    Pipe Leak

We called at night with a report of a leak and first thing the next morning George showed up. George came to fix a leak and had to cut open our ceiling. He was meticulous and efficient. The job was done in no time and he left the house spotless. The tiny leak was found and fixed!

Laundry room tub and kitchen faucet

Our laundry room sink was very wobbly. George saw that there were no fasteners to hold it up. He devised a very simple solution to keep the sink taut with the rim. George also replaced our old spray faucet in the kitchen which had a nasty accumulation of dirt under it. He took the time to explain why this was happening. We are delighted with our new unit. Our fears of water damage in the laundry room and kitchen are gone!!

    Toilet replace and install

Who knew that dropping a toothbrush down a toilet could cause such damage? Jean and Michael were both delightful to deal with (and a phone call that Michael was stuck in traffic was much appreciated). Michael showed up promptly, assessed the problem and fixed it very quickly. I would recommend WaterWorks to anyone and everyone. Thanks guys!

    Answer from pro:

Hi Catherine! yes toothbrushes can be dangerous too! They also cause gum recession! All kidding aside,my recommendation of the year is...."Toilet Seats Down!"This way nothing can inadvertantly fall in. That's my 2cents. Good luck in your new move and all of your new plans. Plumbing restoration

We called Waterworks based on reviews from Homestars to do some plumbing work for us. We had just done a kitchen reno and needed to restore the plumbing from the main line to the sink, faucet, and dishwasher, and to re-attach the drain. We also had them install the dishwasher. The phone staff was friendly and great in setting up the appointment. George the plumber was prompt and presented us with the company standard binder to show us the pricing for the work we wanted done. The work was done in half a day (much quicker than if we had to do it ourselves) and everything looked good. All throughout, George was courteous and professional and cleaned up after. The only comment I would have is with regards to the price "menu" and the clarity around how it applied to our particular situation. One part of the work we were charged for was for "Installation of sink - other" which to us meant that the work included the mounting of a third-party sink (yes, Water Works also supplies sinks!). However, the sink was already mounted to the countertop, so I would think that there should be another "menu item" that was just specific to plumbing, unless, of course, we interpreted it differently. Other than that, great job! Follow-up comment: We had noticed our faucet leaking a day or so after the work was done. We called for a follow-up and was assured that since it was a recall that there would be no cost. However, when the faucet was inspected and it turned out that it was due to the faucet itself and not the work, we were charged with their standard visit fee of $50. Unfortunately as we are not plumbing experts, we would not be able to tell this. We just feel that if we were building a long-term relationship with them that this was definitely not a good second impression, especially since we paid a lot of money for the initial work. Based on this, we would find it hard-pressed to recommend them to someone else.

    Answer from pro:

Hi ER, thank you for your great review. The nice thing about a our flat rate price catalogue is that you know beforehand what will be the cost.In these uncertain times when we are hit with suprises all the time,it's comforting to know when you use Water Works Plumbing there are no suprises like extra charges for more needed work.If I didn't work here and knowing what I know about this company,I would hire them in "heartbeat"! Thanks Again, Michael Yuffa-The WaterWorks Plumbing Inc

Installed Bathroom Sink Faucet and Fixed Leaky Toilet

I am very happy with the work done and was impressed that George made sure everything was to done to my satisfaction. I must admit, I had some sticker shock about the cost, but George gave me a break on the rate to ease the pain. I also want to give a special mention to Jean, who took my initial phone call...very helpful, friendly and a pleasure to speak with!

Find leak in Main Water Service line and replace line

My home is from 1940 era with only a crawl space of about 2 to 3 feet clearance(no basement). The water service line comming into home broke and filled my crawl space up to outside ground level. First indications were that the leak was under the house. The Water Works crew decided to replace the line from the outside line to the line feeding through my floor. This involved cutting through pavement outside the foundation and working in the crawl space in muddy conditions. The crew never complained and found that the leak was between driveway shut-off and the city shut-off, which was farther than expected. The line was replaced (valve eliminated) and water back on within hours. The crew was very knowledgeable and efficient. When finished, all waste was removed from site and they even swept the driveway area to ensure it was clean. I cannot emphasize too much how difficult the work was in the crawl space. The work was of excellent quality and I would recommend them to anyone. Bob
