    Great, Friendly Service

    After our basement got flooded on July 16, 2024 rain storm, we called Waterworks Plumbing. Within 24 hrs. a Plumber was sent to our home, including the owner of the company, to determine why our back up sump pumps failed. We ended up replacing these faulty battery back up pumps with new ones plus other plumbing work that was needed. Service was professional, friendly and recommendations to prevent future flooding was appreciated. Waterworks Plumbing were great! I highly them recommend them for all your plumbing needs.

    Tiled shower leak service call

    I had a leak in my upstairs tiled shower into the main floor. The shower had been draining slowly for a few weeks but then leaked into the second floor. I called Waterworks plumbing to take a look at the shower and the area of the leak (which had since stopped). Michael completed a thorough assessment. He reassurred me after checking the area of the leak with infrared camera that a dehumifier would be adequate to dry any remaining mositure. With respect to the shower itself, he advised he would need more information about the construction of the shower to gain a better understanding of potential causes of the leak, as it was fairly recently constructed (a little over 1.5 years) and even offered to speak with the contractor who constructed the shower directly. He provided information on how I could continue using the shower temporarily (until more information was known about the shower construction and a permanent fix arrived at), with a relatively simple solution, and introduced me to the product Bio-Clean, which would aid in keeping the drains clear. Have been a long-time customer of Waterworks and I am always impressed that they look for the most straight-forward, effective solution for the client, while also being cost-effective. You won't get any hard-sell/upsell approach from them, just an honest assessment of your problem and recommendations for the best solution. Additionally, they will follow up with you both before the appointment and advise you of the expected timing and update you if there are any delays and also follow up to determine if you were satisfied with the service call - thank you Rupinder for that! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

    Great service

    Alija did a great job installing a water hammer arrestor on my toilet. I really appreciate the service that both he and Rupinder provided. Its comforting to know that I can call on Waterworks for any future plumbing concerns that I may have.

    Leak discovery and repair

    Ethan did a great job of finding and resolving our leak which required removing drywall, identifying the issue and repairing it in one visit. Very satisfied.

    Unreasonable quote for service that was unnecessary

    Told me my faucet was broken and I needed a new one. Proceeded to try sell me a faucet and quoted me $800 to replace it. Just take out old faucet and replace it with a new one. That's it. I mentioned it was steep for just replacing a faucet and was told that it was a competitive price. Another company came and merely tightened some connections on my existing faucet and let me know I didn't need to replace the faucet after all. The technician from Waterworks didn't even look to establish that there was an easy fix. Totally wasted my time and I even ordered a new faucet based on their recommendation which I will now return. Very disappointed with the level of service and trying to upsell necessary items.

    Basement faucet and pipes replacement

    We had a very good experience with Waterworks from our first callback from Rupinder to the excellent work of Michael who replaced our basement sink faucet and leaking pipe. Bravo!

    Replaced bathroom sink faucet

    Ethan arrived and found the problem of the leak under the sink at my condo. He recommended a new faucet which he had on hand in his truck. He worked efficiently and was very pleasant to deal with. He certainly understood how the installation worked and the best way to fix it. The only downside was that I found the solution expensive compared to other plumbers I had dealt with. A $900 charge to supply a faucet worth $250 with less than two hours work seemed excessive. Ethan was there and ready to fix my leaky faucet on the spot so I agreed to the price rather than look for someone else to do the work at the time I got the quote.

    Hose faucet replacement

    Garage hose faucet not functioning correctly (won't shut the water off completely) Technician Michael arrived as scheduled; diagnosed the issue; provided and estimate and completed the work. All done in less that an hour. Very satisfied with Michael's approach and diligence. Pros: quick response from my HomeStars request; complete follow up and timely appointment. Cons: pricy! $500 for a simple quarter turn ball valve seems high;

    Outdoor tap repair and new toilet with installation

    This is second time I have used Waterworks. Michael and Ethan are excellent plumbers. They pay attention to detail and complete the work efficiently.
