    Toilet repair

I had a problem with my powder room toilet that wasn't urgent, But needed attention. I was at home today with my sick daughter so I thought I would organize for someone to come look at it in a couple weeks. Waterworks Plumbing put me on a list for service today and voila...problem solved. Michael was awesome. He gave me a range of options to fix the problem, provided me with a very clear price and once we talked through what the best option was he got right to work and fixed it! Can't thank Michael and Waterworks for their very professional service.

    Water Stain on Kitchen Ceiling

It’s very rare to receive the level of customer service Water Works provides from a plumbing company. From the moment we first contacted Water Works for service their CSR Natasha kept in contact with us before, during, and the service. Michael arrived to check our home for a water leak. He was very courteous and polite throughout the whole visit. Our leak ended being a false alarm, just water from an overflowed toilet. However Michael spent time providing us with tips to seal our baseboards to avoid future leaks and other misc. tips. Truly exceptional service. Their contact information will be a permanent magnet on our fridge!

Arrived home from vacation to frozen pipes and no water. Spoke with Natasha first thing on a monday morning and she had a plumber here in 30 minutes. Service was friendly, quick, clean, and resolved the problem immediately. Would highly recommend this company.

    Basement Water proofing

Our basement has been leaking rain water for a very long time and it was about time to do something about it. I called up WaterWorks in November to see what they could do. Larry came within a week to give us a diagnosis and found that there was a crack at the back of our house which needed to be sealed up. He suggested that we replace our old sump pump with a newer type, install a waterproofing membrane on the side of our house and weeping tiles, which would require digging. Work commenced a week later and when Chris and the crew started digging, they found out that the back of our house didn't have any proper foundation which explains why there was a crack... To be safe, they decided that it would be better to waterproof the basement inside instead of outside. They dug a trench all along the basement wall where rain water was seeping in to install the weeping tiles and put up waterproofing membrane on the wall as well. This way when the water does come in through the walls, it goes into the weeping tiles and to the sump pit to be drained out by the sump pump. This solution was not the most ideal but given the circumstances I guess it was probably the best that could be done. The work took about 7 days to finish. Mike followed up and came by to check out the job once it was done to make sure it was okay. It was also nice of Natasha to call each day to give us a heads up when the crew would be coming and also following up to make sure everything was going smoothly at the end of the day. Fast forward two months later, after a few snow storms and rain, our basement is still dry! There appears to be some water that still came in but it is still 99% less than what would have happened before. At least now we don't have to worry about our basement floor getting wet every time it rains. Thanks WaterWorks!

    Toilet tank rebuild

Natasha was great on scheduling and getting Micheal to come in to my office ASAP. It proved to be a big job but Micheal worked with me to classify (for pricing purposes) the job so I would pay the lower rate. He was so courteous and kept me apprised throughout the process. He was in and out in no time....really knows what he is doing. My staff are now happy, they have a working toilet....yea

    Shower catridge replacement

Service was very good. They worked with me to find out if they had the part in their van prior to making an appointment and they did not. So I sourced the new shower catridge myself. Plumbing came early (Tony). He was friendly ad polite. According to his price book, replacing a cartridge (that we supply) for my shower (which was already apart exposing the cartridge, was over $700. After some discussion, charged faucet replacement fee for kitchen instead ($415 with tax). He was here for 30 minutes (being generous on the timing), I had supplied the part, he removed one part, put the new one in, put handle back on and we were done. Service excellent, pricing very very high for what was delivered. Pricing alone will make me think twice about using them again. Paying a smaller plumber $150 or even $200 an hour would have been 1/2 the price. Update: I was contacted by Waterworks Plumbing to discuss this review and my experience. They commited to reviewing the work order and to get back to me, they suspected their new'ish plumber may have made a mistake. The called back the next day and advised that I should have been charged a lower rate (difference was about $71) and they were processing the order at the lower rate. I am satisfied with this result and appreciate their willingness to find a resolution, they were genuine in their efforts and wanted to make things right. Very positive outcome.

Hi George, thank you for the fantastic review. Sometimes those one off plumbers don't actually show up and they don't have insurance or warranty their job. We are always here should you need us in the future. Thank you from all of us at the Waterworks Plumbing and Drains Inc.

    leaking sink

I found and used Water Works Plumbing and Drains because this company has great reviews on Home Stars website. The plumber, Larry, was polite and professional, but the charge was high.

    Answer from pro:

Hi Linda, thank you for the using us and providing your feedback. However in order to provide the highest level of quality service that is deliverable in our industry there is going to be a cost associated with it and which is quite comparable with our competitors. In more detail to your service call we dismantle the faucets and did some repair to the sinks and reseal all the fixture as you has a lot of leakage. I am glad we were able to solve the problem for you. We certainly will stand behind the work. As you know our service is of the utmost quality, if that meet or exceed you expectation feel free to contact us. Thank you from Waterworks Plumbing and Drains Inc.

    Water stain on kitchen ceiling

Michael was very friendly and honest to tell us that we did not have leak, but it was more water splashing out from the shower upstairs. I remember throwing away the old stinky shower sweep and that's exactly what I need to replace. Michael was also helpful in giving us some energy saving tips for our pot lights along the way, and told me about replacing old toilet bowl that's not draining properly. Natasha was friendly in scheduling and following up service calls. You guys are a great team, thanks again!

    Plumbing

After an incredibly bad experience with another organization which extended over two weeks, I was in need of a reputable and customer focused organization. A second component was the urgency of the situation as I needed service immediately. WaterWorks was my sixth phone call. While unable to guarantee same day service, Rose was pleasant and placed me on a standby list. Within 2 hours, she called me back to say that a technician was available. Tony arrived, was professional, pleasant and incredibly helpful in detailing what needed to be done and in completing the job in a timely fashion. I would highly recommended this company for their customer service and the level of professionalism displayed.
