topsoil, so I could re-plant my shrubs and hostas etc. The area was throughly CLEAN-UP satisfactory, no Mess etc. As this trenched area will settle, some soil still to go back into this area has been left intentionally for a month or two down the road, for their return visit to 'top-up' any sunken-settled areas. I've worked in the Hospitality Industry in senior management roles for 30+ years and of course are exposed to many on-going maintenance and repair issues....I must say, in all honesty, that my experience in getting this particular troublesome and worrisome job done was a very pleasant and satisfying experience...my BIG KUDOS to Draincom and in particular, the worker 'Vitalii' (Steve) and his crew member. I have no hesitation in RECOMMENDING this company with regards to any 'wet basement' repairs !! From beginning to end, JOB accomplished in 2 days...and a dry basement !! YAHOO !!!

Carl from DrainCom who handled the job was very professional and courtius, It was a very complex job due to a large tree in the way of the new supply route and when there was any issues Carl would meet me on site to talk to me. Top rate highly recomend! P.S His crew, great guys.

the company is extremely professional and courteous. we were very happy with their service. they quoted us 3 days to finish the foundation waterproofing and completed it in 1 day! we asked them to come back to chk a water leak in our basement -it was a simple pipe sealing and they did it for free. overall very satisified. highly reccomended.

Drain Replacement – Waterproofing – Plumbing My problem started with some leaking issues in the basement in several areas and then my basement flooded after the last rainfall. I called Draincom in an emergency panic and the secretary was quick to help me and get someone out to have a look at no cost to me. The technician arrived at my house shortly after and camera inspected my drain only to find that my drain was clogged with massive roots which he showed me on his monitor. He explained to me that I needed to replace my clay pipe inside the house as it was damaged, he was able to get some guys there right away to start digging to replace the pipe. After speaking with my husband we decided to replace the entire pipe from the house to the street to stop all further problems that could occur.  Since the technician was already at the house we had him look at some of other problems we were having with the leaks through the wall, he provided me an estimate and we decided since we already had them there and the technician was very knowledgeable about the type of work we needed we got the basement waterproofed as well. The men at this company are very clean, neat, respectful and all around good people! The job was done properly and we are extremely happy. Their plumber came in and replaced our kitchen faucet (with one I supplied) and even gave us a discount because we had done so much work with Draincom. This company is one of the best companies I have ever had to deal with. I will always use them and I will always recommend them. My husband and I are absolutely happy!!!!!

A plumber from DrainCom came by and replaced my faucet. I’m very pleased with his work, price was good and he was very polite. I will call again for future work.
